    Cajun chicken pasta

Honestly this is one of the worst things I've ever had in life. Completely disgusting. I just waste $20. It was recommended by the hostess & I was told it's a popular dish so I gave it a try and was disappointed. The one star is only for this dish. I've had other dishes at cafe roma that was good. And the service was great.

I was a little hesitant due to past reviews. But the food was delicious (I'll definitely be ordering the fettuccine alfredo again!) and our server was super nice and very attentive. I want to try the pizza next time, which has really good reviews.

Ordered a small meat lovers pizza. Wasn't expecting much when walking in and being seated...until I looked at my pizza. Very impressed. Tons of meat on the pizza and very tasty. Nice & friendly waitress, definitely worth the visit

I've always enjoyed ordering from here and even sitting in for lunch. The service is always really good. They treat like family when you walk in. My food has always been fresh and made to order. I was craving they're Alfredo Fries and have always been a fan of the pizza! Something about that sauce is just so damn delicious!! I love it!

Price for lunch $12 Pasta Drink 1 Garlic Bread Pizza Side Salad Very low key place if you dont want a large crowd around. You, must try the Shrimp Italiano nice size shrimp, fried beef, light (crawfish boil) spicy creamy sauce, over spaghetti; one of my favorite pasta. I just wish they could add more shrimp. Cafe Roma Garlic Bread Pizza, OMG is to die for just the right amount of everything. Just a fyi, this is the only Cafe Roma that sells these items. Picture was take after I had eaten most of my food. The lunch plate was a decent amount for $12

We were lucky to have Pam as our server, and she was outstanding--knowledgeable, attentive, and made the entire experience even better. I ordered the Prime Ribeye, and it was phenomenal--served sizzling on a hot plate and full of flavor. I paired it with pasta, which was a perfect complement. My husband went with one of the specials (chicken and penne with vodka sauce), and after trying a bite, I can say it was just as delicious. The only small downside was that prices felt a bit high, but that seems to be the norm everywhere these days. Overall, a fantastic experience--we're already looking forward to our next visit.

For contect, 1 appetizer, 2 entrees at the restaurant, 1 entree to go and 2 ice teas. The veal parm was over cooked with no cheese and the sauce tasted like it came out the can. The chicken was undercooked and the Alfredo was bland. The spinach dip should be called bowl or melted cheese. The shrimp Alfredo was a waste with 6 tail on shrimp and a pasta that was thrown away. The only redeeming quality was the service. The young man was attentive. It wasn't his fault. This faux pas took 38 minutes from parking to pulling off. The fact that there were only 2 tables seated should have been the indicator.

Table & chairs available to sit & eat. Food was ready quick & I'm not sure about the prices but everything is higher than snoop dogg right now. A Co-worker chose this spot for lunch one day. I didn't take a minute to look at the menu to see if they served chicken tenders or not, i rather assumed... Anyways, they didn't serve "Chicken Tenders" but had some Chicken Breast left.. The lady treated me as any loving mother would a picky child.. She took the time she didn't have, the energy she didn't need to waste & the initiative to "make something shake" lol. I walked out with a chicken tender basket & a full stomach with food left over! I appreciate that & you more than you'll ever know for that small gesture of kindness, which was huge to me!

The food was good, so I looked forward to the day that he would open a brick-and-mortar restaurant. Well here it is. I ordered the Wednesday special, which consisted of mustard greens over rice, cornbread dressing, and candied yams. It normally comes with baked chicken, but I paid $2 to upgrade to fried fish. The fish was maybe a smidge under salted, but better undersalted than over-salted, and it was otherwise good. The greens were good too, and I especially enjoyed the dressing and yams. My meal was roughly ~$14, which is really fair considering I'll be eating off of it twice. The staff was friendly and my food was ready fairly quickly. The restaurant is a bit bare looking inside, but it's casual and still very new. I will definitely be returning. #blackownedbusiness

The things they can do with redfish especially are simply amazing. This is a long-established institution in a once not-so-great but now (of course) gentrifying part of town. It's a place with quality but not pretense; with service where the waitstaff does everything they should but is never patronizing or over the top. They get tourists here, understand, but it's really a place still for neighborhood locals and thankfully acts like it. It was opened I believe in 1978 and the vibe remains one somewhat from that era--very thankfully. Again, redfish or any broiled dish is the way to go . . . or the po'boys which are done right and rank amongst the city's very finest. Fried dishes can be more hit or miss which really, that's the state of fried seafood at even the places with great expertise on producing such. Same with sides: the mac n cheese is a notable offender in this regard, sometimes coming out cold, hard, and making you wonder what sort of building material it is and which cement plant produced it. But never mind: you're here for the fish and the fish won't disappoint. Hasn't in decades, after all.

Everyone was talking to their table mates, laughing with their friends, and nodding their heads affirming their enjoyment of their food.
