    Chocolate blackberry latte

The chocolate blueberry latte was delightful. I paired it with the sausage breakfast sandwich. Cute indoor seating. Fun and helpful baristas. I wanted to try all the sweets but restrained myself. Soothing instrumental music. Not a place for long term work. No outlets and the seating is NOT conducive for long periods. But a nice quiet place for lunch before returning to the office.

This is such a cute coffee shop, albeit a bit loud with only 3 tables secluded for a little quieter of a spot. However, the coffee is good. The staff is nice. And the cookies are not to be missed.

Another perfect trip to this little slice of heaven cafe! This was a busy Saturday morning, and as this cafe never fails to do....had our delicious lattes and food ready in about 15 minutes despite the crowd! I opted for a seasonal latte, I believe was churro and added almond milk- oh that was deliciously cinnamon! My dear friend went for a white chocolate concoction, which the name has been forgotten (forgive me!). She said it was just divine with the decent chocolate and espresso marrying into a delight! Our bakery choices included a wonderful baked apple muffin and pumpkin cream cheese cookie. The muffin was moist soft and lovely! The baked apple slices are delicious inside! The pumpkin cookie was so-so, we Loved the cookie itself- did not care for the hard cream cheese bits inside of the cookie. It was not suttle and was actually hard to chew. Perhaps a tweak would make this cookie a showstopper! Pain au chocolat is always good! My daughter orders it without fail everytime because of the crispy outside and decent chocolate inside. Until next time!

I had a Keto sausage & egg sandwich with baconproof coffee. This tree covered drink is not that, but I don't remember what my friend ordered! Anyway, there's vegetarian and keto options and I'm here for it. I'm definitely coming back!

Delicious pastries but an unreasonably long wait. Ordered two to go and waited 35-40 minutes while others were served first. Disorganized service, though the pastries were excellent.

Loved the pumpkin bourbon caramel latte beautiful latte art that made me hesitate to drink it! The cinnamon roll was tasty, and the staff was super kind and friendly.

Sunday morning French croissant and specialty coffees warm romantic feel. Small business doing it right with a smile.

I love the decor of the location, and it has seating inside and outside. The pastries are high end and the service is great. It is worth my 45 minute drive. Especially when they have Ube cookies. You can get. Whole meal with a sandwich or just do a coffee and a pastry. You can't go wrong. Make sure you try those Ube cookies before they sell out. If they are gone just make sure you come again.

Lovely little cafe. Wonderful pastries and breakfast sandwiches. Beats Starbucks hands down

Out of towner in for a hockey tourney. Glad we stopped in here, it was within walking distance from the hotel we are at (Hampton Inn). A lot of available parking as it looks like it's located in a plaza with other businesses and housing. Inside has enough space if you want to sit and enjoy a breakfast and the service was fast enough to just order and go. We sat and enjoyed it. I got a cappuccino. Excellent to see a place finally do it right! My wife got a latte with a pikachu in the foam, much to the enjoyment of my 9 year old son. The croissant we shared was great. Fluffy and loaded with chocolate. We are only in town for a few days but I hope to stop in again. Highly recommend!

Atmosphere is cute and fun, service is quick and helpful too. The food is very good as well as the lattes. The art on the drinks makes this place so fun and I love getting to see something new every time I come in.

We decided to enjoy a Friday afternoon treat at The Chief Creamery in Granger. We have been here…read morebefore but it's been a while, so there was some news items I didn't remember from my prior trip. We were greeted nicely as we came in, and we're happy to see it was not overly busy as we know it can be! We had someone who needed No sugar added ice cream and she was happy to know there was 2-3 options available. She chose moose tracks and loved it! She said it was of course not as good as the "real deal" in her words but delicious and creamy in its own right. My 13 year old had her go-to chocolate, which was gigantic! I had a little taste and it was creamy and sweet! I chose the espresso/coffee house flavor of the day: it was magic! Chocolate pieces and rich espresso flavor was amazing! They gentlemen working the counter were very friendly and polite and the facility felt very clean and welcoming with big wood tables for large groups. I liked that they had a coffee house/sandwich shop added which I did not remember from before. I will have to return and try a grilled cheese panini sometime . I highly recommend the chief for a delicious weekend treat with the family!

My wife got the Peanut Butter Oreo. Did I make a huge mistake? Yes. Yes, I did. The mint chocolate chip is delicious and all, but they nailed it with the PB Oreo. I had a borderline existential crisis right there. What had I done with my life? How many times have I overlooked the PB Oreo? Who is Kafkaesque? I don't know him. In case you're not picking up what I'm putting down--the PB Oreo is the way to go. Now that I live in Kansas, this place is all the more special to me. Whether this one or the one on Lincoln Ave--they know what's up. The Chief is a staple for the Michiana area. The service. The people. The flavors. Yes, please.

Our second visit to Brasserie 23 was Valentine's Day brunch. We arrived on time for our reservation…read moreand were promptly seated. Our server Sean was attentive and helpful. The restaurant is clean and attractive. I had the Croque Madame, which was literally perfect, and better than those I had in Paris. The bread was perfectly toasted, the cheese perfectly melted, the egg perfectly cooked (not runny, not overly hard), the ham perfectly salted. Others in my group enjoyed the Short Ribs Benedict, Grand Bebe, and Tortilla de Patatas. (I'll note our first visit was the morning after a Notre Dame home game, and their stores were depleted: we could have anything on the menu as long as it was chicken. :) The chicken dishes we had that visit were very well done as well - moist and juicy on the inside and lovely on the outside. Obviously we came back, just not after a home game!)

Onion Soup Gratinee - $11 - Needed salt and wasn't very flavorful. 2/5 stars. Chorizo and Shrimp - $22 - This was easily the best dish. Cooked well, good flavor, and a decent portion (probably because the price is so high). 4/5 stars. Chicken and Leek Puff Pastry - $26 - The pastry was lacking. It was soggy, weird taste to it, and just not pleasant. The filling was also mediocre. Don't get this. 0/5 stars. L'Entrecote de Paris (Steak Frites) - $45 - The steak was chewy, the fries were over salted. For $45, this was not enough steak, whatsoever. Not like it was a good cut either. It's a rip off. 0/5 stars. Pan Roasted Duck Breast - $36 - My mom and I both ordered this, and we could combine both of our dishes to make ONE duck breast. Portion was horribly small. Never have I ever been given HALF a duck breast. The sauce wasn't good either and it was broken. 2/5 stars cause the rest of it was cooked fine. The birthday dessert was a scoop of ice cream and some stale cinnamon pastry thing. This was wildly bad. If the flavors were on point, the prices would be understandable. But the flavors were bad, the prices are expensive, and we waited a very long time to get our food. We couldn't get into a different restaurant that night (it was a Saturday night on move in weekend), but this one we could get into, and now we know why. Don't go here.
