Avoid this store! No respect for seniors (or any customer for that matter). No respect for…read morecustomers' time. This is a titan that is getting chipped away by the small little competitors. My experience this Sunday, May 3rd, in the afternoon: I am a senior citizen. I had two orders (using two different debit cards) on one cart with 21 items, four of them were peroxide duplicates, and several other items were duplicates too. I had to use two cards because one order was from my Nations Benefit Card. The Walmart girl told me to go into the self-checkout lines which were empty (at least 6 were open). The regular cash register girls were all busy. So I gladly pushed my cart to self checkout. As I was scanning, a chubby little young Hispanic girl with glasses stopped me and told me to go the cashier line because I had too many items. I told her that the first Walmart girl ushered me into self-checkout. She told me, "I don't care, those are the rules." Then I remarked politely that I have two orders on two cards with many duplicate items. I pointed the regular cash register manned machines that were all busy (!). She said, "I don't care, those are the rules. You need to go to the regular registers." I told her she had no discretion and that she was full of baloney. (She did not understand what the word "discretion" meant.) So rather than escalate this I put things back in my cart and went to the regular checkout. Then, a scruffy security thug shows up and I hear what was probably the head cashier (an older Walmart lady, presumably the area manager), yell, "Don't let them get away with that!" She was referring to me, as if I was doing something illegal. The bloated security guard was standing there like they were about to be robbed by me. (LOL). What an unprofessional joke this store is. Very poorly managed with the employees running the store like they are little kings and the customers are the enemy. Corporate seems to be oblivious to anything other than sticking it to the consumer. This is why most of us are going to Amazon and alternative stores like Grocery Outlet, Trader Joes, etc. More experiences: 1. Try buying anything in the cabinets in the personal care section. You will wait forever. It's a joke. And so will the others in the same queue in front of you. Walmart has insufficient staff to open the cabinets for customers. Waiting more than 2 minutes is inexcusable. I go to Trader Joes instead. Walmart corporate management too lost to realize that customers go to another store. 2. Try buying a bottle of liquor. It's the same problem. It's not a crime to buy liquor, apparently. Walmart has insufficient staff to open the cabinets for customers. Waiting more than 2 minutes is inexcusable. I go to Trader Joes instead. Walmart corporate management too lost to realize that customers go to another store. 3. Jewelry department. FORGET IT! You'll be there all day. A total joke. We go to Kohls instead. 4. Employees stocking left and right. So what is the problem mentioned in 2 and 3, above. 5. Receipts often do not match posted sale prices! Five cents here and there ads up to millions. 6. Auto department register. Forget it! Same issues. Where are the employees?! You will wait for ever. 7. This QR code crap and APP baloney is ridiculous. Give us a human. 8. Last time we checked out national language is English. This constant Spanish music broadcasted on the intercoms is so annoying. By the way, I am Hispanic! More and more of us are bailing from Walmart. You can see that morale there is very low. The prices are really not that great and many are higher than other stores. The hassles, time wasting, and humiliation are simply not worth it.

Avoid This Store's Online Pickup - Terrible Service and Broken System…read moreI am writing this regarding an online pickup order I scheduled for last night (Tuesday, August 11, 2026) with a designated window between 9:00 PM and 10:00 PM. I arrived in the parking lot at 9:51 PM--well within my paid time slot--but the app completely blocked me from checking in. I tried calling the store phone number multiple times, but nobody answered; the automated line eventually played a message claiming it was "too late to check in." Since I had already paid for my items and arrived during my official pickup window, I went to the pickup door and knocked on the window. An associate inside looked directly at me, held her finger up, got on her phone, walked out through a side door, and completely abandoned the post. I had to go inside the store to find assistance. Thankfully, a very kind employee from a completely different department stopped to help. She located my staged order in the backroom in seconds. However, when the original curbside associate returned, she refused to release it, giving me immense attitude and claiming, "It's too late, you can't get your stuff right now." Instead of resolving the issue, the shift supervisor came over with an equally hostile attitude, defending the associate's refusal to assist and making false assumptions about my arrival time. When I corrected him with the fact that I arrived at 9:51 PM and that their system blocked the check-in prematurely, both he and the associate refused to take accountability. The associate literally laughed in my face while the manager muttered unprofessional comments about my attitude under his breath as I walked away. The only saving grace was the helpful associate who stepped up, fetched my items, scanned them, and handed them to me politely--doing a job that wasn't even hers while the actual pickup team stood around making excuses. Management needs to review the footage/logs from last night around 9:50 PM-10:00 PM, fix the app's premature check-in cutoff, and retrain this curbside staff and shift supervisor on basic accountability, professionalism, and customer service.

Khalid Mahfouz, the owner of Cajon Pharmacy, is the most sexist man I have ever encountered and I worked in the auto industry for over 10 years. I wanted to support small business, but forget it, I'll work with the chain stores, like CVS. I have never been so disrespected in my life. I was yelled at, put down, told I wasn't worth anything, that I couldn't count and told I was a stupid woman. I was shorted a couple of Lunesta tablets, just 2 or 3, month after month. I was called an addict, told to never come back to his store and then told I was a "stupid woman who didn't don't how to count because I was on Medi-Cal/MediCare." Sorry for losing my leg, Khalid. Sorry for having PTSD and insomnia. I'm also sorry that I couldn't afford $600 per month for my old PPO plan. I'm sorry that you begged me to transfer all of my meds to your pharmacy...and I DID, because you said you would take better care of me that a corporation. I asked him if he would talk to my husband like this and he said..."No. Because he is a man." I couldn't even talk. He just kept getting louder and louder and more and more mean and disrespectful. I asked if I could just explain, and he said, "NO! You are an addict and you bring me bad business!" He also told me that he would give me the 3 tablets he shorted me, but to send my husband in because he didn't trust I could count to three. Yes, he said that. He is a terrible man. read more

I have lived in Redlands for 8 years and this is one of the worst pharmacies I've experienced. Khalid is the rudest man. He discriminates against people on medicare. He told me to take my business elsewhere because my insurance "sucks" and told me that he is losing business with me. I went into this pharmacy because it was convenient and I only lived on the next block. After I experienced this the first time last year I chalked it up to him having a bad day and took my business to CVS. I went into his pharmacy today because I was in severe pain and needed my meds asap and CVS was out. This is when He again told me to take my business elsewhere because I was wasting their time and he was losing money on me. I told him it wasn't my fault I was disabled and receive medicare and his reply was its not his fault either. He raised his voice at me and was very defensive when I specifically asked if He did not want me in his store because I receive medicare and he said yes and to take my business elsewhere. Everyone should know that he will greet you warmly until he finds out what insurance you have. This man should not be in this type of business. Every pharmacy should have professional caring staff. I will file a grievance against this place and want everyone to know of my experience. read more

Do you miss your "village" pharmacy from the old days? Here is the professional family business with the personal touch. Products are often cheaper than corporate stores, they stock items you sometimes can't find elsewhere, and they can do special orders. It feels like "my pharmacy" rather than just a logo. Always speedy, they put the customer in front of them at the counter before the customer who calls in on the phone. Our entire family depends on this family for all our health care prescriptions. They keep us in fine shape, always ready to address concerns and questions. We've been with them from day 1 when I saw the grand opening banner. There's always more room in this family, so visit soon. You may never return to the big guys again. read more

My regular pharmacist closed last year, and I switched over to Khalid at Cajon Pharmacy. This place is beyond quality! I pick up prescriptions monthly and have had some very specific needs recently. I recently had surgery and Khalid told me he would even home deliver if I needed the help. Khalid and his team have gone beyond standard into a category unmatched. Because of the surgery I was on a cane and had my father driving me to pick up my prescriptions. When I left, Khalid even walked me to the car and offered my dad and I a water. (Above and Beyond!) In my mind, there is no other pharmacy worth going to. This is the one, this is the time! Thank you Khalid! read more

Khalid and staff are awesome. I write this review in two-fold (personally & professionally). Personally I have had my prescriptions transferred to his establishment due to the lack of customer care, long wait lines, voicemail vs. real person and poor personal service rendered by Corporate Drug Store Chains... (no further comment necessary) Professionally, Khalid is always available to take our office calls and problem solve with our patients and their special needs (unique medications, supplies, rebates etc). Khalid is one of the remaining, free-standing, non-large corporate pharmacies... a true local business, with that true local feel. -Sandi Bentley read more
