This place was my choice to grab a coffee from on my wait out of Cullman after a short visit. It was solid! The interior is decorated really nicely, kind of cool and funky vibes with a surprising amount of space available to hang out. Cute merchandise for sale too. I had a little bit of trouble finding the menu but eventually found it on a paper card placed somewhat inconspicuously near the register. I was only interested in coffee but they have a decent selection of cafe-type food and other beverages. They have seasonal specials and more standard, always-available house specials. I selected one of these and got a small iced Turtle latte, which had chocolate, caramel, and praline flavors. I thought service was a little standoffish and put-upon seeming, but I wouldn't say they were rude; just not super welcoming. My drink was made and served quickly and I got back on the road. The drink was good! Nice balance of ice to liquid and a yummy, sweet, rich turtle flavor. There was a slight artificially nutty aftertaste that I'd guess was the praline that I didn't love, but overall this was a solid drink that I'd probably order again. We decided to give Karma's Coffee another shot, but unfortunately, it was pretty much the same as before. The staff still seemed irritable and not friendly, which again made us feel more like an inconvenience than customers. We had to ask multiple times about our drinks and food, which was frustrating. Again, the HIGH prices... On the bright side, there's a nice bookish vibe that gives it that cozy feel. With the exposed bricks/ductwork, mismatched secondhand furniture, and a small selection of books, it does seem like a good spot to relax and chat with friends... Still, I'll be looking for a different coffee place next time! Somewhere the employees attitudes match the chill atmosphere. read more

We came for coffee and light breakfast on a Saturday morning on the way from Birmingham to Nashville. The interior is spacious and cozy (with lots of fun couches). It's also very family friendly with kids books and crayons. The coffee itself was delicious (we got the bottomless mug). The breakfast sandwich on a flaky homemade buttermilk biscuit was delightful and tasty. The broccoli and cheddar quiche was a great roadtrip breakfast - not too heavy but just filing enough. The lines do get longer around 10am so the early bird gets the worm! Don't worry the line moves quickly. They share a bathroom with other businesses in the building. The only downside is that there was no changing station in the men's restroom (only women's). read more

Wow. This was a mindblowing place for me that I had never been to. I'm from out of town so I didn't know about it but I went to grab a açaí bowl and wowzers. This place is super duper perfect vibe and layout and cleanliness. The bowl and the drink I had were honestly super delicious. My most favorite thing is always service more so than food and drinks and this one was honestly super high level. My sever was a serious wonderful guy that will absolutely end up being a manager leader in his life. This was a great place I stopped by and I will absolutely stop here anytime I'm ever around this town. read more

The decor and overall ambiance is nice. There was a guy playing a guitar in the back corner and it was kind of distracting with the music also playing inside. Thankfully, had earbuds to listen to my lectures to study with. The chai latte was probably one of the worst I have ever had. I'm not sure what concentrate they use, but I would not recommend if you are a true chai latte fan. Overall nice with plenty of seating, but I do not think it would be my first choice in the area. read more

Normal coffee house vibe with students studying and some mothers bringing in children for chocolate, frozen delights and cake pops. They serve breakfast and lunch here also...I ordered the white barbecue chicken bacon melt sandwich with a side of fresh fruit. Everything was delicious. The chicken was fresh, sliced chicken, not deli sliced meat. My fruit was fresh. I also ordered the strawberry bread which had an icing on it...it was more like an iced pound cake with strawberries in it...tasty. The servers were very friendly and helpful. A great place to study, work, or just hang out with friends. Since it was close to the afternoon already, I knew I couldn't have caffeine so I was happy to see a lot of non caffeinated drink options here. There were lots of chillers and smoothies here. I chose the cookies n creme chiller. It was basically a cookies n creme frappacino if I had to describe it. It was a little pricey though at a little over $8 after tax and tip. Good Karma must have been on our side today, allowing us to find Karma's Coffee House. When you first walk in they have a nice seating area (think friends - and no Phoebe wasn't on a stage singing). At the counter they have a large menu board that covers all of the drinks that they have to offer, as well as sandwich options. I was pretty quickly drawn to the smoothie area of the board. Only three to choose from, but the 4 berries sounded good to me, even though there was a little bit of confusion. I thought there were literally four berries, apparently it meant they used four berry types - strawberry - blueberry - blackberry - raspberry. Really a well put together smoothie that held it's thickness for longer than most smoothies are able to. My wife went for a coffee, don't remember which one she ended up with, there were several she was trying to decide between. We got there close to closing so they had already cleaned up/put the chairs up in the back area, but it looked like they had quite a bit of customer capacity space back in that area. Prices were good and the employees working were all really friendly and helpful. We will be returning here when we are back in the area again. read more

This was my first time at Karma's since moving to Cullman and let me say the seasonal Apple Pie Dirty Chai Iced Latte was 10/10! The barista suggested it and it did not disappoint. I also got the avocado toast with egg for breakfast and it was nothing special but was still delicious. Will definitely be going again! read more

This place really is a hidden gem in Cullman! They have prompt service so you can order ahead online and grab and go, or it has lots of cool coffeehouse hangout furniture to enjoy your beverage on. One day I had the caramel latte and the next I had the Yin Mocha (dark chocolate, yang is white chocolate and white chocolate sucks! ). The lady taking our order wasn't friendly and actually seemed annoyed to be doing her job. I spent $75 for four people for lunch. Stumbled upon this cute coffee shop as we were passing through town. If you have an opportunity to spend some time in Cullman - there are many cute shops and eateries and this place is a great spot for breakfast. Karma's offers a huge variety of drink items, hot and cold: coffees, teas, loose leaf, smoothies, juices and more! They also have a ton of really nice breakfast options. We opted for the breakfast sandwiches, one with sausage and one with bacon. They were nicely done and everything was scratch made, including the biscuits. It was tough to choose what to eat since they had so many options: açaí and chia bowls, quiche, and sausage balls, and a ton of bakery items (including gluten free items). I also purchased a cold brew with one pump of almond syrup and cream. I loved the small crushed ice that came in it. The coffee was strong and tasted great. The inside area offers lots of open space with tables for 2-4, some couch (lounge) seating and even a few kids tables with activities. The place nicely decorated with old brick walls, plants, deer heads with floral tiaras and other cute items to look at. The service was fair. The staff remained busy, so perhaps just not in a chatty mood. We tried to stir up some conversation about how cute the shop and the town is and the gal serving us seemed like she wasn't in the mood to chat, even though it wasn't super busy at that moment, so we moved on. I've never met such a rude young lady, my daughter came in for an interview and this dark haired lady told her that they weren't hiring. We got our coffee and right after that same woman was walking a girl my daughters age into the office for an interview with her mother. I've never been so disgusted with how someone has behaved to me. We use to love Karma's but we won't support such a horrible environment. I pray for the workers. read more

We're in town for an athletic event and Yelp lead us to Karma's. Amazing! Couldn't be happier. Stopped in for a pick-me-up one afternoon and came back for breakfast the following morning. The service and drinks are great. I recently discovered they make an amazing Dirty Chai Latte. I came in the other day after the ice storms for one but they were out if everything but the vanilla chai latte ( totally understandable as due to bad weather the delivery truck had not been able to arrive yet). I casually mentioned to the girl that I had just discovered their spiced dirty chai latte and was craving them. She offered to try and spice up the vanilla one for me and if I didn't like it she'd make me something else. I thought that was so thoughtful and great service and honestly the drink was amazing!
