Classic Avocado Savory Sweet Potato Waffle

I had their sweet potato waffle and it was super good! It's a nice savory sweet potato waffle topped with a poached egg, bacon, juicy tomato, avocado, and some greens. It was super filling and a great brunch. It was all gluten free and dairy free!

I love this place! It's good quality, healthy, cute, they play good music and it's a nice place to sit for a long time and do some work as they have free WiFi. Not to mention one of the only gluten free places in Paris with actually good food for reasonable prices and filling portions :)

Stumbled upon this place our first morning in Paris and were absolutely elated to see the majority of their menu was majority gluten free and/or vegan! The place itself is easy to find and the interior is very simple and cute. The girl working was very friendly, helpful and also happened to speak English which was very useful. We both ordered a custom waffle and were very satisfied with the amount, price and taste!

I walked in here on the first day I arrived to Paris. My brother in law wanted to eat at this café mareva and we did. The employees were very welcoming which was a relieve since we don't know a word of French! Anyway the menu items where limited, I ordered the English breakfast (pancake, bacon, and two fried eggs) the bacon and eggs where good but the pancake sucked! First of all they didn't serve it with syrup! And the pancake it self was so dry.. I wasn't impressed at all. Thank you for the kind customer service but the food wasn't for me :/

I stopped here twice during my stay in Paris. Everything was soooooo good!! The baked goods tasted amazing and the kale smoothie bowl was such a good reset after too much cheese But right now i just want the guacamole waffle, seriously the best waffle i've had in ages! And a big thank you to Mareva for being so welcoming and friendly!!

They were so nice & accommodating, the moment we stepped in they made us feel welcomed. Their food was delectable with many gluten free options. The homemade foie gras was delicious & it even came with gluten free bread! My husband enjoyed his tuna fish with leek tatin, black rice & tom yam coconut cream. My daughter enjoyed the pressed beef stew with roasted cauliflower, black olive, red wine jus. And I LOVED the beef butcher's cut with potatoes, beetroots and honey. The desserts were just as tasty. We got the caramelized pear with vanilla pastry cream, crumble and brioche & the gluten free chocolate lava cake with crunchy praline topping. Everything was so flavorful & beautifully presented. We were so full but extremely satisfied. If we stayed closer to this area we would have eaten there again! This is a must visit in Paris.

It shows the owner and the chef care about their food. It's a stark contrast to all the touristy traps in this area. On top of that, the prices are very reasonable. We got the set lunch for 19 euros and they were more than enough to power me for the rest of my tourist day ;)

The staff was all very friendly and inviting and were happy to recommend their favorite dishes to us. My wife ordered a French onion soup and one of their famously large salads, which are served in these big bowls. I decided to try the chef's special, which was a beef tenderloin a la rossini (truffle sauce and foie gras). I'm not typically a foie gras fan, but I figured since we're in Paris that I'd give it a shot. I'm very glad I did because it was absolutely delicious. The steak melded perfectly with the truffle sauce and fois gras. This was all served with potatoes au gratin, and blanched green beans. Everything was perfect. I also ordered two large beers. A Grimbergin blonde and a Kronenbourg ale. I love how both beers were served in their respective brand's glasses. Such a nice touch. For dessert, we ordered an Apple Tarte Tartin, upon a recommendation from one of the staff. It was light, sweet, and served with some ice cream and créme fraîce. This was such a great dinner all around. Great food, great vibes, which all lead to a great evening. Would definitely recommend!

I admit, I'm not very adventurous with food and don't care for traditional French food, so I had the grilled salmon, which was delicious. My husband, who does enjoy traditional French food, had the cassoulet with beans, sausage, and duck confit. He absolutely LOVED his meal and said it was probably the best meal he had while in Paris. And to complete our meal, we finished off with crème brûlée -- yum! [Yelp collections: Europe 2024; Paris, France]
