I recently spent a week in Yuma with my boyfriend and this was one of the places we went on my first day there. I had the corchata - and I'm still thinking about it weeks later! He had an Americano. The patio is also beautiful. A great place for us to sit there and think about how attractive the other one is. ;) I did not have any food unfortunately, but I'm sure it's delicious. We got our drinks very quickly even though it was busy (my boyfriend said he normally doesn't go there on the weekends). While visiting my mother who lives in the area, she raved about Cafecito as her favorite coffee shop in Yuma. Given that my background is interior decorating, furniture, and space design, she knew I'd instantly be drawn into this creative space that makes up Cafecito. Bright colors fill the coffee shop from the walls to the furniture. Splashes of local artist and artwork are found along the walls and several areas that allow people to gather or have solo time. Communal tables are placed indoors and along the exterior outdoor space, which is ideal for designing a space, as it allows users to choose their style to enjoy their time. The space really pulls in the elements of the soil and seems promising to the community in the long run. The staff was friendly, and the various drinks I had daily helped wake me up every morning during my visit. My personal favorite was the Corchata, which comes with a small cookie inside (maybe, as I wasn't sure what was at the bottom of my coffee cup, yet I'm assuming it was a cookie). The avocado toast comes with balsamic vinegar, chia seed, goat cheese, tomatoes, black and white sesame seeds on a multigrain bread toasted. Overall, I was impressed with the space and I totally need to get a shirt and hat next time I'm in town! The Staff might make food and beverages but I personally believe that their wages are earned for Shining BRIGHT as YUMANS who genuinely love what they do! Bravo for making every time I've come to Cafecito memorable. The thought to include a collection of National Geographic Topical Hard Bound Books on the shelf was a stroke of Genius!!!! The other two collections on that same shelf are as well precious finds. Please don't make old ladies and men stoop and topple over to find what suits us on any given day! Great reading.... To our surprise, was a farmers market adjacent with vendors also on the patio. The patio was awesome, very lively. S/o to the DJ. Most importantly , the coffee was delicious. Has plenty of seating inside and out. Everything we had was delicious. My favorite was the banana TOAST that is flamenco with touch at the table. You should try it, especially for those fans of sweet and banana anything. Service was quick, a little confused at first, but realized we order, pay and go find a seat. Im happy it wasn't busy or yet full inside. When we left, the inside was 100% taken. Definitivamente a must visit for something good, not far of the main 8 highway. read more

What a delightful gem of a place! Stopped on our way thru Yuma ( to be honest we were looking for a restroom- so asked Yelp for the best coffee shop in town). So glad we stopped! There is a beautiful courtyard and multiple smaller sitting rooms throughout the building where people were hanging out with friends, books and drinks. I got a corchata (sort of what happens when horchata and coffee meet). It was a little sweet for my taste but that could have been anticipated. I would have loved to have spent a few hours there, and will definitely stop there every time I'm making the drive to CA from AZ. Such a special place. read more

Absolutely adore this place! We were visiting family in Yuma for the weekend and my cousin recommended we come here--and I'm so glad we did. For starters, the place itself is gorgeous. It's like a little desert oasis: there is a huge outdoor area with an assortment of un/covered seating surrounded by beautiful plants. It is pretty dreamy. There is lots of southwestern/Mexican art and decor that brings so much richness to the space. The inside too--there is the main area where you order, but down the hall are two different sitting rooms that are just as epically cultivated. I told my husband that I would love to just live in here! Okay so now the coffee itself. It's just as good as this place looks. The baristas are all super friendly and helpful, and the coffee drinks are delicious. I enjoyed the Chai Me Please and my husband liked the Corchata! Note that if you want a traditional dirty chai, ask for it with espresso as they use cold brew in theirs. They also have non-dairy milk alternatives, including gluten free oat milk. And they're bites are so tasty! They have toasts and açaí bowls as well as muffins. The acai bowls are dairy free without nut butter and they are gluten free including the granola! Additionally the toasts can be made gluten and dairy free by subbing the bread for a rice cake, something I've never thought to do but is actually super yummy. We came every day that we were here because it was too good not to! Come earlier to avoid the crowd and heat but anytime will be worth it! read more

In Yuma for a weekend with friends...skipped the free breakfast/coffee with hopes of finding elevated coffee and perhaps a small treat. In addition to the stellar reviews, I was delighted by the decor and outdoor ambience therefore my expectations were pretty high. Usually when a place is this busy and popular it's a good sign of things to come. I was wrong. The only reason I am giving three stars is for the space itself and one sweet employee. I ordered the Horchata coffee to go and an apple empanada. We gobbled the empanada, they get their Mexican Pastries elsewhere so I can't give them credit for food. It got even busier while we waited, line was way out the door of tiny entry way/lobby. My drink came but it was in a glass, had to wait a few minutes to get someone's attention to put it in to go cup. Guy with the absolutely worst flat affect I have ever seen poured it into a to go cup and handed it back to me as if I made the mistake. At this point my expectations for a great coffee experience was astronomically high but alas the drink was awful. Barely any flavor, coffee was weak, presentation was unremarkable. I might have been better off chugging down the hotel swill. Not sure if it was just an off morning or what but the star of the show should have been the coffee and it turned out to be the not made in house empanada and the decor. I will have to try another coffee venue when in or passing through Yuma in the future. read more

We were looking to try a new "mom and pop" coffee shop while we were in Yuma and we came across Cafecito. We ordered an Horchata Cafecito and a Mocha Cafecito. They were both really good but we liked the Mocha a little better. The service was great, the staff was very friendly and even though they were busy the wait wasn't too bad. The ambiance was so nice! I loved the layout which had separate rooms to hang out it. The decor was beautiful, and the outside seating area was beautiful! I highly recommend trying Cafecito. read more

10/10 desert gem. If you're looking for a coffee spot in Yuma, this is it. We were passing through and in need of a pick-me-up. Cafecito delivered with delicious specialty coffees, snacks, and vibes. I ordered the Corchata (cold brew with horchata) and my mom ordered an iced latte. The Corchata was sweet but not too sweet with the perfect sprinkle of cinnamon. Dangerously delicious, I could have had two. My mom also said her latte was so good she could have had two. We walked around their gorgeous patio and admired the cactus gardens and blooming plumeria. It seemed like everyone ordered food except for us, and after seeing the fourth plate of brûléed banana toast, I knew I needed one.
