    maple latte and vanilla latte

Such a cute and cozy cafe - the service was fantastic and coffee had great flavor. There is a large indoor space and patio seating. We asked the barista to adjust our sweetness and it was perfect. The vanilla latte really stood out because of the fragrant vanilla bean taste!

I visited with my wife and son after walking the Heritage Trail. We tried the iced coffee, cappuccino, and a donut with hot chocolate. All were enjoyable. We'll definitely be back for the coffee.

This has to be one of my favorite coffee shops. Even though it is a little but expensive but it is definitely worth the money. I got a small coffee that had hints of watermelon and fruity notes, and wow, it's actually really on point. My wife decided to get a peanut butter Smoothie, and her drink was very delicious. We both decided to get two cookies. I got the chocolate, and she got the chocolate chip with sea salt, and wow, the cookies were very delicious. The service was great and they were all very nice there. The inside of the place was very relaxing. I would highly recommend coming here and giving this place a try.

I am a devoted fan of this cafe. They make the best scone in the Hudson Valley and they know how to brew a reliably yummy cup of Java. Today I tried their new cardamom bun and it threw me to the moon with one bite. Yum!!! Run (don't walk) up there asap and get one before I eat them all. Also, the service has never been better; the staff is tight and trained. Still a lovely experience.

Cafe Yen is a neighborhood gem. Their coffee is very good and they also have nice options for lunch - salads, sandwiches and smoothies. It is a nice sized space and features a lovely sitting area outside. I find the atmosphere to be very tranquil and a nice cafe to relax or work!

It wasn't overly crowded, but I looked around I saw a lot of leftover food from the people who ate and left. Some came in waiting to served then left after being ignored or not noticed. First off It was as if the servers couldn't understand who was supposed to clean the tables? The Service was painfully slow, but it was morning so they may have had a lot of takeout orders or shorthanded? Most of the breakfast meals came with home fries and the three orders we had each of the fries were ice cold and eggs overcooked. Orders had arrived out of order and the simple things such as toast, which was part of the breakfast orders either came as we were finishing the meal or didn't come at all. I was looking forward to a good experience like I had the 1st time but me and my family were disappointed. At least the coffee was drinkable...but we had to work to get the server's attention each time we wanted a refill. They really need to do better....

Omelette was tasty, but nothing special. Presentation was super cute though! Inside was clean and cute. Not many tables, so there may be a wait depending on how busy it is when you come. They offered two little slips to each customer - one for a savory crepe and one for a sweet and you can build you own. Great concept but it would be beneficial if the server confirmed the order because we asked for nutella, banana, strawberry, and ice cream and got 2/4. We were in a rush to leave so forgot to check the receipt to see if we were charged for the others; however it was $48 (w/o tip) for 1 panini, 1 crepe and 1 latte so a bit overpriced for the quality of food, in my opinion. The sandwich and crepe were both just okay, nothing to rave about. The drink was aesthetically pleasing with the iced Bear and tasted great. We asked for whipped cream on the latte but our server forgot that too. She also forgot to provide us water until we asked and it came at the end of the meal.  Outside dining was not optimal as it's right next to the railroad tracks and quite loud. There is a kids play area which I thought was a nice addition to the space, but I do wish it was gated off for the younger kids as it's so close to the road! Overall, I found that it was a bit overrated and underwhelming... there are so many restaurants to choose from in the area that I wouldn't opt to come back here.

There's many other coffee shops around town, but nobody can make the coffees like they do, their employees are some of the nicest people you'll meet. They will even deliver your food to you at your table like a restaurant. If you're ever unsure about what to get that's okay because they have the most accommodating people to help. I came here almost every day to study for my online schooling and always got so much work done, I even graduated online here! It's always the place to be!
