I'm a fan of Cafe Breton, and this is surely the dessert place I have chosen many times over. I've tried so many of their dessert crepes (not the savory ones, though I know they must be good, but I always come here for dessert). My favorites are their flambé crepes, especially the Cherries Jubilee, which has bright red cherries and ice cream swirled around with flame once the waiter lights the crepe.
That evening, though, we decided to make our own crepe as there is an option on the menu to do so. Of course, first condition is that it would be a flambé crepe. Then we made a mango filling and asked the crepe to be topped with chocolate and vanilla ice cream. The waiter kindly recommended the best alcohol that would go with our crepe.
It was also my first time to taste their grape drink, a kind of slush, and it was good, with real grape bits in it. read more
