Wow the slowest service ever! We just ordered some simple things to eat with our coffee and asked for water to start. First we had to ask 4 times to wipe our table. Literally had to ask over and over for the girl to finally say... oh I'm sorry I forgot. Second... they forgot our water and forgot to bring us our food! Lol What the heck?? Anyway finally got over it and just left. We paid for our coffee and they didn't even apologize.. nada. Just rude people working here. All of them! They just stared blank not knowing or noticing they were wrong. Anyway don't come here!

What a gem inside the airport in Amsterdam. We found this place during a connection in route to Dubai. The ambiance and decor was very luxurious. Comfy and spacious seats .. great to relax after a long flight. The tea was excellent and I really enjoyed my smoked salmon sandwich. Beautiful presentation and friendly staff.

Thanks to a frustrating last-minute flight change by KLM (...grrrr...), I was "gifted" an extra 4 hours at the busy Amsterdam Schiphol airport. The delay was a double "win" to discover Café Coco and the luxury to not stress over the restaurant's seriously sloooooooow service. While other travelers came and went (some never receiving service), my wife and I relaxed with coffee, chocolates, breakfast, and snacks. All of it was surprisingly delicious and memorable. Drinks we liked were a large Cafe Creme (5.50€), multiple cups of Cafe au Lait (5.15€), and a thick dessert-like Neuhaus Hot Chocolate (5.35€). The Chef's Starter Choice (35.50€) for 2 people is a tri-level tower of local classics that's probably more food and euros than desired at an airport; however, if you've got the time (like we did) and the appetite for exotic quality (like we always do), then I easily recommend the chef's tasting of starters including: * Lobster Tea: Small cups of warm yum * Bruschetta with Goat Cheese: Almost too rich * Trout, Mackerel, & Dutch Shrimps: Euro seafood * Prosciutto with Aspargus: Perfect marriage * Blini with Caviar: Our favorite The food was exquisite to eat (and photograph) while the drinks were energizing for weary globetrotters. Numerous fellow travelers were visibly exasperated with inattentive and disappearing service which is really the only reason this review isn't 5 stars. Otherwise, Café Coco was an outstanding discovery thanks to bonus hours of KLM-time to suffer at Schiphol airport.

I must admit I loved the Amsterdam airport with its convenience checking in, cleanliness and variety of options to dine. Cafe Coco doesn't look like it belongs to an airport, an upscale cafe with variety of food and drink choices, and very unique furnishings. Could sit here for hours and watch planes taking off and landing. Beware they don't have decaf coffee, so I settled for a pot of hot rooibos tea which was a great choice, specially with the surprise rose shaped chocolate served next to it. I had the seafood appetizer, and others had the sandwiches. The portions are small, so don't think of a full meal when checking in. It is best for a snack, tea, coffee or wine while waiting for your flight. Presentation and atmosphere makes this place unique.

Such a nice treat. May have to wait for seating. Excellent service. Suggest the tall chairs facing the window. Super comfy, didn't want to leave.

Came here for coffee and light desserts. Ended up getting the capicuno and macarons. Coffee tasted freshly brewed coffee beans. Macarons were slightly dry. I also asked for regular water on the side however that gave me some fancy water which I ended up paying for. Wasn't expecting that.

Wow! We loved this place and felt like we were visiting royalty in their oversized chairs being served on their beautiful china. We had lovely coffees, a cappuccino and a latte, as well as pastry. RRR had a plain (?) croissant with butter and jam, I had a croissant with Serrano ham and fig jam and very artfully created. You shouldn't miss this place if you have time.

This cute little café will instantly transport you out of the airport and into a special experience akin to a leisurely afternoon stop at a corner parisian bistro. Come here to slow down the frantic and stressful pace of traveling and enjoy a well made cappuccino (which, at least for me, came with a scrumptious dark chocolate truffle). I guess this is, at its core, a chocolate café after all. I wouldn't have guessed that based on the taste of the galette, though. It was some of the best food I've had in an airport anywhere. The arugula fresh, the sundries tomatoes on point, the goat cheese rich and generously portioned. Oh, and toasted PINE NUTS! And so reasonably priced too. I was thoroughly charmed. Perhaps my favorite thing about this place is the napkins, which say "Money may not buy happiness, but it can buy chocolate, which is kind of the same thing." HOW TRUE IS THAT?!

I had a two hour layover in the Amsterdam airport. I also had a few extra Euros to spend. Café Coco looked like a nice, relaxing place to pass the time until my next flight so I sat at a table and ordered the Deer Carpaccio off of the seasonal menu and a Pelligrino. The deer carpaccio was amazing. It was tender and flavorful. The carpaccio was topped with truffle oil, Parmesan cheese, and arugula. Each bite was perfection. If you have a layover in Terminal D, I highly recommend this spot.

Wow! This is unlike any airport cafe I've ever experienced, in all the best ways! It was a much-appreciated oasis in the midst of a loud, busy airport; the food and wine were delicious; and the service was great. I was there for an early lunch, and ordered the smoked salmon croissant. It was superb! They did not have the chenin blanc I had selected to go with it, so the server suggested an alternative white that was lovely. I wish I'd had a longer layover to allow me to try a tea or dessert; I'll definitely be back on future trips!

My flight from Rome to Amsterdam was delayed for an hour so I missed my connection flight from Amsterdam to Seattle and had to make a detour to Minneapolis since I had a few extra hours before my next flight I got to enjoy a delicious breakfast at Cafe Coco Schiphol at Amsterdam airport. Hot food, hot coffee, nice view. This delay wasn't too bad. .

One of the best place to get breakfast in Schipol hands down. It is in the corner away from all the bustle and is very quiet compared to other locations. I ordered the baked egg with salmon and latte macchiato. The egg comes out piping hot so be careful when you bite into it. The latte also comes out fairly hot as well but the foam on this one is just perfect! I have come here a handful of times and always make it a mission to come here if possible at all. Next time I may try Amsterdam bread co as it is just across the hall from this one.

Very nice place to chill out while waiting for your flight. Don't miss the Neuhaus Hot Chocolat which also comes with a delicious piece of Neuhaus praline chocolate. The quiche and pecan pie are delicious as well

A VERY lovely café in Amsterdam's Schiphol airport. I had a very proper English breakfast tea with milk. It was delicious and nicely served.

If you adore chocolate, you might consider a visit to the Fine Chocolate store Lounge 3 ;-)…read more The different chocolate brands they sell are considered the best in the world. I'm talking about Valrohna from France (which is the chocolate brand that gourmetchefs use in their deserts), actually its the purest and most honest chocolate in the world. Then there is Neuhaus from Belgium which tastes equally heavenly, but has a different character, and is also one of the highest quality chocolate brands in the world. And last but not least, Godiva from Belgium (also a very good chocolate) which is a bit sweeter and more creamy. Sometimes they sell a view different brands, like for instance... Ferrero, Lindt or Leonidas, but that is not always the case, I think that depends on the season. The ladies (and one or two gentlemen) really know their stuff, and are passioned about their chocolate. They know their brands inside out, offer high quality service, are very good in giving chocolate-advise and suggestions, have a great smile and make me feel like I am the queen herself :-) Yes, that is what I call, the million dollar-treatment :-D! They even walk around the counter and offer me my purchase as if it is a big diamond I bought for the ridiculous price of 10.000 euro's!!! But no!!!! It just is a little bag with chocolate inside!! That is the WAUW-factor for me, honestly. Soooo, if you get the chance to buy some chocolate for a loved one of yourself, give them a visit, and don't be surprised if you buy more than you bargained for. Have fun :-D
