Today 3.28.25 at 420PM, I called to ask some simple questions about the colorants in the 3 colors. The lady who picked up the phone was the rudest person I have encountered in my 40 years in the bay area. She was very adrupt and told me 3 times that to ask any question, I would have to come to the store. I was so surprised. I told her that I have received better customer service at Home Depot which is just a Big Box Store. I thought a small specialized store like CentriHouse will be more customer friendly. She yelled, "Then you can go to Home Depot" and banged the phone down on me. I am just so surprised! Wow. How is this lady even working here? Not trustworthy and the workers they sent were very unhelpful and unreliable. I heard this is not even really Sherwin Williams (I get paint from them) but just a bunch of people who do floors from off the street. Very scary to me when I have renters who they interact with. Maybe I am too small for them to care?

It is all between half to 75 off. At this point it is way cheaper than Ikea junk and better quality. I have a real hang up with patio furniture. It has to fit the space and I don't like real wood and I don't like glass and I don't like it when the chairs don't tuck under the table completely when not in use and I don't like it when you need cushions that you have to store in the winter to make them comfortable. I can never find exactly what I want - I didn't this time either - but at the prices they were giving this stuff away for I filled up my truck and went back twice. I put my new table and chairs together quick and it was painless. It makes such a big difference in enjoying my front patio and back balcony. My back balcony has rather tall railings - so I always wanted a bar height situation so I could look over the railing when seated - so now I have that. My geraniums hanging plants I like more than I ever could have thought. I can have a garden full of flowers but when I'm sitting in my living room or every time I walk through the front door these are what I focus on and constantly admire. I might put a few flower boxes in under the window. People in Germany do that often - I will have to build them myself as the exact fitment of them and size I obsess over. I will be back for a few fence posts and see if I can make that happen. Home Depot will have everything I need to do it.

[[ Kids Workshop Review ]]…read more Every 1st Saturday (or sometimes even more), Home Depot offers a Kids Workshop for free to build something which they list on their website. For October 2025 it was the Haunted Candy Box. It was our first time doing it so I wanted to give a detailed review and some things I noticed when I went. 1.) Workshop location is OUTSIDE of home depot on the right hand side. I attached a picture to show the location. 2.) Although you have to register on the website beforehand, the event is relatively chaotic and they do not check. I think they get a set amount of kits and they just hand it out until they run out. 3.) When we arrived at 9am, the event wasn't set-up and a bunch of parents with their kids were watching the setup. I don't think they finished until maybe around 9:15am (setting up tables, getting the materials, kits, etc.) 4.) No Aprons available which was a huge bummer. Not sure why the didn't have any. Maybe Home Depot does not ship these aprons in advance and it's whatever is left-over from previous events. 5.) The Tables themselves are pretty tall and I think 3-5 year olds may be able to work on them a bit easier. If your kid is on the smaller side or younger, they may not be able to reach the table. I've seen other parents bring their own miniature table so their kid can work on the craft. 6.) Some parents just showed up and took kits to work on it at home which is not a bad idea in case you don't want to do it there. Overall, I think it's not too bad for a free event but I wish they were more prepared for it. One employee was also very rude at the event we went to and seem annoyed we were asking questions like "Where is the apron?" or "Do you have anymore hammers or screwdrivers?". She would just answer "No" and that was it. Ironically the younger employees were nicer and went to get more tools for us which made her interaction even worse.

I've called about 5 or 6 times now, and it's always a long long wait before anyone picks up. Last time, someone answered, but she's talking to someone in front of her, who's arguing about something he bought. No matter how many times you say hello, she can't be bothered to attend to the customer on the phone which she, for some unknown reason, answered, even though she wasn't ready to speak to the customer. Why on earth would you answer the phone if you're still talking to someone else? The other day i was put on hold forever. It was obvious nobody was going to pick up so i finally hung up and called back. Then the same thing happened when that employee transferred me to appliances. I see they only have 2 stars even though they're paying yelp a monthly fee. That means they're REALLY bad!

Zaina was extremely helpful. She asked questions about firmness, configuration, fabric etc and we narrowed down the couch fairly fast. If I would have gone in by myself without help I would have been overwhelmed. Zaina made it seamless. She also reconfirmed my choices throughout the ordering process just to make sure everything was correct. Also I had multiple sales people come by and compliment me on various things. I don't know if that's something management asks the employees to do, but their compliments sounded sincere and every person I interacted with was super friendly. So this review is purely based on my initial experience. I'm hopeful that the rest of my experience turns out great and then I'll add an update to my review.

First, the quality of the sofa itself has been terrible. I purchased it only about **six months ago, and it is already falling apart**. For a piece of furniture that is essentially brand new, this is completely unacceptable. What has made the situation even worse is trying to get someone at Living Spaces to actually help me. I submitted a support ticket **over a week ago and still have not received a response**. Since then, I have repeatedly tried using their online chat, but I just keep going in circles with their AI agent. Today was more of the same. The AI agent told me, **"I'm connecting you to one of our human agents now who can assist you further with your warranty claim."** After waiting and trying to get assistance, I was then told that **all of their agents were busy, they were unable to assist me, and I should simply "try again later."** The problem is, **I HAVE been trying again.** I have repeatedly asked to speak with an actual person because I am getting nowhere, yet I continue to receive the same response with absolutely no resolution. At this point, I have a six-month-old sofa that is falling apart, an unanswered support ticket that has been sitting for more than a week, and an AI customer service system that repeatedly tells me to try again later because no human agents are available. This has been incredibly frustrating and unnecessarily time-consuming. Customers should not have to spend this much time chasing down a company simply to get assistance with a defective product. I have purchased from Living Spaces before, but after the poor quality of this sofa and the complete lack of customer support when something went wrong, **I will never purchase anything from Living Spaces again.**
