There is plenty of outdoor seating and we caught the opening songs of a local acoustic set--when the weather is good, this place is sure to be packed!!! When you enter the building, there are plenty of local goods--soaps, snacks, beverages and etc to peruse. You order at the counter and the food is brought to your table. There is art throughout the building, so make sure to check it out. The food--oh the food--chefs kiss. My eggs were cooked to perfect, my latte was delicious (though not quite sweet enough), the bread pudding was decadent without being cloying. I'm fully obsessed and hope to visit every time I come to MD to see my family.

I also tried 2 additional dishes: Old Bay Crab Soup. Bread Pudding for dessert. Old Bay Crab Soup. The menu described it as crab broth with sherry wine, carrots, celery, onion, potatoes, backfin blue crab, Old Bay and scallions. I got it in a to-go cup, and it was served hot, but manageable. I was glad I tried it. For dessert, I got their Bread Pudding, described as baked in a rich custard, served warm over vanilla crème anglaise and finished with a three-berry compote. Since I got it to-go, all those extras were packaged separately from the pudding itself. I ended up having to look at someone else's posted picture of the end-product so that I could figure out what to pour on before what. It helped a lot and that was some good dessert.

When I finally did hear back, the tone came across as arrogant and dismissive, as if taking a customer's order was an inconvenience. Instead of clear communication, I was given excuse after excuse for why my order couldn't be taken--delivery issue (i don't understand why this was an issue for them at all, because i clearly stated that i can do on-site pickup), limited capacity, etc. If you don't want the business, just say so. Don't string customers along and waste their time. A bakery should be welcoming and professional. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. I won't be reaching out again.

I think this place is unique as alot of items are out on display and what's shown most of the time are what they will make. I think coming early enough before mid afternoon would be the best move if you wanted to try alot of sweets. Going inside the interior is small. There's like 1-3 tables but there's not much. They do have a touch screen you can technically order from but they rather would want you to ask them to ensure they have the item you want on hand; my friend ordered a pineapple bun and they were out for the day so he opted for something else. I got the fresh Strawberry Latte with Panna Cotta. It comes in a really cute glass bottle! The drink was a bit sweet but it was refreshing after a long day of walking around town and doing errands. I also got the Strawberry Bomb Cake! Now this surprised me for sure because I initially thought it was a type, but looking at it, the picture fits the description. The cake was really good! Bits of strawberry pieces with cake! It was a delightful dessert to eat. I will be back to try more items out. I do regret not getting the Hong Kong Style Tea!
