I mistakenly painted directly onto the clear coat, and the low-quality clear coat I bought from them left a sticky, mildew-like finish with dirt embedded in it after drying. It dried like jelly, not like normal clear coat, even after two coats. When I called to explain this to the manager, he was rude, hung up on me, and said, "We don't answer questions. You should know how to do everything." He bragged about being in business for 73 years, implying they don't need to care about customers or competition. The paint cans are a rip-off--less than half-filled, and you have to spray at a specific angle or it just shoots air. To paint a hood, expect to spend $60-$90 for their tiny cans. When I told the manager they should advise customers better, especially given the high prices, he dismissed me completely. I won't be back, and I urge others to read reviews before visiting. It took about 10 minutes for them to mix the paint for me. The color match is 99.9%, my eyes can't even see the difference. Highly recommend it if you're here to fix a scratch or get color-matching paint for your car.

Customer service off the charts with Cindy answering any questions you might have and is happy to revise any invoices or estimates you might have. Russell, Ian, and Ralph are the individuals I had the pleasure of meeting and were so careful handling my brand new parts i spent insane money on. They helped dial in fitment, aligned my car, lowered it, even went as far as to check and tighten and loose bolts. Ian went ahead and replaced missing fender button and tabs for the liners on the inner wheel well, as well as tightening my exhaust mounts and bolts because he noticed they were loose. They really take their time with their work and are honest, which is hard to find. Everyone here is super kind and knowledgeable and i can't say enough good things about them because it wouldn't be doing it justice. I'll always be a supporter of pops as long as the building is standing! Crazy to think I stumbled upon this place from a friend who recommended them to me once. I don't think i'll trust anyone else with my car if I ever need something done that i can't do myself. Prices are NOTHING to complain about here either. Fair, honest, and very transparent. They have a comfortable workspace and very fast Wi-Fi, so I was able to get plenty of work done while the car was being tinted. Then he's trying to get me to pay $190 to flush my brakes and says there's no way to know if theres a leak until my brakes get flushed. What??? Of course I don't do it and take my car to another more reputable shop to get the brakes checked just to make sure, and they tell me everything looks good. I can't say with certainty he was deliberately trying to scam me, but he's obviously giving tons of WRONG INFORMATION that could've cost me hundreds if not thousands of dollars while banking on me not knowing much about cars. On top of all that - after looking at the invoice I see they charge a 4% CREDIT CARD PAYMENT fee but didn't mention a single word about it. Not only is 4% MORE than what they have to pay for their own processing but not properly disclosing it or giving me an option to pay with cash or debit seems to border on ILLEGAL according to state laws. The installer looked at the tint and asked, "Are you sure this is XPEL? Color is off." We matched it against their samples, and it didn't match. Did the official samples fade that much? Photos attached, judge for yourself. As for me, it was an expensive lesson and I won't be back. The re-work from the authorized installer was basically flawless, night and day difference.
