5/5 stars for our drive-thru experience on 06/11/22. The female employee working was so friendly --- I think she really likes her job! We had to wait a little bit for our drink, despite no one being in front of us in line. Perhaps because this location on Edgewood Rd. offers indoor and outdoor dining and they were busier inside. While waiting, the same employee asked us if we wanted a pup cup for our dog, as she saw him sitting in the backseat. He wasn't sure about it at first, but when we got home he decided to he wanted to eat every last bit and proceeded to carry the cup around. :) Scooter's offers an array of things from beverages to food. I'm not very adventurous and there are a lot of options, so I order the same thing every time. I'm a tipper and they have a tip box outside the drive-thru window. I also look forward to the sticker on my cup -- a neat touch they add to every order. This Scooter's is easy to get in and out of. Big parking lot because of its location in a strip mall. Worst experience ever. Wanted a hot mocha and a warmed up chocolate muffin. They said they couldn't warm up the muffin because it would make it too runny. I told her that was perfect but still she wouldn't do it. Then when I went to grab my mocha off the counter the kid making the drinks didn't know which drink was which on the counter. He pointed to the one that he thought may be a mocha. I took a sip and it was less than luke warm. When I asked him to warm it up he acted super annoyed and tossed out the entire drink and made a new one. The second mocha didn't taste like it had any chocolate in it whatsoever. I asked if they could add more chocolate and his response was "I made it correctly". I then asked for a refund because I was over it completely at this point. The girl up front didn't know how to do it. Another kid came up and said he would fix my drink while I could still see and hear the first rude kid in the back complaining that he made it correctly. Lovely coffeeshop that's taken residence in the old "Coffeesmiths" location. Shares a similar layout and design, and it also is equipped with a drive-thru. Love coming here - in fact, I'll go out of my way just to hit up this coffeeshop. PROS: -Baristas have been nothing but pleasant on my multiple visits here. Even when they're clearly a bit busy, they've been friendly and had no problem ringing up my drinks. Their employees always seem to know what they're doing. -Drinks can occasionally take a little bit to receive, but they've always been up-front about the wait when there's going to be one. On one particular day, the barista let me know that there'd be a bit of a wait because all of the drive-thru had ordered drinks that required the blender - as did mine. So I always appreciate the head's up when things are just going to take a bit longer. -The drinks I order have always tasted the same. I've had some issues at other coffee shops with drinks tasting differently on occasion, but the drink I get here always seems to taste exactly as expected. Yay! -I'm in love with their Mounds Candy Bar drink. Granted, whether you'd consider it "coffee" is a bit on the debatable side, but it's perfectly coconut-tasting, downright delicious, and absolutely amazing. -Calorie information is listed on the menu for easy viewing. Yay for smaller businesses choosing to do this! -Lots of seating options here. Want a tall table? Done. Booth? Done. Table and chairs? Done. Comfy soft chairs? Done. Lots of variety for what you're looking for, and unlike some coffee places, the chairs and seating are nicely spaced out. It never feels crowded here. -Next-door to Orange Leaf. Not really the business's experience, but I love Orange Leaf. And coffee. So this is amazing. CONS: -Absolutely nothing. Getting off the road to make it to this coffee place can be a bit of a pain, but it's nothing worse than going off the road to the Starbucks across the street. read more

Excellent! My wife and I wish there was one in Michigan! I ordered the white mocha and my wife the caramelicious, oh my goodness! They were so good, my wife also got a cinnamon roll and I got a chocolate chip cookie. We really love this place! If you're in Iowa, get your coffee hear. read more

This scooters is probably the best scooters in town I love the atmosphere and the games and the Freewater. can't beat it!

There are a few things to go over here, and only one of them is good. Given that I have really only ever ordered one drink when I go there, its pretty hard to screw up. So here it goes. Pros: Peanut Butter Power is awesome. Joint is usually pretty clean. Cons: Baked goods are not made in house and are always stale or taste bland. Drinks are VERY expensive for what they are. I could literally make it the same way with the same ingredients at home for 1/4th the cost. Management doesnt seem to know what they are doing. Any of them. As I know a few people whom work there, we have a supervisor whom doesnt know how to create a schedule. Claiming the sales aren thigh enough to give people hours. Thats not your under-staff's problem, thats marketing's problem People are promoted to positions due to favoritism, not actual knowledge. Seems supervisors are only ever there in the mornings, and leave when they feel like it or have something they personally want to do. Under-staff seems disgruntled at the excuses, favoritism and lack of support from supervisors. Note: Rest assured if this review causes employees to be yelled at or disciplined in any way, I will hear about it and your establishment along with your franchise owner will be reported to the parent company for providing a hostile work environment. Went there this morning (Saturday) and let me tell u it was great. Coffee was Frosted Sugar Cookie and it was great. Had the Pumpkin Spice Muffin, Blueberry Muffin and they were to die for. U have to try this place. Plus, service was great. read more

Delicious coffee, COOKIE DOUGH and the cleanest (and best smelling) bathrooms in all of CR (I'm serious)... Prices are a little too high (more expensive than Starbucks) and it's always freezing inside, so bring a jacket! read more

I've been here twice. First time I was given a suggestion on a coffee which I really did not like. Almost to the point of not being able to drink it! The best part was the drink was a whopping 7.50!! The next visit I was careful not to get duped into spending so much. I was not sure what I wanted and the woman behind the counter seemed frustrated with having to answer questions and there was a lot of sighing. They could work on A few things. read more

Having loved everything about the Coffeesmiths that was here before Scooter's took over I was really excited to check out the new menu and see what type of improvements Scooter's would bring to the table. Unfortunately my first experience was so horrible that I don't think I will be going back anytime soon. I ordered a chai latte with one pump of white mocha and a breakfast burrito, simple enough I thought. I pulled up to the drive thru window and even though I was the only car in line and the parking lot had looked pretty empty I waited over five minutes before I got my drink. When I took a sip I immediately recognized that it was a regular white mocha and let the barista know that it wasn't what I ordered. She took the drink back and remade it, but the second time around they gave me a chai with espresso in it. By the third time they remade my drink they got it right and even though I was annoyed it at least tasted as good as I was expecting it to (the only reason they got 2 stars). When they finally got my food to me they gave me a breakfast sandwich, again not what I ordered or paid for, so I waited another 5 minutes for them to get me the breakfast burrito. My final disappointment came after I had already driven off. I took a bite of the burrito only to realize that they given me one with potatoes in it which wasn't what I ordered. TLDR: They had to remake my drink three times, messed up my food twice and I was in their drive thru for over 15 minutes total. read more
