Donuts are decent. Coffee is awful. Other drinks are decent. Breakfast sandwiches are always stale.

Every person I've dealt with at this location has been pleasant and professional. Chloe was our server today. Kelley and Justin have also been great. I wanted to give my opinion on "Game Night" (the only reason NOT to give 5-stars today). When I go to Huddle House, I'm interested in... 1-good food... 2-peaceful conversation. Not "team building" games like a corporate HR meeting. I know the "game night" concept works in bars and Hooters, but I don't think the typical Huddle House customer is up for it. I don't blame the employees. They were just doing their job. Management should not expect them to "hype up" board games on the tired / after-work customers. I still enjoyed my visit, but this is a place for opinions, and that was mine... still the best "evening breakfast" in town.

The employees were all great, brought coffee fast, took our order as soon as we set our menus down. Had daily specials that came out fast, and the eggs were cooked perfectly for each of us. The hash browns were crispy, the bacon was crispy. After we finished eating the cook came by to make sure that we were happy with our meals and chatted for a few minutes. When we see Huddle House, we will definitely stop again.

She was incredibly kind, attentive, and made sure our drinks were never empty and the biscuits kept coming out hot and fresh. Even though the restaurant was busy, Lacey had a huge smile on her face the whole time and made us feel right at home. The food was classic comfort food perfection--the chicken fried steak and hashbrown casserole were incredible. If you visit this location, definitely ask to sit in Lacey's section. She truly went above and beyond. We will definitely be back!

After years of avoiding chain restaurants, we've become genuine Cracker Barrel fans -- and this…read morelocation reminded us exactly why. The menu strikes a great balance of consistent favorites and seasonal specials. We keep coming back for the meatloaf and mashed potatoes, which never disappoint, and we always look forward to the country fried turkey when it's on offer. Save room for dessert -- the chocolate cola cake and carrot cake are both outstanding. Breakfast is equally impressive, with a wide variety of solid options to start the day right. As RVers, we also appreciate that most Cracker Barrel locations welcome overnight parking, making it easy for us to enjoy a relaxed dinner and a great breakfast before hitting the road. The shop is a fun bonus too, with a nice range of seasonal and everyday items. Service at this location was excellent -- friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from the moment we walked in. Highly recommended whether you're passing through or a regular.

Service was very pleasant and friendly. While waiting for the food and beverage, a wander through the attached boutique was enjoyed. Lots of interesting stuff but none of it shouting "Buy me!" today. This review is specifically for the coffee snobs- for the people who know and love great coffee…read more First, the good: this place is super cute. There is a little bit of really great seating in the front. A big comfortable couch, a good selection of foods, and a cool vibe. It looks like the kind of place you'd want to come hang out for a bit, even though there's not a ton of seating. I did notice they had fresh wraps as a lunch option with a good selection of chips, and everything looked delicious. Second, the bad: The place doesn't smell like coffee. Mind you, I was only the second customer of the day. But you know when you walk into a great coffee shop, and the smell of good coffee hits you in the face? Yeah, they don't have this. Which means this... most people will like their coffee just fine (we had mochas, so that's really all I can speak to). It's a little sweet, but the flavor is fine. But my mocha doesn't taste like coffee. It tasted like hot chocolate. And it's disappointing to seek out (and pay $5 for) coffee that doesn't taste like coffee. A mocha should have primarily a coffee taste with the mocha second. Again, most people will like this place. But for those of you who really care about coffee, you might want to drive on into Birmingham and try your luck there.
