This shop curates a wide variety of stuff that's ideal for gift giving. It's hard not to go overboard ordering just one more cute thing. I really like their needlework kits, greeting cards, and home decor items. Prices are not bargain basement so be warned that a shopping spree can add up fast! Still, shopping local has its own rewards and I am glad that this quirky little place has earned such a large following that it's still standing after all the economic challenges of the pandemic and beyond. Hard to explain, but the inventory just has an Edmonton feel to it -- check it out and see if you agree!

Seriously obsessed with this quirky store. Awesome gift ideas (for myself) in here. From bear…read moreshaped chopping boards, succulents in the cutest pots, to jewellery, mermaid bottle openers and so much more. The space is small but it has an upstairs mezzanine area with even more goodies and that's where you'll find the wall of patches. That's right, a wall of patches, my friend and I were debating buying a giant cat patch for a denim jacket. They are so cool. I want them all. The greetings cards are funny, shocking and perfect for any pal with a sense of humour. They sell light boxes, neon signs and trinket holders in weird shapes. What's not to love. Every single thing in this store is so damn cute, including the owner. She was funny, had great conversation and told us lots about the makers and various store items. Can't wait to go back and buy all the things!

It is just as fun and bright and colourful in person as they appear to be online. The owner is super friendly and helpful. She knows all of the products intimately and her enthusiasm is totally contagious. In terms of COVID-19 safety, the store is very small and only allows 3 people to browse at a time. Even at capacity, there is lots of space to move around. The owner insists everyone santizes their hands before entering and wears a mask. Knowing she does this for every customer goes a long way in making you feel safe. The best part about M&F? There's something for everyone. They sell gourmet chocolates, luxury bath products, enamel pins, cards for every occasion and more. The worst part about M&F? There's something for everyone. Seriously! It was very very hard limiting myself to buying Christmas gifts for my friends and family. I definitely snuck in a few items for myself (rocket pop bath salts anyone??) You may have seen their infamous "Fuck you Kenney" mugs in the news and on social media. What you may not know is that this isn't some attention getting gimmick; 25% of all sales goes directly to buying PPE for Alberta schools. It took me awhile to make my first visit to M&F but I don't think I'll be able to wait very long for the next one. This place is a gem!

Such a cool place full of treasures…read more I discovered this place by accident while looking for something else. I can see myself returning whenever I need to buy a special gift for a special someone. As a matter of fact, I did already. I got my mother a glass touch lamp with owls on it. She loves it and uses it as a night light for when she needs to get up in the pee hours. You know what I mean. They've got many themed collectables besides just Bradford. There's Disney, Night Before Christmas, Elvis, Classic cars, Betty Boop and other collectables I don't know how to name but recognize all the same. The prices are sometimes high, but we are talking about collectables. I collect dragons, and not only did they have a nice selection, but I found them to be fairly priced. I've paid more at other stores. The owner is a sweetheart. She likes to chat, but she's not intrusive. She doesn't hover. Honestly, I'm going to shop there whenever I need a gift, because I want to see this place stick around. I recommend you at least check it out. See if you can't find something for yourself or someone you love.

I have likely walked by this store many times and never walked in until recently. Each section is organized for a theme, including Elvis, Betty Boop, dolls, Christmas ornaments, t-shirts, and more. We were asked if we needed help but we were just browsing and the staff left us alone after. Prices of the items can be a little pricey but they offer unique items that you likely can't find in the mall. This is a great little store to find a gift for an unique person!

Despite the address being on 122 St, it's actually located in a ground floor suite right on 121 St right across from the Brewery District, close-ish to 104 Ave. There is angled parking out front. It's a cute and quaint little boutique filled with treasures beautifully displayed. My favourite was a selection of jewelry tucked in between pages of an antique novel by the door (when you see it, you'll understand). There was inspirational home decor, some cool stuff like concrete diamonds, some baby and kid's clothing (including these adorable baby headbands), lots of unique jewelry, cool razors, little succulents.. It's a bit like shopping at a local market but with everything in one pretty place. There is even a little coffee corner at the back. Prices seemed pretty reasonable. I would definitely recommend popping if you're looking for some unique gifts.

I stumbled upon Red Ribbon's instagram account and saw they were having an amazing pre-Black Friday…read moresale (extra 50% off sale items!) and picked up a cart full of things. It's free to pick it up in-store, so that's the option I chose. I placed the order late one evening and then received an email the next morning that my order was ready for pick up! Super fast! Walking into the store, you realize how large it is - it's quite deceiving from the outside. It's beautiful inside and it smells lovely; not sure if they had an air freshener or a diffuser or something like that, but it's a wonderful, light and calming scent that greets you. My order was ready behind the counter, but walking around the store I noticed a huge array of both men's and women's clothing, home decor, greeting cards, tons of candles and soaps and it goes on and on. If I didn't have to get back to work, I could easily spend a while browsing through there. The items I bought were lovely and also had a faint hint of the pretty scent from the store. I will definitely make a point to come back!

My friend told me that this store is expensive, but awesome. I finally decided to check it out,…read morebecause I have been dying to find some unique clothes. I thought Red Ribbon was going to be another one of those stores that frustrates me, because either the clothes are too expensive or too small for me to fit in. When I first walked in, I thought it looked like such a nice store. It was kind of dim, with spotlights. The hardwood floors were dark, and the clothes looked eclectic. I started looking through one rack of shirts, and I was kind of shocked to see plain cotton shirts selling for $70. I kept looking through different racks, and what I started to notice was that the prices really varied. There were a lot of very expensive clothes, but there was also some very affordable clothes. I didn't see that many bigger sizes, but I eventually came across two really cool shirt dresses in my size. I tried them on, and the black on fit perfectly. And the best part was that it was marked down from $69 to $35! I couldn't believe what a good deal that was for such a nice shirt. I noticed on the receipt that this store only offers store credit or exchanges, but I am quite sure I won't be returning this shirt. They also had some awesome purses and bags, but these were well over a hundred dollars. I love this store, and I would give it five stars, if they carried more larger sizes. I will definitely be stopping by here quite often from now on.
