Cafe con Leche is located in the American Eat Co. food hall. The location opened promptly 8 am. An employee of Cafe con Leche greeted my co-workers and I with positive vibes. I immediately ordered a 16 oz Cafe con Leche, however the location was out of their house coffee. I was disappointed to say the least, but I was given multiple recommendations for other menu items to try. I ended up trying the Cubano Latte, which was flavorsome. It's definitely worth trying. The ambience of the location is chill. I love the colors and the display of the business. I absolutely plan to visit this location again the next time that I am in Tucson. I have to try the Cafe con Leche; it's a thing for me.

I chatted with the owner Seth who is passionate about his beans. I enjoyed the taste even without cream. I asked for him to grind the Guatemala coffee that I bought for a friend. He gladly complied. He removed a few bad beans as he poured the bag of beans into the grinder and grabbed another handful of beans to replace the beans he took out. I hope to sample more of his coffee.

It is located in the dense downtown and parking can be an issue, but coming downtown means exploring and that makes this a good spot to visit. Love the food, people and location.

Since we are unfailingly friendly customers, as so many servers are, & because there were only 6 other customers at your coffee shop at the time, sharing our experience is warranted. We visited the Main Gate shop just after noon on Saturday, 4/18. The barista was wearing a cap & O'Neill-branded t-shirt; he has a salt & pepper beard. Requesting my cappuccino in a ceramic cup, he stated, with obvious exasperation, "You can just say 'for here'." He was also visibly irritated when we requested 3 Dirty Chais of various sizes & shot strength, as if this request was overly complicated. We would have ordered food, but he was so unwelcoming we did not. Nor did we linger. We have visited this location other times and have only been treated warmly. Clearly this barista does not represent the customer service your employees normally provide. You can train people to make a good coffee. Training them to be pleasant is more complicated & best documented. Hence, this review. An unpleasant experience like this has no place in Tucson. It's not who we are & it's not who you are either, I know. We hope this gentleman finds another line of work soon

There is a 5 inch step to get into the shop for wheel chair users to consider. But evidently they have a side entrance ramp to help out. After that there are ramps to the rest of the shop including to the restroom. It has a beautiful look with beamed ceilings and a large coffee bar. The walks are old red brick that is very cool, "warehouse looking". I was able to charge my phone sitting at a perimeter bar. They have one outside table for two but inside have bars, tables, couches and high tops. I ordered an iced Americano with cold foam and a chocolate chunk cookie. Both were good. There was not much selection of baked items when I was there in the afternoon. There are two unmarked restrooms so just pick one I guess. The workers were helpful but did not wish to be included in the review. The company promotes they are community owned. As I understand this they are incorporated and selling shares to the public. On a different scale Tesla is community owned because it sells shares to the world. Cartel sold the shares through crowdfunding rather than traditional IPO so you won't find it on NYSE and it would be less liquid in my opinion. This makes it more "community " I suppose. I'll pass on "ownership" but I think this is a good place to grab a coffee.
