This visit, I got their "Grinch." It was matcha based and delicious. For my Ma, I ordered a vanilla chai with almond milk. I was asked if I wanted to add a tip to the card I provided to pay. The baristas here are always friendly and expertly follow safety guidelines when interacting with customers. You are encouraged to pay with a card but cash is still accepted. When you do pay, they will hand the card machine to you for processing the transaction or your cash after properly preparing your drink order. Common Grounds has been getting very creative with their promotional menu as of late. There is now an expanded selection of their monthly drink specials and some of them are low-carb or Keto-friendly for those on a diet. It may seem irrelevant at this point since a lot of us feel the need to gorge ourselves especially when we are confined to the house most of the time. I myself am guilty of doing that based on some of the pics I've posted from restaurants I ordered from during my lunch break. However, I haven't completely lost focus on maintaining body weight especially trying to stay active when sitting around the house a lot of the time. There have been times that when I go to order, they already have my drink made while I was standing in line! This generation of baristas is stellar! They ask me about my weekend, they ask about my son and my husband, they're kind and efficient. The reason I decided to try this location again was because I was tired of unpredictable opening times of other locations on my way to work. I can always depend on getting coffee here! I am just really happy to have a close by coffee shop! Yay!
