Red Velvet Cookie Sandwich with Oreo Ice Cream

Caffeine is one of the quick serve options, located on the Lobby floor of Ocean Resort and Casino. It is open 24/7 and accepts the hotel discount or comps. The coffee is okay, but is the only option until Starbucks or Harpers opens at 7am. The quick serve snacks seem okay, but the highlight to me is the desserts! The ice cream freezer rotates through items so each time we visit we can enjoy something new and different. And the carrot cake is delicious-large enough for two!

Open 24 hours a day. They offer sweet and savory items for sale. They also serve Lavazza coffee which is pretty good. The area is super clean and the staff is amazing! The staff here is always keeping the area clean and well stocked. They are all super nice and friendly and excel in customer service. Whoever mentored the staff should get a raise. It's always quite refreshing to see a group of people who take their job seriously. Well done Ocean!

Breakfast/cafe @Ocean casino, we had ham & cheese croissant sandwich with black coffee and it was delicious. The line was long but as soon as you order, you will get your coffee and number stand and a staff will bring you the food where you are seated. There were ample seating and after breakfast, we went out the door outside to stall the park and look at the ocean.

Really good coffee and incredible looking desserts (we were too full to indulge). Super clean - super nice employees. Im keeping this place in mind for a tasty treat next trip!

I appreciate this place being 24 hours. Everything looks delicious and the price is expected from a nice hotel like this. Since I am a fan of Oreos, I got an Oreo cheesecake and cupcake. The cupcake was so basic, even I thought I could make a better one myself. Do not bother paying $6 for a cupcake that's no better than the one at your local grocery store. It is bigger than most cupcakes, but don't let the pretty picture deceive you. The cheesecake on the other hand, was delightful. Probably better than the Cheesecake Factory! However I wish my slice was bigger. This is a great place for sweets with exceptional service. Lots of places to sit and dine.

I love that the cafe is 24 hours. There are a good amount of options to select in regards to breakfast sandwiches but I saw no bacon. Maybe it was sold out ? I got my food within a good time frame and I was greeted immediately when I walked up to the glass just to view the food options.

Cute quick service cafe located on the lobby floor of the Ocean Resort. This was much needed as previously there was a tiny coffee and baked good shop that did not accommodate the number of customers every morning. The goods are fresh although the coffee needs improvement...the free coffee on the casino floor is much better. Sandwiches, pastries, salads, fruit are available 24 hours a day and the prices aren't horrendous given it is a casino location.

Coffee and a breakfast sandwich? No problem. Decently quick order inline and wait at your table service. Open 24 hours and no waiting.

The only option you've got at 3 am when you're hungry after partying at Ocean Resorts. Open 24 hours, friendly staff. Huge sitting area. Food is okay but pricey.

Seriously... never waited for anything and constantly asked if we needed anything. Such a treat! You can tell that they pour their hearts into this! Just a lovely experience. Now, the food! Welp, this is it. The pancakes are wonderful and thin. You can get them stuffed with various things. Just the perfect crunch and taste. No battery thick middle! Get these! Also got eggs, fried bologna (highly recommend), scrapple, and delicious Turkey sausage. There wasn't one thing that wasn't good. No notes. The coffee is superior as well. Even asked for a cup to go. Just delicious. This place is a whole package. Go out of your way to get here!! You will NOT be disappointed!!! The prices are absolutely reasonable for the quality and quantity. Would go again and again and again!!!

We finally tried the Borgata Buffet and honestly I do not understand some of the bad reviews…read more Yes it is a casino buffet so the price is higher at around 43 per person, but there are definitely ways to get it comped or discounted, and for the quality you are getting it actually feels worth it. The variety is great and everything we tried tasted fresh and well made. Nothing felt like it had been sitting too long and the staff was constantly maintaining the stations. The service really stood out. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and very attentive without being overbearing. The staff working the buffet line were also all really nice and genuinely seemed happy to be there which makes such a difference. Food wise there were a lot of standouts. The chargrilled steak had a really nice flavor and the prime rib was super tender and juicy. The pastas were cooked perfectly and the sauces were light, bright, and flavorful instead of heavy. The mac and cheese is an absolute must. They use big shell noodles with a creamy cheese sauce and toasted breadcrumbs on top which gives it great texture. The collard greens were surprisingly one of our favorite things and we went back for seconds. So much flavor. The spiced shrimp is a hidden gem and definitely something we grabbed multiple times. The pizza was also surprisingly good. We tried the mushroom and spinach and it honestly tasted like something you would get from a really solid pizza spot not a buffet. The only thing I would say is the chicken parm is hit or miss depending on how fresh it is. If it has been sitting it can get a little soggy so I would try to grab it when a fresh tray comes out. Pro tip leave room for dessert. The dessert section is incredible. The gelato was rich and creamy especially the chocolate. The croissant cinnamon roll hybrid was flaky on the outside with a soft gooey center and the cookies and cream cheesecake was rich without being too heavy. I also really liked how the seating is set up. You can sit on either side of the buffet and choose between booths or tables which makes it feel a little less chaotic. This is definitely a spot we will keep coming back to when we are at Borgata.

A pretty solid buffet considering there aren't many buffet options in the area!…read more Sushi - dry and tasted fake Seafood - all of their fishes were the highlight of the offerings! The carving station had a salmon larger than I've ever seen too. Also appreciate that they offer a spiced version of the cocktail shrimp. Huge compliments on all of the sauces they offer to go along with your food (steak sauce, au jus, melted butter, etc.).

There were so many tempting options to choose from! I went with the 7 oz sirloin steak and eggs. It was decent, but nothing special. The steak was cooked medium instead of medium rare, and it lacked seasoning. My friend ordered the hot jumbo biscuit with homemade sausage gravy and the pastrami Reuben, both excellent picks. The gravy was some of the best I've had, and the pastrami on the Reuben was tender and full of flavor. Our server may not have been the most personable, but she was prompt and made sure we were well taken care of. Pickup and delivery are both available. The menu is like your typical American diner, nothing crazy. Even though it was busy it seemed like the service was on the slower side. I got a sausage breakfast sandwich and my girlfriend got steak and eggs. Both of our entrees came with home fries. My sandwich was good; I feel like it's hard to mess up a standard breakfast sandwich. My girlfriend said her steak and eggs were decent too. The steak was a little overcooked but still seasoned well. I was not really a fan of their home fries and neither was my girlfriend. They were pretty dried out and not that flavorful. Prices are average. Food is average. I wouldn't say the place is dirty, but it didn't seem particularly clean. The decor and furnishing definitely looks dated. Nothing really wowed me, but it was good. I wouldn't mind going back.

Caesars Atlantic City felt deserted, and Tazza Cafe was the last light left burning. It sits in the lobby like an airport quick service stand that learned a few big words and decided it was sophisticated. The desserts and sandwiches on display looked wonderful, the kind of food you might photograph before reality sets in. The glass case promised a feast for the eyes and a famine for the soul. I ordered a meatball sandwich on toasted ciabatta, a small bag of chips, and a soda. The total was just shy of thirty dollars, which made me nostalgic for a time when that kind of money could buy you hope. The meatballs were dense and flavorless, like someone had wrung all the joy out of them. The sauce was red and nothing more. The bread was there, technically, but it felt like a prop. Each bite filled me up while emptying something else inside me. The two employees behind the counter seemed deeply committed to doing as little as possible. Taking my order was an inconvenience. Serving it was a punishment. They moved with the urgency of people who had already decided that nothing really matters, and perhaps they were right. Tazza Cafe might be fine for a coffee or a pastry. The coffee smelled decent, even at 6 PM. The cakes and pastries looked lovely and harmless. But for anything more substantial, for anything meant to feel like dinner, it is a place best remembered as the only option when there are no options left.
