Both times I received good service, but today when I had John help me out, he was able to explain the way paint settles on surfaces and how to possibly pick out the color we want to get. John was awesome with how he helped me get towards the color we're looking for. When picking out a color for the outside of your house it can be tricky. The colors don't always look like they do when you're looking at them online or even at the sample they have on paper when you're at the store too. Dunn Edwards puts out quality paint and excellent customer service too. When buying paint the quality matters and getting the help you need does too.

I narrowed down my choice to about 3 colors but wanted to find out the undertone in each, so thought knowing the colorant that goes in each will help me choose the color better. Today 3.28.25 at 420PM, I called to ask some simple questions about the colorants in the 3 colors. The lady who picked up the phone was the rudest person I have encountered in my 40 years in the bay area. She was very adrupt and told me 3 times that to ask any question, I would have to come to the store. I was so surprised. I told her that I have received better customer service at Home Depot which is just a Big Box Store. I thought a small specialized store like CentriHouse will be more customer friendly. She yelled, "Then you can go to Home Depot" and banged the phone down on me. I am just so surprised! Wow. How is this lady even working here? Was she chosen for her great customer service and interaction? Because of her extreme rudeness, I give her -10 stars. For the 2 gentlemen, I give 5 /5 stars. I am an older person with severe arthritis. Its not easy for me to hop into a car to go to the store to ask just a few questions. She cd hv said,"I am waiting on customers right now. Could you hold? After I take care of them, I will help you". But no. She just yelled from the beginning that if you have ANY questions at all, YOU JUST HAVE TO COME TO THE STORE. She helped unload items from my trunk, removed the car seats, and carefully tried every possible way to get the tree inside. When it still wouldn't fit, she didn't hesitate--she immediately offered to look into getting it delivered to me. Her patience, kindness, and genuine willingness to help from start to finish truly stood out. Dee is an absolute gem and a perfect example of outstanding customer service. Tried to get flooring for my apartment building. Worst experience ever. They did a few installs…read moreand everytime they nickel and dimed me for fixing the floor below the floor (subfloor). It was in the thousands of extra dollars by the time they finished and I never knew it would be that expensive until they were done. Not trustworthy and the workers they sent were very unhelpful and unreliable. I heard this is not even really Sherwin Williams (I get paint from them) but just a bunch of people who do floors from off the street. Very scary to me when I have renters who they interact with. Maybe I am too small for them to care?

[[ Kids Workshop Review ]]…read more Every 1st Saturday (or sometimes even more), Home Depot offers a Kids Workshop for free to build something which they list on their website. For October 2025 it was the Haunted Candy Box. It was our first time doing it so I wanted to give a detailed review and some things I noticed when I went. 1.) Workshop location is OUTSIDE of home depot on the right hand side. I attached a picture to show the location. 2.) Although you have to register on the website beforehand, the event is relatively chaotic and they do not check. I think they get a set amount of kits and they just hand it out until they run out. 3.) When we arrived at 9am, the event wasn't set-up and a bunch of parents with their kids were watching the setup. I don't think they finished until maybe around 9:15am (setting up tables, getting the materials, kits, etc.) 4.) No Aprons available which was a huge bummer. Not sure why the didn't have any. Maybe Home Depot does not ship these aprons in advance and it's whatever is left-over from previous events. 5.) The Tables themselves are pretty tall and I think 3-5 year olds may be able to work on them a bit easier. If your kid is on the smaller side or younger, they may not be able to reach the table. I've seen other parents bring their own miniature table so their kid can work on the craft. 6.) Some parents just showed up and took kits to work on it at home which is not a bad idea in case you don't want to do it there. Overall, I think it's not too bad for a free event but I wish they were more prepared for it. One employee was also very rude at the event we went to and seem annoyed we were asking questions like "Where is the apron?" or "Do you have anymore hammers or screwdrivers?". She would just answer "No" and that was it. Ironically the younger employees were nicer and went to get more tools for us which made her interaction even worse.

I've called about 5 or 6 times now, and it's always a long long wait before anyone picks up. Last time, someone answered, but she's talking to someone in front of her, who's arguing about something he bought. No matter how many times you say hello, she can't be bothered to attend to the customer on the phone which she, for some unknown reason, answered, even though she wasn't ready to speak to the customer. Why on earth would you answer the phone if you're still talking to someone else? The other day i was put on hold forever. It was obvious nobody was going to pick up so i finally hung up and called back. Then the same thing happened when that employee transferred me to appliances. I see they only have 2 stars even though they're paying yelp a monthly fee. That means they're REALLY bad!

We went with just two colors- white with blue trim. Blue for the door. The spray job on the security screen is gorgeous! Also, his two step process of rolling and spraying really did the trick to fill in hairline cracks in our stucco.

Zaina was extremely helpful. She asked questions about firmness, configuration, fabric etc and we narrowed down the couch fairly fast. If I would have gone in by myself without help I would have been overwhelmed. Zaina made it seamless. She also reconfirmed my choices throughout the ordering process just to make sure everything was correct. Also I had multiple sales people come by and compliment me on various things. I don't know if that's something management asks the employees to do, but their compliments sounded sincere and every person I interacted with was super friendly. So this review is purely based on my initial experience. I'm hopeful that the rest of my experience turns out great and then I'll add an update to my review.
