This guy was so incredibly rude and incompetent. I took my car (2014 ford mustang) to get smogged. It's been passed before, I know for a fact my car is perfectly fine. MY FATHER HAS TAKEN MY CAR THERE BEFORE AND IT PASSED. I don't know if it was due to me being a female, or he just didn't want to work on my car, but after waiting for 5 mins while he was checking my car, he calls me over explaining that he would need to take another person instead of me because my car was going to take longer. He said that my cabin air filter had to be looked up to see if it was legal or not. It's had the sticker with the number on it! Even though I confirmed to him that the past owner had put all the stuff on the car. It's already completely legal. He said some bullshit about needing to check everything and run it through his system. Even though I waited my turn to get my car checked he wanted to take another car, that came after me, before he worked on my car, and said I could wait or take my car. Instead of being rude I just laughed and said I would take my car instead of waiting. POS. read more

This place is so ignorant and has no knowledge about cars - this is why: I have a K&N aftermarket Cold air filter on my vehicle that I bought; I made sure that this filter is legal for my vehicle. I bought it from Pep Boys over 16 years ago, when the vehicle was only three years old. Every other smog place passed my vehicle all theses years! This mechanic checked on the California DMV car smog info. The engine size and years were all wrong. Now 2022 I go to this place because of all the good reviews. This guy didn't pass my car because my vehicle's year didn't show up with the part number. Are you kidding me??? WTH??? So because of that he did not pass me, however according to the paperwork my car did pass smog check. I was so irritated about this whole situation. Yet he the mechanic told me my car didn't pass. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. This place don't know what they are doing. People like this are not real mechanics, any Joe blow off the street can do his job when they are properly trained to do machinery. 0 stars for this place. read more

Very quick and service was good. Seems like only 1 technician was working, and there was one person ahead of me. I waited about 10 minutes for them to be done, and then my car had it's smog check done in about 10 minutes as well. They have a pretty big waiting area with ample seating and hand sanitizer was at the area where you pay. They honored a coupon they had on their website with no issues, I paid $45 for my smog check and certificate (service was done on a 2013 Nissan Altima). They send your info to the DMV electronically if you bring your paperwork with you. No haggling or unnecessary car advice, which was greatly appreciated as I went by myself as a young woman! My car has recently been fixed but for whatever reason the check engine light is still on. I was told my car couldn't have the light on in order to do the smog check. I should fix it and then drive a lot like out in the desert. Okay, no problem. He still asked for the car keys so I'm thinking maybe he'll still test it. My previous visit here on a Saturday another serviceman worked on my car and I my car failed the smog test. This was due to my gas cap not fitting on their test equipment. The serviceman said I needed a new one. So I come back today with a new cap to get the truck tested and this guy isn't there. But Francisco is there and I told him what the other serviceman said and the haggle I went through trying different gas caps. Well I found out that I didn't need a new gas cap at all. I was told that the other guy didn't use the adaptor on the machine for the gas cap I have!! Wow!! Looks like some training is in order. Come during the week and see Francisco. I needed a smog done before getting to work. I found these guys with good reviews and within my reach. Upon arrival I tell the guy that I found them on Yelp. With only one person in front I had no problem waiting. Shortly after he did my car and let me know it was ready. Before hand I purchased the Yelp Deal. When I showed him the Yelp Deal he said it would turn out to be the same. I told him then what's the point of this deal if they will not honor it. He said I'll adjust the invoice. During him doing something on the computer, I look at thier website and see they have a standard price and show him that. He said oh that does work anymore. This immidietly becomes the red flag. I don't have time to argue with the man. The owner needs to update the website, secondly take down the Yelp deals if they will not honor them.
