I needed the Pccm+ installed in my 2008 911. They were fast, fairly priced, and it worked. They did tell me it was a Chinese knockoff; I checked it out. This was a nearly accurate Porsche-licensed development of the new radios from older cars to Kremer audio, which had the head unit manufactured in China. These guys know what they are doing, are open when they say they will be, and got the job done same day! Minor complaint: They didn't sync the radio with the car ( which allows the head unit to detect the BOSE amp and communicate with it) . This is a small detail of this particular installation, and I did it myself when I got home. read more

I recently went to see John (Owner) about beefing up my stock stereo on my 2018 ragtop Camaro. He worked up a package of two side speakers, a bass for the trunk, 100w speaker and 500w bass amplifier and software. I dropped $200 on layaway and came back a month later to do the install. He took a day with the car, called me ahead to share that due to the convertible top taking up the bulk of the truck space he had to use a different bass (couple hundred more - his cost) solution. I said do it. Came back to get the car the next day and love the final product. He actually ordered larger size speakers and put those in too. I have all the power and clarity now to drive highway speed with the top down and still hear some great sounding tunes. John's team knocked it out of the park. Super satisfied. Highly recommended. Went in and asked for an estimate on how much it would be to look at my Car audio set up in my 1988 Honda Accord. Car is old but I've put a recently new system in it. The subwoofer was corroded which I found out today at a different car audio place. I paid $110 at the place I went to, yes I paid to much but Car Audio Warehouse has little to no customer service. Just when walking in I wasn't greeted at all, they looked upset with me being there, the glares, the silence. The just downright anger in their faces. I don't know if it was because I'm a black male or if they are naturally just bad at customer service. Regardless of the answer. This place deserves no ones business. PLEASE don't go here. I had this place install at least 5 units in my cars all with XM. In 4 cars the ""check antenna" came on, i took 2 cars back there to get fixed and it was a hassle and got an attitude. John is alright but dont have anything good to say about the owner. If you get XM installed, make sure they dont zip tie the extra antenna wire too tight and plug in the antenna all the way! I went somewhere else on Saturday to get it fixed, now i have to take my PT Cruiser there for the same problem. They have lost a good customer. I stumbled across this place while searching from some car audio components on Craigslist, and figured I'd check it out. It's right off of 238 between 580 and 880, in a somewhat sketchy part of town but whatever. The place is setup warehouse style with just about every brand you could think of (JL Audio, Kicker, Pioneer, Alpine, etc.). I came looking for a JL Audio sub and amp (they're an authorized "Signature" dealer for JL so that's good) and they had exactly what I wanted in stock. It's a family-run business so it was nice to shop local, if you're into that. Their sales style is best described as "no bullshit," which may be a turn off for some, but I found it refreshing since I don't like to waste time. I was in and out in a few minutes and walked away with a great deal on what I was looking for. I would definitely recommend this place to friends. read more

Why, why, why can't ZERO STARS be given?!!! Out of desperation we had our truck towed here from Manteca to remove an alarm system that was causing our truck not to start. The alarm was removed for $60. In return our windows will no longer roll down. This is important to us because we have illegal tint . My husband called the shop the next day and was totally blown off by the owner. He insisted that all they did was remove or disable the alarm system. He told my husband he could bring it back but "they don't work for free." First of all, nobody asked for free work. We just wanted them to double check that they didn't disconnect anything by accident or something. The owner (or whomever was on the phone) was extremely rude and eventually told my husband that he wasn't even gonna look at his truck and to take it some place else! This wasn't even a heated conversation! This guy was just a total douche-bag. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE, EVER!!! The owner had actually written me a private message in response to my first review, just a few days before bringing my truck in. No apologies were offered for the bad experience. He just asked if I thought I had the right place?!!! Are you kidding me?! These people are even rude "behind the scenes." I have heard nothing back since replying to him and calling him out on the fact that his company lacks customer service and his business performs shoddy work and that I believed him to be the guy that told my husband he wouldn't try to fix their mistake. Funny how I haven't heard back. This is one of those businesses that has me tempted to stand out front with a warning sign for potential customers. Hmmm, maybe I will. I had purchased my alarm from a dealer that A. no longer answers the phone, and B. was not a legitimate Clifford dealer in the first place. I lost a remote from my keychain several weeks ago, and had located the replacements online. However, I did not know the magic button sequence to allow the remotes to connect up. Looked up local dealers for Clifford, and asked for the assistance of programming the remotes to the alarm. I showed up at 5:20, and was on my way again in 20 minutes. Minus one star because I Came here one day and they wouldn't let me in 6 minutes after they closed at 6pm not 7pm... Anyways gave then another chance so I came the next day and they hooked me up with a 12 inch odyssey mixer case with slide out laptop stand (very hard to find) paid 180$ for a 300$ case! Recommend buying NEEDLES here if you use vinyl they got em for 40$ each! Guitar center got em for double the price for the same shure needles. I had a double din swap for a 03 Infiniti G35 done here The price and efficiency earns this place 2 stars. John did a great job at providing me a quick and reasonable estimate and the work was done on time. 1st thing that went wrong was the labor itself was not too great though, the dash board on my G35 got cracked and therefore they needed to reglue it back on, this could have been due to the plastic aging under the sun or it could've been their possibly rough handling, all I know is that I've never seen a crack on the dash prior to giving them the car. 2nd thing to note was that they forgot to plug in the trunk button therefore I couldn't pop my trunk, I realized this before leaving and the guy got it fixed instantly but still cmon. 3rd thing that went wrong was that John never told me that my steering wheel controls wouldn't work with the new system unless I bought and had another thing installed. He never told me until I found out that it didn't work, turns out this would cost me another $120. I asked him prior to dropping off the car if he had done work with G35s and he said he has done a lot, so there's no way he couldn't have let me know about this before. read more
