Unfortunately, when it came out, I thought it was way too greasy to be served. It was almost as if the hashbrowns hadn't had time to drain from the oil. If you're hung over, it might be a quick fix back to life but for somebody just trying to grab a meal it was a little disappointing. The chocolate chip cookie at the checkout counter was dank though.

I'd maybe order it to go but don't think I'd sit for a chat - see below. Food: Standard coffee shop fare. Served in to go containers (not sure where the photos of plated food came from but that was not my experience). Not sure if it rotates. Fries were well salted but a bit overcooked. Burger was well salted but not noteworthy. Egg sandwich was meh. For my money I'd hit the Map Room or LP Street Food for a meal. Now, for the bad part. It was dirtyyyyy. I ran a damp napkin over the table and it came up brown. Honestly I think we left it cleaner than when we arrived. Floors were dirty and I don't really want to think too much about the bathroom.... I can't recommend this place for food but the coffee was pretty good.

5/5 stars for our drive-thru experience on 06/11/22. The female employee working was so friendly…read more--- I think she really likes her job! We had to wait a little bit for our drink, despite no one being in front of us in line. Perhaps because this location on Edgewood Rd. offers indoor and outdoor dining and they were busier inside. While waiting, the same employee asked us if we wanted a pup cup for our dog, as she saw him sitting in the backseat. He wasn't sure about it at first, but when we got home he decided to he wanted to eat every last bit and proceeded to carry the cup around. :) Scooter's offers an array of things from beverages to food. I'm not very adventurous and there are a lot of options, so I order the same thing every time. I'm a tipper and they have a tip box outside the drive-thru window. I also look forward to the sticker on my cup -- a neat touch they add to every order. This Scooter's is easy to get in and out of. Big parking lot because of its location in a strip mall. The drive-thru is nice and wide.

Worst experience ever. Wanted a hot mocha and a warmed up chocolate muffin. They said they couldn't…read morewarm up the muffin because it would make it too runny. I told her that was perfect but still she wouldn't do it. Then when I went to grab my mocha off the counter the kid making the drinks didn't know which drink was which on the counter. He pointed to the one that he thought may be a mocha. I took a sip and it was less than luke warm. When I asked him to warm it up he acted super annoyed and tossed out the entire drink and made a new one. The second mocha didn't taste like it had any chocolate in it whatsoever. I asked if they could add more chocolate and his response was "I made it correctly". I then asked for a refund because I was over it completely at this point. The girl up front didn't know how to do it. Another kid came up and said he would fix my drink while I could still see and hear the first rude kid in the back complaining that he made it correctly. This was my first and last time that I will ever go to a Scooters!!!

It feels like you are eating in someone's home. It is also surrounded by little shops that we meandered through after our meal. Despite having a strong uniqueness factor, the actually food itself was nothing special. My wife went for standard breakfast fare (eggs, bacon, home-style potatoes, and toast) and I went with a chicken caesar wrap with chicken and wild rice soup. We could have easily made the same food if we ate at home. I'm glad we gave this place a try, but we probably wouldn't go out of our way to come here again.

1 star. I can deal…read morewith mediocre food. What I can't deal with is being treated with unkindness and disrespect, especially by someone who appeared to be in a leadership position. My daughter and I had an extremely disappointing experience at Morning Story in Marion. When we arrived, the woman who appeared to be in charge was extremely short and dismissive. She told us, "Give me a minute," and when she asked if a high top was OK, she would not make eye contact with either my daughter or me. I also witnessed her being rude and dismissive toward several other customers. The food was mediocre at best. My daughter's eggs were plated directly on top of her strawberry whipped cream French toast, which made the dish look completely unappetizing. There was also way too much old, frozen-tasting fruit mixed in with the fresh fruit. The texture was so soft and squishy that it made all of the fruit taste bad. What made the experience worse was that she checked on the tables around us multiple times but never once checked on us or made eye contact with us. The only reason we stayed was because our server, Rae, was kind, respectful, and attentive. Rae checked on us multiple times and was the one bright spot in an otherwise terrible experience. We didn't speak up because, by that point, all I wanted to do was pay for my overpriced meal and leave. With the way the economy is right now, I'm willing to overlook a lot when I spend money going out to eat. What I'm not willing to accept is being treated unkindly or disrespectfully, or allowing my child to be treated that way. That was the most disappointing and disheartening part of this experience.
