Super cute brunch restaurant in the 9th and conviently located only 2 min from our hotel. We arrived Tuesday morning at approx 9 am. It was early so there was only 1 other couple in the restaurant.
The server was super friendly and gave us an English menu. We wanted a lot of food so my husband and I both ordered the "Full Monty" for 19 eur each. It comes with coffee, juice (orange or juice of the day), baugette with butter and house made jam, your choice of carrot cake or banana pancakes, eggs done your way and finally salmon or bacon.
My husband and I got an allongé (Americano or long black), juice of the day, banana pancakes, scrambled eggs (caviar as they like to call it) and salmon. Everything was absolutely perfect. This was our favorite breakfast in Paris. The freshly squeezed juice was delicious, the house made jam was the best I've ever had (wish that I could take it home!), pancakes were super fluffy, eggs cooked perfectly and perfectly seasoned salmon.
By the time we were done our meal the restaurant became more busy. I would recommend arriving early as the place is very small to ensure that you get a seat. They also take reservations on their website.
It's hard to find a proper brunch spot in Paris but they are becoming more popular. Cafe Mimosa is my favorite spot. I would chose this over the other more popular ones in a heartbeat! read more
