My daughter needed a smog this year on her 2012 Mazda- we usually go to a smog place close by but they were closed at 9am- my daughter searched for nearby shops and found this place less than a mile so we head over- as we're waiting owner drives up and begins opening up- first thing we noticed is how clean the place is. We drove in he was super sweet and friendly yet professional. Asked my daughter a few questions on her car and proceeded to test it- he also did a lil inspection and mentioned to her that her oil gasket needed to be changed soon because she was leaking a lot of oil. I'll come here now not because I live close by, but because my experience here was more than I could have expected. My car was due for a smog check so I decided to do a "tune up" myself and take the car in with a fresh set of spark plugs and wires. My car ran really bad after the tune up but decided to take it in to get smogged anyway. When I got there Jimmy was so helpful and told me that he could not work on my car but referred me to a shop down the street and got my car fixed for free, turns out I had my wires mixed and they simply put the wires in the correct slots for me. After that my car ran great. Thank you Jimmy for referring me and getting my car fixed before my smog. My car passed smog and Jimmy even cleaned my windshield for me. Was recommended by my mechanic and Jimmy did not disappoint. SUV didn't pass on first test so Jimmy attached a device and told me to drive on freeway. When device reads "READY" bring straight back. Who does that? A lot of places would say sorry and bring back once YOU figure out the problem and then charge for a retest. Jimmy has a outstanding attitude and highly recommend him. My friend and I recently purchased a Class C, 1988, 25ft long RV. The 1st shop we went to (even though we called in advance to ask if his shop can smog RVs) was unable and unwilling to help us. His equipment cords were not long enough and his shop roof was not tall enough to accommodate our RV, and frankly he had a bad attitude. So we called more places and Jimmy from All Smogs Whittier was the only guy to be able to explain to me the smog process (with RVs you have to remove the engine cover in the front) and was very thorough. When we got to the All Smogs shop, Jimmy was super cool and helped us in a jiffy! His shop roof is definitely tall enough to accommodate our RV and he had the right equipment to help us. He was knowledgeable, thorough, reasonably priced, and his customer service went above and beyond. Definitely recommend! read more

SMOG checks: Like giving your car a prostate exam! At least not my car. She's female. Her name is Camilla. She purrs when I turn her on (which is every day). Enough of the pseudo-sexual relationship I have with my car... on to the review. The service here was slow. There was one car ahead of me when I arrived and another in the garage being "checked". In total it took one hour for my car to pull into the garage. This guy is slow at giving SMOG checks. I was standing next to the wand (which was on the floor) that he puts in the tail pipe of cars. It was on the floor for 20 minutes before he used it on the car. What the hell?! 30 minutes per car? In that much time I can get my oil changed, car washed, and tires rotated elsewhere. Shouldn't SMOG checks be a little faster?! I can't give this place less than two stars. The guy at this place acknowledged me when I arrived. He was nice while he was helping me. Waiting more than one hour for a SMOG check is unacceptable when there are only two customer before you. read more
