Miso chicken soup & Hong Kong Chicken salad
Carlyle E.

This is the best cafe I've ever been to. The food tastes so fresh. Meat tastes good. And all the flavors are FRESH. My new favorite place by my work. The area is nice and clean too. Service is attentive. I always place order for pick up and they are quick. This is 2 days in a row now.

Chicken club Sando with strawberry salad and zucchini bread. 10/10
Isabel N.

Had such a wonderful first time experience today. The cafe is just the cutest with plenty outdoor seating surrounded by a garden. I'm so sad I just found out about this place because my office is down the street and we're moving in June I got the chicken club half sandwich with a strawberry spinach salad and zucchini bread. Portions are generous my meal exceeded my expectations. (Zucchini bread was nuts!) Can't wait to go back!

1/2 sandwich (turkey) and a lobster bisque.

I've been here several times now and I've tried a few of their sandwiches and soups. Everything i've tried is very good and very fresh. Sandwiches and Paninis are all excellent. All their soups are tasty...but my favorite one is definitely the Lobster Bisque. It had huge chunks of lobster in it. Their soups are different from day to day. Considering how busy they get during the lunch crowd they get the food out to you pretty fast. All the workers are very pleasant. I will definitely be visiting this place on a regular basis.

Beef Me Up Panini

A great lunch spot, especially if you work nearby. It gets pretty busy around lunchtime, but there's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating to accommodate the crowd. I tried the new Beef Me Up! panini with a side of fruit, and it did not disappoint. The roast beef and béarnaise aioli made a flavorful combo, and the fresh fruit on the side was a nice, refreshing touch. Definitely worth trying if you're in the area.

This is my first time in this place. I ordered Smoked Salmon Salad and it was delicious! Awesome combination of dried tomatoes, capers, salmon, olives and dressing. Next time I want to try Steak Salaf,I'm sure that is great too.

Cashew chicken sandwich on a croissant - all of the ingredients are SO FRESH!

Oh how I missed Café Rose! This was my first time back since we were slammed with Covid. I have to admit, I really missed their salads and sandwiches! And my favorite used to be to order any of their salads and they could make it into a wrap - but I found out that they don't do that anymore! Since it had been a while since I had been here, deciding on what to order was tough! I went with one of their new sandwiches - Cashew Chicken with avocado, tomato & lettuce on a croissant. It was good, but really messy. The avocado and tomato would squish out the other end and sides each time I took a bite *Kind of a challenge to eat at your desk. But that's ok - fortunately I had a knife and fork, so I just used that. I'm thinking I might go back again today for a do-over - maybe I'll try to order something that's not as messy. I also have to mention that they make a really good zucchini bread, which is one of your choices for a side you can get with your order - you can choose from a cheese roll, fruit medley, pineapple coleslaw, or zucchini bread. The fruit medley is a good side too but I usually get the zucchini bread. Then I'll save it to have with my morning coffee the next day. It's so moist and has a great flavor. They also sell a whole loaf but you need to give them advanced notice if you want to get one. I don't remember how much it is - maybe like $12 - $15 dollars a loaf *totally worth it! We'll see what I decide on getting today!! Enjoy your day!

We got the crispy cauliflower to start which surprised me - I really liked the dill ranch that came with it. For our mains, I got the bourbon bacon blues burger which was so good with the blue cheese, the flavor was strong but in all the right ways. My friend enjoyed her buffalo chicken sandwich and was able to take half to go. She did say she wished the buffalo sauce was a bit thicker, it's a rather thin sauce. This is a great spot to come and watch games as they have lots of big screens. Just know that it gets rather busy when big games are on. On days that there isn't big games, tables come and go pretty quickly so there isnt usually much of a wait at least on the weekdays. There are options for indoor and outdoor seating available. Our server was good, however I will say as soon as we paid they stopped refilling our waters. We stayed and chatted for a bit but our waiter or any staff never checked on us again after. Also, the bathroom could have used some attention, the trashcan was overflowing with paper towels and the plunger was out in plain view. I think a basket would help hide the plunger and cleaning products just so that the customers aren't thinking about plungers while at the restaurant.

Our service was excellent the whole evening, very friendly and helpful. Took away plates quickly, brought new silverware, refreshed waters and even poured our wine (they allow BYOB up to two bottles with no corkage!) We ordered A LOT from the menu, and we devoured everything so quickly I didn't even get a chance to photograph. We started with multiple appetizers: Cauliflower, Roasted Pickled Carrots, Blistered Shishitos, Charred Cabbage, and Bread & Butter. All of it was delicious and perfect to share, not massive portions that would ruin our appetites. Everyone ordered different entrees: Fennel Crusted Pork Chop, Lemon & Sumac Chicken, Prime Hanger Steak and Swordfish (substitute for the Rainbow Trout which was unavailable). Again, everything was delicious, prepared and plated perfectly. Additionally, we each had a cocktail and the 4 of us split two desserts. All in all, a truly excellent meal. The servers and hosts were super friendly in breaking down the menu and making recommendations. We started with the salmon carpaccio which was severely underwhelming. I'm no food critic but it was like a vinaigrette with severe dill that completely took over any flavor of the salmon. Then we had the roasted beet radicchio salad which was delicious but I don't think it had enough going on to cut the bitterness of the radicchio. The beets were phenomenal though. Our entree was out of this world. Got the steak cooked to medium rare, and the glaze they put on top was perfect with the fingerling potatoes and arugula salad. Overall was a bit disappointed but may come back to try other entrees or maybe cocktails.

As I continued serving myself from the taco bar, he made another inappropriate comment directed at the amount of food I was putting on my plate, saying, "Whoa now, don't take all the food, save some for the others." There was plenty of food available, and I was simply serving myself a normal meal. His comment was unnecessary, embarrassing, and insulting. It made me feel uncomfortable, judged, and criticized for how much food I was taking. In contrast, the other waiter, who had blonde hair, was wonderful and did an excellent job preparing our drinks. I genuinely appreciated his service and wanted to acknowledge the positive experience he provided. Unfortunately, the first waiter's unprofessional behavior left a negative impression, especially as this was my first visit.
