I so appreciate Pharmacist Khalid at Cajon Pharmacy in Redlands! I had been searching for nearly 1 month for my medication, but was nearly hopeless as the manufacturer is no longer making it. After many attempts at more than 43 places, I called Cajon Pharmacy and Khalid answered the phone. Even as I was explaining the difficulty I was having he was looking to his supplier and found it. What an efficient, caring, and knowledgeable pharmacist he is! He handled any difficulties with insurance, etc and was in continual contact with me to make sure I was taken care of and, better yet, felt assured of receiving the medication. :) A small business at its best. :) Thank you Khalid and Cajon Pharmacy. A reviewer here referred to the owner of this pharmacy as "kind". Truly not my experience. I had difficulty transferring my prescription from one pharmacy to another. The doctor sent my refills to Cajon, but I prefer mail order because they have auto refill. But the mail order pharmacy said I needed to contact Cajon to transfer it; Cajon said I needed to ask the other pharmacy to do it. And when I first called for help doing this, I was met with a short, angry toned person, who curtly hung up after telling me "I can't do that for you, you have to contact the pharmacy or have your doctor renew the prescription". So I didn't know how the process worked. Fine. But my conciliatory, even apologetic tone was met with a person with an impatient edge to it. I said "it's okay I'll keep filling it here" The saga continues. I called for a refill and the (nice, polite) woman on the phone told me the online pharmacy DID end up transferring it...BUT not in time so I needed a partial refill, and pay out of pocket. I dreaded calling back. I had to. I have epilepsy, and would have seizures without this medication. I was nothing but apologetic and polite. The guy let me have it. Telling me with an angry, unkind voice, with a real edge to it, talking down to me and telling me I wasn't being clear, and what did I want from him, "what do you want me to do?" I ended up almost crying when I hung up. I felt bad. I tried to let it go, and thought his unkindness would catch up to him...karma and all that I speculate that since all 3 of my epilepsy drugs are also to treat bipolars, maybe he looks down on "crazies"?Or he always talks down to women this way and he's sexist? It beats me. But I'm scared of his anger. My husband's aunt and uncle use this pharmacy, so I did. Never again. read more

I had a huge problem getting a prescription filled . I had a voucher from the pharmaceutical company to pay for most of my script. The Clerk at CVS said they had a union contract that said they don't have to deal with rebates and vouchers. I went to Walgreens and they said " no problem" but after 5 days said " yeah we're not going to do it " . Desperate a friend referred me to this pharmacy . Thank God ! The owner is so helpful , went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of. While I was waiting he knew the names of every single customer that walked in . His tech is adorable and one of the nicest people I've come across . Run , don't walk to this pharmacy if you need something. This is a throwback to the old days when people cared about their customers and took pride in doing their job well . As long as I'm alive any prescription I have will be filled at this pharmacy!! read more

We switched to Cajon Pharmacy a few years ago after meeting Kahled at our pediatricians office. He was kind and welcoming so I decided to try them out. I couldn't be happier!! Cajon pharmacy goes above and beyond for their customers and treat you like family. I've never had any trouble with our prescriptions. When I call for a refill they are filled quickly and I get a text when they are ready. If the doctors office needs to be contacted I am always kept up to date as to when I can expect to have my prescription filled. I was speaking with a coworker about a prescription I needed to drop off. She told me the medicines I was looking for were in high demand and that I shouldn't go to a big chain pharmacy. That's the same thing my doctor had said. She recommended this pharmacy. I spoke to Eliza and she gave me the fax number and told me to fax my insurance info. Eliza was really nice and efficient. I faxed in what she said and she called me when it was ready. My prescription was ready fast and when I came into the store, I received a friendly greeting. I have been going to Cajon Pharmacy for almost 2 years now and am so glad I found them. I had relocated from out of state and was used to going to CVS and Walgreens so I transferred my prescriptions to a local CVS and every time I went there I was frustrated and disgusted. No matter what time of day or night, there was always a long line and wait. And it would take hours and sometimes days to get my medications. I was reluctant to use Cajon Pharmacy at first only because the limited hours compared to the 24 hr CVS. After once again not being able to get my medication due to CVS being out, I decided to try Cajon Pharmacy and was so pleased I had Khalid transfer all my prescriptions there. I never again had to wait in a long line, I was always treated like I was their most important customer, and may times I would drive straight there from a doctor appointment and my meds would be ready for me. How nice is that?! I feel like Khalid and his staff are my good friends now. It's so nice to have a neighborhood pharmacy that knows you and truly is concerned with your well being. I've been with this pharmacy for a few years and all the staff have made getting prescriptions so easy. Always so friendly, and when they're working on something for you (insurance issue, medication unavailable, etc.), they keep you updated and they're fast. Going to CVS is a giant task, you wait in lines, and a few times I've put in a refill and they just didn't call me to tell they didn't have that medication available. So husband and I were seen at Beaver UC in Highland Ca. Hubby was diagnosed with the flu and was prescribed Tamiflu and Zofran for nausea. I was prescribed Amoxicillin for ear infection. The MD tells us,"good luck with finding tamiflu as there are so many pharmacies out of stock." We went to this pharmacy and was pleasantly surprised. Pharmacist was very nice and we did not have to wait very long at all. I recommend this pharmacy to all of Redlands. I plan on going back there again as other pharmacies I have to wait so long. What a night and day difference from CVS! I have been trying to get a prescription filled at CVS for the past week. I went into CVS on two different occasions and CVS still had not put in the order for my prescription...So I decided to take my business elsewhere. So I hopped on Yelp and found Cajon Pharmacy, as it was highly rated on yelp. Let me tell you, the customer service is fantastic! Khalid helped me and was super personable! It was like stepping back in time and visiting the mom and pop corner drug store that your grandparents went to. He took the time to ask a few questions about my day was and wanted to get to know me as a person. I came in before heading to work with the intention of dropping off my prescription and coming back to get pick it up. My doctor said that the rx is uncommon and usually has to be special ordered, which could take a few days. Well, what do you know...Cajon Pharmacy had the medication in stock! I was in and out within 10-15min. This includes registering me as a new customer AND filling my prescription! I HIGHLY recommend this pharmacy and will use them again in the future. read more
