Awesome little local spot…read more Stopped by Lil Jungle Java for the first time this morning around 6:20am with our pup, Nobu, and honestly couldn't have had a better experience. I'm pretty sure the owner was helping us out, and both ladies working were super nice and welcoming. Since it was our first time there, they actually gave us our drinks on the house, which was really cool and definitely not something you expect. We got the iced banana bread latte and it was really good. What I liked most was just the vibe of the place. It feels like a legit local small business with a lot of charm, and you can tell they actually care about their customers. Everyone was just genuinely friendly, which is refreshing. We live nearby and will definitely be coming back and supporting this place. Great coffee, great people, and a cool little local spot. Glad we found it!

Thankfully, a trip and a bunch of recommendations from the center's shop led me to finally try it out and I'm SO glad I did! Michael at the truck is a wealth of coffee knowledge who helped me select a beautifully boxed bag of beans to take home and brew. Being the only coffee drinker in my home, he assured me Coffee Snob is a fool proof brew and also sold me on the beans being a natural roast. I was even more surprised when he told me my purchase came with a free drink right then and there, so I went with another recommendation of his and the staff, and tried their iced decaf (since it was 5pm after all and he said the decaf could actually be better than regular) with tiramisu cold foam (the pro shop workers said I couldn't go wrong with their tiramisu cold foam - that is if you like tiramisu). I do, and it was AMAZING. At first sip, my reaction was "whoa" and my son commented to my fam that night, "mommy got a REALLY good cup of coffee today. I think that was her favorite part of today." :) I hosted a breakfast two days later where I served their Coffee Snob via French press and Michael was right. It was so smooth and delicious. With an array of creamers offered, most everyone enjoyed it black. I've also brewed it with a single pour over since then, and it's just as good. I reported my appreciation to the the truck last weekend and asked for another recommendation to try, and had a hot lemon loaf flat white and it too was amazing. It's something I would never even think or know how to make, so it truly was a treat. I spend a lot of my time after work in the car and I know I'm not alone. IYKYK. It's become the running joke in my family that my new favorite day to drive is Tuesday because of the coffee. I drive a "latte". This is not a lie nor am I a paid sponsor. To say that I'm SO happy this gem of a truck popped up on my weekly mom-mobile route is an understatement. The fact that it's convenient and supporting a local business, all bonuses.

I had the iced pistachio latte and got a cheese danish and a cinnamon croissant. The danish and coffee were tasty. The cinnamon croissant has cinnamon on the top with a regular croissant middle. While not knowing what to expect on it, I think I'll pass on the cinnamon croissant next time. My friend had a scone which he enjoyed. Service wise, they were quick and friendly which is always a good way to start the day. If you see their truck you should stop by!

The guy helping the customers ahead of me took his time answering their questions and making sure their orders were right, and he gave me the same attention when it was my turn. I ordered a black Americano. It took maybe five minutes, which was a little longer than I expected, but they were also helping another customer at the same time. He added just the right amount of ice to get it to the temperature I wanted on the first try, and even offered to add more hot water if it wasn't perfect. Took a sip -- perfect temperature, and the coffee tasted great. I normally like Peet's, and this was honestly right on par with what I get there, except it was about a dollar cheaper. Obviously it's inside Sprouts, so you're not getting the full coffee-shop atmosphere, but if you just want a really good cup of coffee on the go, this is a great option. I love the people at the Peet's right across the way, but for coffee this good at a lower price, I'll definitely be coming back.
