From concept to execution, I had a great experience and will purchase all future cakes from Soma. Stunning, delicious, great customer service, and a great appreciation for their customers. Thanks Soma and Hiroyo. Everyone asked me where did I get my cake from so expect some new customers :) I had a great birthday and my cake was a showstopper. I love a classic vanilla cake with butter cream and it was everything I could imagine. I'm not a big fan of fruit fillings, or an abundance of different flavors, so this cake reminded me why sometimes simplest is best. Already thinking of my next cake. Thank you!

11/10 -- The only custom cake vendor I'll ever use!…read more I have exclusively used Hudson Cakery for all of my custom cake needs since 2022, when I first worked with Jennifer and her team for my baby shower cake and cake pops. Four years and MANY celebrations later, they have become my go-to for every special occasion. We've now used Hudson Cakery for my twins' first, second, and third birthdays, as well as my husband's 40th birthday -- and I genuinely cannot imagine using anyone else! My experience with Jennifer and her team has been nothing short of amazing every single time. Communication is seamless, Jennifer is incredibly responsive and thorough, and she is always so helpful when I have questions or need guidance bringing an idea to life. The cake designs are absolutely unmatched. I typically share reference photos and a general creative vision, and Jennifer & her team always nail every detail and exceed my expectations. Of course, the cakes are also delicious. They offer such a great variety of cake flavors, fillings, and icings, and everything we've ordered has been a hit with both kids and adults. It's rare to find a bakery that delivers on both the artistry AND the taste, but Hudson Cakery truly does both. At this point, Hudson Cakery is a part of all of our biggest celebrations, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I would wholeheartedly recommend Jennifer and her team to anyone looking for a custom cake that is beautiful, unique, and absolutely delicious.

I was shocked that there's nearly 2000 reviews and I hadn't heard about it but definitely walked by several times. Upon entering, I immediately got school classroom vibes from the decor to the desks used as tables. We went with 3 cupcake options but they have more to choose from and even customizable ones. The Peach Cobbler Cupcake was the Winning Flavor on Food Network's Cupcake Wars! I can see why. The peach purée along with the brown sugar streusel was so good! The Blueberry Cheesecake Cupcake had a delicious cheesecake cream and the blueberries were tart and juicy. The Creme Brûlée Cupcake had a creamy custard and caramelized glaze on top which is exactly what you'd expect from creme brûlée. These cupcakes were some of the best I've ever had! All 3 were made with vanilla cake which I have to say was super moist, not too sweet, and tasted great. Next time, I would try their other cupcake bases or even do a TooGoodToGo order which would give you an even better deal on these!

I have had the honor of not only tasting Samatha's delicious cakes, cake pops, and cookies at my…read morebaby shower, but also of working with her prior to her starting her own business. Samantha is professional, sweet, charming, and super talented. For my baby shower, Samantha created a beautiful spread of Dulce De leche cake, cake pops and adorably decorated cookies (rattles, onsies, champagne glasses) for my baby shower in late February. All of which fit perfectly in the theme of twinkle twinkle little star mixed with she's about to pop theme. Through out the event guests asked me who made the cookies, cake, and cake pops because they were so good. The decoration was classy, elegant, and festive. In just one bite you can tell her ingredients are top notch. The cake and cake pops were unbelievably moist and had the perfect balance of sweetness. Yes, it's months later and I'm writing this review now. Motherhood has rushed over me like a stormy wave of physical and emotional intensity that has changed my life forever, but those cake pops and cake still float through my mind as a pleasantly sweet memory that I still smile to myself about.
