More dirty tables than clean ones to choose from, staff watching football games, ordered the fajita salad with chicken- received a salad with no meat or avocado- when the waitress finally checked on us I asked for chicken and avocado on the side she was nice enough - then I heard her argue with the staff wether avocado was a listed menu ingredient (it was) no drink refills- soup came out after entrees. 3pm on a Saturday. would not recommend- any of the fast food places around have to be better than this place. read more

I'm gluten free and it can be so hard finding good food while road tripping. I got their chicken beach club sandwich. To go! It was so good. The chicken was well seasoned and juicy!! They toasted the bun which is key to making gluten free decent! They're ranch was delicious. My order was supposed to take 15mins and was ready in 8mins! We haven't been in a while, being from Owosso, but it crossed my mind how good their food was, so I talked my guys into doing take out from there tonight. To say the food is good I'd doing it a disservice!!! The food was AMAZING!!! We each got a sandwich, can't remember what my husband got, my son got a turkey with tater tots, and I got the Philly Steak wrap with tots, but because of my food allergies, I had to order it special, and they were SO GREAT about accommodating me!!! I also got my son the giant pretzel, to which his eyes grew big, and he said "Mom, you HAVE to eat some, it's HUGE! LOL!" I'd say that's a sparkling review!!! Sitting down to eat my sandwich, and it was SO creamy and cheesy and PERFECT!!!! I could eat this twice a day- because I only eat twice lol- EVERY DAY!!!! THANKS YOU GUYS FOR EVERYTHING! I've always drove past this place undecided to stop in and check it out. It looked very nice on the inside and they had a decent menu. We shared a California grilled chicken sandwich and some cheesy bread. It wasn't until halfway through eating the sandwich that something was off. It was raw and one of us got very sick later that night. I shouldnt have to check my food when going out to eat, and the fact that the cook did not even quality inspect the chicken sandwich that was cut in half is quite worrying. our food was mediocre at best. chicken wings were tiny. asked if if like sour cream and salsa for my wet burrito. then was charged for it. They need to do something about the smell. We always have a good time there excellent waitresses and staff, but it smells so strong of old oil you go home and have to immediately put your clothes in the wash and shower everything smells like old oil. It's so awful had a hard time staying that long. Please do something about that it's disgusting. read more

I had never been to the Cafe Sports before, but it was highly so I thought I'd try it. After a long day at work Charlie's and Cafe Sports are the only two restaurants in Perry, MI open after 10pm. I decided on Cafe Sports. As I walked in and sat down, the waitress rudely came over and expressed that the kitchen was closed and they could only do "fried" food. According to the hours they are supposed to be open until 11pm. It was 10pm. Being hungry I order Moz sticks. Which were good. However, the waitress was extremely rude as were the other staff members. Not to mention the Heavy Metal music that was playing extremely loud. I will not be returning. read more

Met my sister for lunch here on a Saturday. At 11:30 am I was surprised to see it was almost full, but did get a table. The wait staff was attentive. I ordered a beer and a quesadilla and the food came fast, and I have no complaints. My sister liked her salad. We went to Cafe Sports during a road trip. The food was really good and the service was excellent. The chicken Caesar wrap had warm moist chicken with a savory dressing inside. The Philly cheesesteak had a lot of flavor and was cooked to perfection. While ambiance was not great (typical sports bar), the food and service made up for it. I don't understand why this place is so busy. It is 50 cent wing night, but the drinks are very weak. A friend ordered a 3 wise men and it did not fill a standard shot glass. The food was okay. However it took a very long time for the waitress to take our order. I drank jack and coke. This has been my standard drink for years. This was the weakest i ever had. They only charge $3.50 for mixed drinks, i would much prefer a $5 stronger drink. Between the very slow service, weak drinks, and mediocre food, i would not choose to come here again. read more

I have been a big supporter of Café Sports in Owosso. Our area needs a place like this. I patronize this establishment at least one or twice a month. The service at this place has steadily gone down but tonight has convinced me that there is a serious problem here. It started fine. I ordered a gyro and my wife ordered a burrito. My gyro came out first . The waitress informed us that the burrito fell on the ground out of the oven and they were making a new one. No problem, mistakes happen. No more than 3 minutes later, my wife has another burrito brought to the table. The plate is cold and the inside is no better. The shredded cheese hs not melted due to the burrito being so cold. We informed our waitress and she apologized. Our burrito was sent back. After 45 minutes, my wife had still not received her food. I, at that point, informed the waitress to take the burrito off the bill as we were tires of waiting and ready to leave. Approximately five minutes later, a burrito comes out in a Styrofoam box. The waitress apologized profusely, knowing we were upset at this point. She had the "bar manager" come over to the table to see if she can take the burrito off the bill. The manager came to our table and asked what the problem was. We informed her that the first burrito fell to the floor, the second was stone cold and the third took over 45 minutes to arrive. The manager proceeded to berate us saying that there was no way that the burrito was cold. She stated that it goes through a 500 degree oven so therefore it is impossible. I asked her if she was calling me a liar and she stated that it was impossible for it to be cold. At this point I asked her to ask the waitress who agreed from the beginning that it was cold. She refused and again said it was impossible. I was so upset at this point, I threw the bill to her and said for her to run my card and we will leave and never be back. Her response was that she didn't need our money and walked away. We walked out without even taking the re cooked burrito. I have heard that there will be new owners soon. I hope they seriously look at who is running this place. They have lost one of their biggest supporters. I, nor my family, will never be back. read more
