Sadly I recently stopped ordering his dog food and switched to another retailer. After several not so good delivery issues with a contractor I could not take any more chances of running out of food. Orders sat in "Ready for Delivery" mode and when they did get picked up went missing requiring I ask for a refund or I had to be home to walk the person into building. Perhaps I will come back when these issues are resolved. I started using Tractor Supply in 2017 and was very happy until recently. I do recommend them especially if one of the major carriers delivers.

This one looked bigger and was warm in weather just over 50 degrees F. Christmas gifts were near the door and the gift cards were right in front on the cash wrap. We looked at the work gloves and Carhartt. I was surprised by the Carhartt prices, but the inexpensive clothes were thin, not that the store has anything to do with that. We checked the work gloves at Walmart later and they were slightly less expensive but you can bet that they wouldn't last as long. Employees were friendly and helpful. My neighbor handed the cashier $100 too much and the cashier made sure to let her know and counted the money in front of us to be certain.

This time, I purchased a bunch of birds including baby ducks as usual, but when I got home, I realized that one of the ducks was crippled. It's got a twisted, malformed leg and it's limping. You would have thought "then go return it and get a new one, or go get your money back" I thought the same, in fact I did. You know what they said? Sorry we can't take responsibility for that. If you pay full price for something, you expect the best quality. If you buy a defective product of any kind, it would only make sense that they would refund you and take it back, or at least replace the product to a non-defective one. They did none of that. "Sorry, we don't take them back". I didn't pay full price to be stuck with your defective inventory. It's crazy how 100 good experiences can all collapse to the ground with a single bad experience. All of a sudden, the store doesn't leave a good impression in me. I don't just buy animals for the heck of having them. I also breed them, and good genes are key.

Last week I put in an order and 5 days later, I have heard nothing. I finally called customer service and they contacted the store who said the driver hasn't shown up. I get the troubles, but how about an update? Last year they had some delivery challenges and they kept me updated.
