It's just your standard postal office, friendly service and letter and package supplies. It's definitely not a secret cocktail bar, why do you ask?
Cahoots was one of our favorite experiences during our trip to London. My husband had found videos online and made a reservation for us weeks in advance- maybe even over a month in advance of our trip. I was a bit skeptical as social media tends to overhype themed establishments, but I was willing to give it a try.
The entrance itself is very cool, it's located under the train in a tunnel and the brick walls surrounding the doors are decorated. If you go in the evening the brightly lit "CAHOOTS" signage is hard to miss.
As you walk in there's a front desk that can take care of all your postal needs. Haved some packages to pick up? Let them check on that.
If you're lucky enough to make it into the main area (No, of course this isn't a secret cocktail bar), you're transported back in time to the days where penning a letter was normal and newspapers were a must to get the latest on the local happenings.
The music was amazing, the service was stellar and the vibes immaculate.
This is really a place that you need to experience yourself to fully understand, but I would go back again and again and again. It was so much fun!
My favorite drinks from the evening were the "When Life Gives You Maurice", a sharable drink and the "Suspicious Cargo". Although, the Air Mail was both delicious and a thrill to receive.
This would be a fubn spot for date night or to come with a group and definitely a spot I'd return to more than once to continue exploring the menu. It is a cocktail bar, so it's mostly drinks but they do offer a small selection of nibbles- I would plan for this to be a after dinner spot if you're looking to indulge or a quick one or two drink spot ahead of dinner to get the night rolling. read more
