From towing, to getting my car to the auto shop, to just understanding what was happening with my claim, Francis was there every step of the way. She went above and beyond what I ever expected. She kept me updated, explained every step clearly, and made sure I never felt lost in the process. In fact, she gave me more clarity, support, and peace of mind than my own insurance company did. She didn't just do her job--she cared, and that made all the difference. People don't realize how meaningful it is to have someone patient, kind, and reliable helping you after an accident--but I'm truly grateful I had Francis. They do really good work here, and are probably about 10% cheaper than my other mechanic I used to…read morego to in Hayward. It's also within walking distance of my house so I don't have to pay for an Uber/wait for a ride when I drop or pick my car back up. I've had an oil change done here, a front headlight replaced, and they fixed a recurring issue I was having w/my blind spot detection system and key fob -- the latter something my prior mechanic was not able to fix for some reason. The blind spot detection system error light did come back on after about a week, but I think it requires more than just resetting the code/calibrating. I will just live w/that for now. The only demerit I would give is for when your car is ready. Each time I've dropped off, I've been told the shop would call me when they had an update or when the work was fixed (expecting 2 calls), but I never got any calls each visit -- I had to physically call and usually had to leave a voicemail which was not always returned. They are pretty busy so I get it, but you would think they'd want to call you to get your car out of there to clear up the queue when it was done. The last time I went -- I had initially dropped my car off around 8:15am or so and didn't hear back around 3:45pm yet (was told to expect an update around 11-12p) -- so I was forced to walk there, not knowing if my car was ready or not, and after waiting awhile found out my car was ready. It still took another 20-25 minutes to get my bill, pay, and get the car brought up to me based on the size of the lot and the amount of cars that are in that lot (every mechanic seems to have tons of cars in their lot that are not driveable taking up a ton of real estate on premises). It started to rain too and the waiting area itself is quite small inside -- I ended up waiting outside under an awning for my car. They didn't seem to be in any rush to get my vehicle out -- not sure if it was just too busy that day or they are just not that assertive with check out procedures. It'd be nice if even if they didn't call you w/an update, that they'd at least call you when the car was ready and then got you ready to check out fairly quickly, especially if they'd had the car for around 6-7 hours for not incredibly comprehensive service. I will continue to go, but will expect to have to proactively show up towards the end of the day and hope I can get my vehicle out in a reasonable amount of time. Otherwise, they do very solid and affordable work.

I hate trying to find honest car spots for my car needs. I came all the way from Livermore because he said this place was worth it. Well, he was not wrong! It only took a little less than 2hrs for me to get a set of new tires and an alignment. The environment is comfortable and all of the staff I interacted with is so kind! They didn't mind that I set up my "office" in their waiting room so I can work while they did the job. There were some senior citizens waiting and the staff showed them so much respect and kneeled down to speak with them to show they were not just "customers" but, they are there to take care of them. That touched my heart. After my car was done, I was told that I get free tore rotations and that they can also do an oil change at the same time as it is recommended to do both at once to keep everything top notch. I had to take a day off just to get estimates and get a feel for who would be repairing my beloved little Honda commuter. I'm pretty picky with who works on my cars and want to be able to have a sense of trust and calmness. So i shopped around at nearby auto body shops near Antioch area where Im staying but didn't get a good vibe with the staff that were helping me with estimates and explaining the overall process. I decided to have Garage Works work on my car because he's conveniently close by my job and I've never had any complaints or bad experiences working with him in the years ago. Back in 2010, he painted my 64ss Impala when someone hit me. A lot of the hot rod community referred me to him as he really does great repairs/paint. Then last year, I got rearended and the tow truck even recommended him! I want to be able to have peace of mind and know that he guarantees his work and level of quality and craftsmanship that Linh produces is remarkable. You can tell a lot of car owners with very expensive high and vehicles trust him just by walking into his shop and seeing all the projects lined up in the parking lot. You can find majority of really old school all American hot rods and 140-1960's classics as well as High-End European and Japanese show cars. What I appreciate the most is Linh treats all the cars just as equal, even my little 2012 Honda CRZ commuter! He also walks me through the process and explains in detail what needs to be done in order for the car to be properly repaired & painted. He said that there are cheap ways to repair that are not recommended and there's the correct way to Repair so that the customer is happy and no issues later down the road. I like that he has the mentality of replacing parts instead of putting a bunch of Bondo and pulling dents out.I walk away with peace of mind after handing him the keys. Something pretty rare a customer feels especially With anything car related whether it's a mechanic, paint shop or collision repair. I was about to give up on my third try but I thought "I already wasted gas circling, so mind as well try to get in...." (Pics for alleyway/location) Also, they don't have a sign on the shop itself except for the outside, so it might be a bit "hard" to find/notice. Just know it's the last place in the back of the alleyway with a lot of cars in the process of getting repaired. When I drove in, I felt a bit intimidated but don't worry, the guys are nice! I came here for an EXTERIOR car wash and the outcome of it was great! I think I had fallen in love with my car again because whenever I touched it, it just felt so.. smooooth! I noticed he didn't wash my rims but for the price of $10, I think it's a steal! My car wash took about 20 mins and there is free WiFi in the waiting area. The waiting area is kinda dim but it's very clean and there are also magazines that you can read while you wait too! I would definitely come back and recommend to friends. :)
