Great whole in the wall bakery. Friendly staff and great Jersey donuts. The chocolate or vanilla covered cinnamon roles are worth a try. The angel creams are perfection. The glazed can compete with the best. The jelly filled is stuffed and hits your cheeks with delicious raspberry. The apple fritters are choc full of chunks of apple and glazed perfect. Called around to a bunch of bakeries for a special order pie. Minos told me no problem, they could do it -- had more than 24 hours notice. They call me an hour before I'm to leave for the function and leave me a VM that "oops, we forgot to make your pie." No offer of anything, no serious apology for placing me in a very unpleasant situation. And my phone call to a manager went unanswered and unreturned. Will NEVER patronize again. read more

This bakery is THE place to get the best apple fritters I've ever had. They are always fresh, huge, glazed to perfection, and have real chunks of apples in them! I also like that they never taste oily or greasy. These are a tremendous treat and I'm seriously drooling just thinking about them. They are a must try! read more

I'm not impressed with the customer service at all in this bakery. I've been there twice. The first time I got a few donuts, which were decently OK, but equal to the quality of Wawa's significantly cheaper donuts just a few blocks away. Anyway, the first time I could barely get the cashier's attention away from her phone to get the donuts. The second time I arrived a minute or two before close, the front door was OPEN, but she said they were closed and wouldn't budge. Did I mention the door was OPEN and I was onsite earlier than their advertised 4pm closing time? That's just lazy customer service and not at all hungry for post-pandemic business. I won't be going back. Wawa does have a much bigger donut selection and costs less by a lot. read more

Lived here 5 years and just found this bakery recently. I ordered a strawberry shortcake and it was the most delicious cake I have ever eaten in my life, so just by the looks of it, I ordered another cake for next month! Freda, the person that served me was so professional and courteous, even to someone that kept her on phone a long time! Went first thing in the morning but pastries were at least a day old. They were dry and flavorless. Customer service was reluctant.

I was able to order a cool cake with a photo on it with only one day's notice and the cake was delicious. Everyone loved it. On another occasion I was able to walk in and pick up a couple of last minute birthday cakes. They had plenty available and the cakes were really good. The sponge and frosting were perfect. Nothing super fancy but perfect if you're looking for a tasty cake without too much fuss. They were able to write on the cakes to personalize them as well. read more

The bakery was very accommodating and the cake was done on time and decorated how I asked. And the cake was good--there just wasn't much of it. They said they slice their sheet cake to put a layer of frosting inside, but I thought that would be too much, so I chose a round cake. It was not the usual 2-layer round I've gotten at any other bakery. It looks like it was one layer of cake, originally, but it was sliced into three slim layers with LOTS of frosting in between. And I like frosting. But this was way too much. If you like frosting, this is your place. But I probably won't order from here again. read more

I was shocked. I used them before, but things went terribly wrong this time. Beware of their customer service. This is what happened: I ordered and payed for the cake over the phone. The cake did not look as they promised. I did NOT take the cake. The cashier did not refund me and neither the manager. After few phone calls to the facility asking for my money back, I gave up. I placed my order for a 10" round strawberry Shortcake on a Thursday afternoon, and with the help of John at the Pleasantville location I was able to pick it up on Saturday around 2pm. I wanted to do something nice for my sister's birthday/bachelorette weekend, so I decided to go with what they were famous for, and they did not disappoint! It was delicious, light & fresh, and he was able to make the hot pink frosting/black icing look awesome even though it was a whipped rather than buttercream. I placed the order at their Pleasantville location and was able to pick it up at their AC location with ease. The girls at pickup were friendly and courteous. Highly recommended! read more

It is a smaller bakery with a limited selection of things to buy. I was disappointed to see no brownies. Their powered jelly donut was ok. The donut part was great and tasted dike it should and was fresh , but they use really cheap jelly inside. I was less impressed with the carrot cake, it seems so hard to find a bakery that really knows how to make this. I would not go out of my way to revisit. read more

The cake was perfect and a smash hit - it was very appreciated by the recipient - they even took it to their family Thanksgiving celebration to show it off.
