Comparable prices to big box stores but better selection. My favourite part? Free gift wrapping! Very friendly staff and great service. The store doesn't have an exact closing date but it won't be very long. Currently seasonal items are 60-70% off (some seriously cute Xmas décor and ornaments) and the remainder of the store is 20-30% off. They have really cute jewellery and unique items for special gifts. I really like their line of moon necklaces/bracelets where you pick the phase of the moon on a special date (birth, death, wedding, etc.) and can wear it as jewellery. I also like their sparkly Swarovski crystal bracelets, earrings, and necklaces. Some stuff here for sure can be found elsewhere or online for less but that's not the point of a boutique store. It's getting to go somewhere and browse through various collections to find the perfect gift for someone special. If you're a fan of s'well bottles, they still have a fairly good collection of unique ones and at 20% off you're paying a fair price for the designer s'wells. (Note you can get plain jane ones at Costco for $30) but the ones here are GORGEOUS and make me smile. They're collection of wrapping papers and tissues is extensive and are sure to be able to wrap your gift to fit any occasion or theme. Seriously gonna miss the Prettiest Present!

Well I just adore this store!…read more Often you walk into gift shops, and yes, everything is lovely but you just don't really see anything practical; or everything is really expensive, or really niche. But at the Prettiest Present they really have a great variety of really useful gifts! From presents for those pooch peeps, to culinary and kitchen gadgets - as well as neat necessities. Then there are the baby gifts, the seasonal decor for your own abode, a wall of tempting teas and some really unique jewelry. And then the pies de resistance... they have the most fabulous collection of gift bags, gift boxes and paper so that when you find that perfect present you can also wrap it up without having to go to another store! Love it!! Although, I do not remember seeing ribbon or cards, I could be wrong, or maybe that's just asking for the moon. Pro Tip: Make sure to go into the basement! Often you go into a store like this and assume that down the steps is just a small smattering of a few other things. But in this case the basement is the majority of the shop. It is at least 3x larger then the upstairs portion. Happy shopping!

I cannot say enough great things about our experience at Mastermind Toys! My son and I recently…read morevisited the store to find the perfect gift for his birthday, and we were lucky enough to be helped by Ayaan. From the moment we walked in, Ayaan greeted us with a warm smile and incredible enthusiasm. My son can be very indecisive (especially when faced with so many amazing options), but Ayaan was endlessly patient, kind, and truly knowledgeable about every product we asked about. He took the time to learn what my son liked, offered thoughtful suggestions, and never once rushed the process. It was clear he genuinely cared about making the experience special for us. Thanks to Ayaan's expert guidance, we found the perfect birthday gift--and more importantly, my son left the store beaming with excitement. On top of that, the store itself was spotless, organized, and welcoming. You can tell the team takes pride in keeping everything in top shape, which only adds to the overall experience. We walked in as customers, but we're leaving as lifelong fans. Mastermind Toys, you've got two new customers for life--and Ayaan, thank you for being such a wonderful person and making our day so memorable!

Ordered something for Christmas a FULL MONTH IN ADVANCE from one of their "sales" (I say this…read morebecause their sales typically bring them back down to what normal prices are). Had to follow up more than once to see if they actually had plans to ship us our item, and were eventually notified that they're not sending it, but only after hounding them. Were they going to wait until after Christmas to tell us? We could have bought the same thing on sale at the time of purchase elsewhere and now I can't even buy it in time for Christmas. We've always done our Christmas shopping here because our kids like to physically go in and make their lists, but we'll never go back. Done with these guys.

I have to say that, this Terra Losa location is a store which I have brought my art prints in to…read morehave framed several times, and it has consistently blown me away with the amazing level of customer service the provide... Today, I left the adjacent Staples absolutely furious and disgusted with the complete incompetence and degenerate so called service and management (another story, but seriously, horrible). I was concerned that I was not in good frame of mind to conduct business with specific and costly art framing services, but I needed to use my day off to get it done... The framing staff member Kianna, was exemplary. She was extremely courteous and used her expertise to help me with my price consciousness and particular aesthetic interests. She was not condescending in any way and explained very clearly what her processes were and listened to what I was saying regarding my needs, hopes and timelines. She paid attention and came with suggestions and guidance in a way which showed me that she had my interests in mind. If I were to show or share to any service people what I would want and expect in really good customer service, I would playback the experience I had. In fact, I left feeling redeemed because she also clued me into the sale/deal which was within my timeline forthcoming and saved me a huge amount (not even kidding). It is hardly ever which I would go out of my way to share positive review of corporate chain stores, but, as they say, it is people which make the business good bad or in this case great. Full credit to Kianna, her team of coworkers and the management of the Terra Losa Michaels for turning my night from completely disgusted (disgraceful Staples in the same plaza), into very thankful and pleased/satisfied. I would go so far as to say, that they made my night. Well done.
