Great service, cute coffee shop and very friendly barista. My coffee was spot on. I would highly recommend this place if you're anywhere nearby!

Better than Starbucks. Lol. It's not as sweet as Starbucks. Also it's not as strong. But I'm sure that just depends on what you get. I love Starbucks but only get it once or twice a month when I go to Birmingham. After today I will be able to have my good coffee weekly. I actually would prefer lavish over Starbucks because I really don't like sweet. Just get the White Mocha with extra shots of expresso for 75 cents more. I will be posting the review on my YouTube channel Heather Renea soon.

Paid 5$ for ice. Probably, genuinely took 5 sips. Just going to make my own drinks at home from now on.

I am pleased to review Lavish Coffee Bar as it is Jasper's first official coffee bar! I work in town and have been left without a local coffee bar to go to for that past 3 years of working up here! They are a local small shop connected to the Lavish Boutique shop but nevertheless have a full coffee bar and that is just what this city needs! I have no doubt they will be a hit and have a great following to the local crowd.

Mmmm Lavish iced coffee with an extra shot of espresso!

I typically work in Birmingham but have a few cases in Jasper recently to where I need somewhere other than a restaurant or my car to review my work. Thank goodness for Lavish! From the moment I walked in the staff was helpful to my coffee decision. I ordered an iced Lavish coffee with an extra shot of espresso. It's pretty sweet, but totally yummy. They also offer great little bites to eat. The white chocolate raspberry scone... OMG- sooo tasty! Highly recommend getting that. The atmosphere is welcoming and there's several places to sit. The music is a little louder than what I'd like for a coffee joint, but great choices in station and artists. I'm thankful to have Lavish here in Jasper!

    Great Americano.

The closest thing in jasper to a Starbucks. Love this place. So happy to have businesses lile this popping up in our small town.

Enjoying the food menu. The pimento cheese sandwich (served hot) is delicious. Chicken salad could use fewer onions.

I like that there's inside and outside seating depending on your vibe. Be prepared to sit in either because they do get busy especially Saturday mornings (we stood in quite the line). The food is good. If I could do a 4.5 star I would simply because there was hair in our burrito, but that's on us for not mentioning it to management. It's worth mentioning that there's a park nearby if you do visit with your kiddos and need something to do after.

Even when the line is out the door, the service is efficient and genuinely kind. You can tell the baristas care about what they're doing, they weigh their coffee grounds precisely, time each espresso shot, and pay attention to every detail to make sure each drink comes out smooth and rich. They also offer alternative milks, which I really appreciate. The food is just as impressive. Nothing feels overly greasy, and everything tastes fresh. The biscuits are a customer favorite, but I personally love the eggs, sausage, toast, and fruit. The honey butter is especially outstanding and adds the perfect touch. One of the coolest parts is that it used to be a gas station, and the old pump area has been transformed into a covered patio with couches, perfect for relaxing and catching up with friends. I would easily give this place 5/5 stars and highly recommend it!

Though not the best of circumstances had brought me back to the city I call home, I was still me in that I needed to find somewhere (locally owned if possible) to get a cup of coffee. Yelp put this place at the top of the list and so I stopped in for a recharge. I returned a few hours later, with family, to actually sit down for a cup of coffee and a cranberry orange scone. Let me be clear when I state that I got out of the car expecting not just caffeine and something homemade, but the warm welcoming Southern hospitality that resides in Fayette. And I got a extra large helping of it when I entered. The ambiance was one of comfort, like seeing family during the holidays. The space is also larger than you would expect. Plenty of room to stretch out and converse. You might want to block out a few hours your first time, just to unwind. The team here had a smile on their face and a sense of pride in the business that is rarely seen these days. Quick, knowledgeable, and ready-to-serve they had our orders prepared in a short time. The scone and the coffee didn't last long, but you already assumed that. If I had not been so full from lunch there would have been a few more treats/slices of cake coming my way. But alas, I will have to wait till next time. If you live in the area, count your blessings that you have such a place and be sure to support it regularly. If you're traveling through, be sure to stop in even if only for a drink and pastry to take with you.

There is plenty of table and couch sitting in the front and back of the store, and the side of the street it is on gives it so much natural light to the front sitting area. - Coffee: The coffee was excellent, and there were a ton of flavor and mix options. I also give them extra props for the extra non coffee drink options they had. - Food: The store had several pastry and treat options, but they also had full meal options. I was excited to see that they had so many breakfast choices. As the shop was about to close, we tried mostly treats. Specifically we tried the cheese straws, strawberry cake pops and peach pound cake. I enjoyed the cake, but I think the cake pop was my absolute favorite of the three. - Prices: while some of the treats were a little expensive, most of the main drink and food options were on par to other coffee shops. - Staff: The three girls we spoke to were an absolute delight, and so pleasant. - Merch: The store had a few items such as t-shirts, candles and mugs available I give this shop a 4/5 's and will definitely be back. It is thankfully on my route from current home to my old hometown, so hopefully I will get to see them again soon.

The interior is decorated really nicely, kind of cool and funky vibes with a surprising amount of space available to hang out. Cute merchandise for sale too. I had a little bit of trouble finding the menu but eventually found it on a paper card placed somewhat inconspicuously near the register. I was only interested in coffee but they have a decent selection of cafe-type food and other beverages. They have seasonal specials and more standard, always-available house specials. I selected one of these and got a small iced Turtle latte, which had chocolate, caramel, and praline flavors. I thought service was a little standoffish and put-upon seeming, but I wouldn't say they were rude; just not super welcoming. My drink was made and served quickly and I got back on the road. The drink was good! Nice balance of ice to liquid and a yummy, sweet, rich turtle flavor. There was a slight artificially nutty aftertaste that I'd guess was the praline that I didn't love, but overall this was a solid drink that I'd probably order again. The staff still seemed irritable and not friendly, which again made us feel more like an inconvenience than customers. We had to ask multiple times about our drinks and food, which was frustrating. With the exposed bricks/ductwork, mismatched secondhand furniture, and a small selection of books, it does seem like a good spot to relax and chat with friends... Still, I'll be looking for a different coffee place next time! Somewhere the employees attitudes match the chill atmosphere.
