All I have to say is that this place is awesome. First, because they are very professional and they do your smog test very quick. And second, because they are open on Sundays which works really well for us who don't have much time to do this during the week or on Saturday. This place is FAST. I've been twice, and both times had about a 45min expected wait time. I only waited 20-25min each time (Until my car got seen, not the total time of waiting for the inspection to be done). The man that does the inspection is very nice, informative and welcoming. They even have a little table with old magazines and cold water for you while you wait. All in all, being a person with a great deal of anxiety, this is the most comfortable Smog Check station I've even been to. read more

This is the second car I brought to Cal Smog for a smog check within the year. I had a good experience on my first visit and decided to revisit them for my second car's smog check. I found their customer service to be friendly and welcoming. Both employees greeted me and gave an estimated completion time of 20 minutes which was completed prior. I am most grateful to the service tech named Paul who inspected my two year old diesel truck probably beyond what he was required to and informed me I had a small transmission oil leak. My truck only has one year remaining on the factory warranty. The only two oil changes were performed for free by the dealer, and they did not bring the small transmission leak to my attention. The dealer must now remove the transmission to make the repair. Had the Cal Smog service tech not brought this issue to my attention I would have probably learned of the issue after my factory warranty expired, and been left with a very expensive repair invoice. this place passed my car charged me & when I told him i had a coupon he then did a visual inspection and said the #s on my catalyst are no good even though the car passed smog and all he said was (I DON'T KNOW I BEEN DOING THIS FOR 8YRS I DON'T KNOW) then he says take it to a muffler shop. So i asked why charge me and do a smog check before you do a visual inspection cuz why not do a visual first before he runs a smog and charges me & his reply was(I DON'T KNOW I BEEN DOING THIS 8YRS) so now im going to a Referee 2mro & will post the results sometime after im done. read more

Guillermo was fast and efficient. Parking can be a challenge because he shares space with a gas station. The waiting area is very spartan, but the plastic chairs were O.K. and there were a number of interesting magazines available and a nice fan moving the air around. $44.95 out the door, with website coupon, and no extra charges for certificates, etc. like some places try to do. All in all very satisfied with the service and would recommend to anyone needing a smog certificate.
