The orange roll was solid -- the soft and yeasty roll was the best part -- though for me the orange glaze was a little too sweet. That's how I usually feel about orange rolls though so if you really love them you'll probably like this one! The muffin remained remarkably moist and the pecans were so nice and toasty on top. I'm always looking for corn salsa at farmers markets, but I usually find black bean and corn salsa instead. I was excited to find actual corn salsa here, and it's delicious! I also picked up a lemon icebox pie, which was delicious, and pickled peaches. I love spiced peaches and pickled vegetables, but I had never heard of pickled peaches before, so of course I had to buy them! The store is clean and well-organized, including the restroom, which is always a nice bonus when you're stopping in while traveling. The cashier was super friendly and overheard us talking about their sign for the annual open house, which takes place the Friday and Saturday after Labor Day. She told us they'll have lots of sale items and free samples and recommended going on Friday when it's less crowded. I love a good local tip! If you enjoy unique jarred goodies, sweets, and Southern treats, this is definitely a place worth checking out!
