L O C A T I O N Harbor Freight Tools is located in a plaza on the corner of Blacow & Mowry Ave. The parking lot is shared by a Indian grocery store and other establishments. It was a crazy experience when we were parking so proceed with caution. I N S I D E Everything is labelled well and what I do is look up what we want online picking the store we want to go to and it will state what aisle to look and if they have inventory at that store. Take this with a grain of salt. What I found with this particular Harbor Freight was that many shelves and areas were empty. So again proceed with caution. But it was all quite organized. S E R V I C E We were in need of a 5/8 deep socket and a socket wrench as well as a normal wrench. Luckily Harbor Freight comes to the rescue as we're not needing anything super fancy, just something that will do the job without breaking the bank. Luckily they had what we needed at this particular Harbor Freight. There was someone who was walking up and down the aisles asking if people needed help. He pointed us in the right area. Checking out was a bit long though as there was only one person initially and they were doing a return that seemed to be having some issues. But eventually the line was being handled a second person as they saw the line was growing exponentially. He seemed to be chugging away through the line after we paid. Glad they were there to help but it would've been nice to have a third person helping out. O V E R A L L This particular Harbor Freight seems to be quite popular that their stock seems to be out of a lot of things. Lines got pretty long but it was just chance. I recommend trying out Harbor Freight for any tools you may need that are good enough and doesn't have to be expensive and just works.

We already knew exactly which one we wanted, so this should have been a simple purchase. It took four calls to the Garden Center and one employee physically walking over there to try to find someone to help us, all with no success. After waiting 40 minutes, my husband went to the customer service/returns desk for assistance. There were 4-5 employees standing there chatting, and not a single one acknowledged us during the entire time we waited. We were told someone needed to either bring the grill down from the rack or retrieve it from a pallet in the back. What was particularly frustrating was that there were several employees available yet they chose to send the woman to handle the task alone. This isn't about questioning her capability it's about common sense and teamwork. We then spoke with another employee who repeatedly tried to convince us to purchase the floor model that was already assembled. I'm sorry, but if I'm spending $700 on a grill, I want a brand-new product straight out of the box. The fact that my purchase seemed like an inconvenience to the employees doing the job they're paid to do is not acceptable. After nearly an hour of waiting with no resolution, we decided to leave. We drove to Lowe's instead and received outstanding customer service. Not only were the employees helpful and attentive, but they even offered us a complimentary gift. We were in and out within 25 minutes. Ironically, at Home Depot, one of the first things they asked for was our ID so they could sign us up for a credit card. How about helping customers complete the purchase they came in for before pushing credit card applications? Extremely disappointing experience. We won't be returning.

You can tell everyone is trying to make do with what ever staff they can have and even though they all seem to be wearing multiple hats everyone is so helpful and nice! They had pretty good stock, I was able to knock out almost everything on a whole list I was only really expecting to get some of which was super nice, and they all worked really well with each other when I needed an item that was locked up or making paint for me. Some items are only a little pricy, but very good quality so it's worth it if you have a flexible budget. Shout out to the evening staff thank you for always being so helpful!

On Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m., we received a text that our delivery window had changed, so we rearranged our entire day. Then at 6:30 a.m. Thursday morning, we received an email that our entire order had been delayed because one item wasn't in stock. Why wasn't this discovered the day before? My husband had already taken the day off work, and instead of notifying us in advance, Lowe's waited until the morning of delivery. Even more frustrating, we were told they didn't call to ask if we wanted the other appliances delivered because "it was too early." That wasn't a courtesy--it took away our ability to make a decision that could have kept our project moving. The store manager assured us Thursday that everything would be delivered Friday. Then at 6:00 a.m. Friday, he called to say our credit card had been declined and that we needed to contact customer service. Customer service confirmed our card had not been declined. My husband has taken two days off work, I've paid for two nights in a hotel with our three children under the age of six so he could finish our kitchen renovation, and our delivery window was supposed to be 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. It is now after 1:00 p.m., and we're still waiting. We've spent five years saving for this budget-friendly kitchen remodel. Because of Lowe's repeated mistakes, poor communication, and lack of customer care, we've now spent hundreds of dollars in unexpected expenses and may not even be able to finish our project on time. Lowe's markets itself as a home improvement company, but this experience has shown us that they don't seem to understand--or care--how much these delays impact homeowners. Mistakes happen, but what matters is how a company communicates and makes things right. Unfortunately, Lowe's failed us every step of the way.

    First time encountered such rude customer service. Not sure if he's just unhappy with his job or…read morethey're having a bad day or is this how they always treat their customers. I called in to see if there was a tech cart in stock, because apparently their online inventory is inaccurate. A nice lady helped me. She told me they didn't have any in stock, I ask since you guys can see who has it and your inventory is more accurate in your system, can you tell me which store does have it ? She said yes I'll put you on hold, 5 mins later a guy came on the phone super aggressive, asking me what I'm looking for I said I have already been helped. He says what are you looking for ??? I told him wha I was looking for and he said unfortunately we don't stocks check here. You need to call every store if you want to know if it's in stock. Then I explained that since all HF have the same inventory can't he just view it to see it ? Aggressively told me no, I asked for his name he said he can't give out his name. I asked him then what was other lady doing for five minutes? He said she's not even checking the item she's helping another person. So please explain what was the point of putting me on hold and telling me you're going to check then not checking ?? I asked for his name and he told me he's not allowed to give out his name. This phone call was at 10:13am 4/17/26 I need someone to please reach out because this is unacceptable. I will also reach out to their main office in Woodland Hills CA.

You have ad sales, coupons needed sales, and club sales that go on simultaneously. Makes me confused on what item I saw where and at what price. Went on a Saturday morning at opening... got a greeting... which is rare because this store tends to get busy. They were out of a few ad items but a few they were able to locate in the back.
