Ordered my thanksgiving deserts from Sasscer's this year. Home run ! The pumpkin cheesecake was heavenly. The coconut custard pie was also a big hit with everyone. My go to favorite here is the bagged chocolate chip cookies. They are thin and crispy just the way I like them. Give Sasscer's a try you won't regret it. Alas, we savaged the cheesecake beyond being photogenic soon after we dug in, so no pictures. They had such a nice spread of cheesecake options. The staff were super nice and helpful. We ended up with the Oreo, Strawberry-Banana, and Ricotta cheesecake slices. Across the board, the cheesecake slices had a beautiful, fluffy texture and creaminess. Half of us really liked the Oreo cheesecake which I felt was a bit sweet. I thought the Ricotta was really delicious and classic. I wouldn't have minded just a bit of lemon zest though. The Strawberry-Banana was more banana than strawberry but really tasty. Overall, really, really good cheesecake. Would totally come back in the future! read more

Your trip to the Shore can include plenty of mouthwatering meals... as long as you know where to look! Sasscer's is a quaint shop that every foodie should add to their bucket list. Lisa offers a wide variety of sweet and savory desserts. I've tried a little bit of everything including the orange creamsicle cheesecake, blueberry cheesecake, scones, carrot cake, key lime pie and the crispy chocolate chip cookies (the most addictive!) Not only do the desserts look good, but they taste even better. On top of all of that, the staff is so kind and welcoming. You can tell just by walking in that baking holds a special place in Lisa's heart. Can't wait to come back! read more

They have a very high variety of gourmet cheesecakes. I have to say I've had a few of them from the black bottom, blueberry and the famous apple pie cheesecake. Absolutely amazing. Don't think they have a flavor that would let you down. read more

I got a slice of strawberry banana cheesecake. It was a very large piece but I tasted hardly any strawberry flavor and no banana.

Really wanted to taste a great cheesecake so ran over there. It is a very good cheesecake. Does not need the whipped creme put on top. Love the graham cracker crust rather than a dough crust. But.... If you ( As we were ) are hoping for a very rich New York cheesecake. This is not your cake. Sorry. Really like these people. Forget to mention. They have a freshly baked bread that is SPECTACULAR. Relatively new bakery to the area. They specialize in cheesecakes, but also offer a variety of breads and other treats. The cakes are fresh, delicious and the staff is very friendly. I recommend this place to everyone, even if you aren't a big fan of cheesecake! The owner, Lisa,goes out of her way to help customers! I will be coming here forever! read more
