Flyers for shows are usually out 3-4 weeks beforehand so you have time to plan. The only other downside is that it is somewhat pricey , at $20 a ticket (pay at the door), but they provide food and beverage. If you been looking for an intimate space that hosts underground jazz musicians from across the country, keep an eye out on Calhoun St. for a flyer and stop by The Loft Society. I threw caution to the wind and ordered one as well! So did my date. And we were so glad we did. Perfect ending to a perfect night. We had hoped to valet park here, but Covid did away with that. They did assure us they were planning to bring it back, as well as expand the building in the near future. It was both cozy and packed, but we lucked into two bar seats. They don't have much food, just some pre-packaged chips and such but some of the chips were from China with pretty odd flavors, so that was kind of fun to give a try.
