Warmly welcomed, comfortably sat, quick with opening beverages while we figured out which of our favorites to choose from, our server was on top of everything, while balancing 4 other tables. Still felt like we were getting full attention like we were the only ones in the room. Wednesday is half off pitchers and the 4 different tvs had a great selection of playoff baseball and opening night of hockey. I know sports bars that don't boost this much variety. The bar is perfectly lit and next game I wanna watch I'm coming here. All in all, I'm just happy an old favorite still knocks it out of the park. I'll write another review 15 years from now and keep you updated.

this review is for pizza only, delivery service. I do have…read morevery specific expectations for italian style pizza being that i'm from Italy. For years i was recommended Domenica as the best pizza of that kind available in New Orleans. Today, 15 years later, i decided to give it a try because my usual go to pizza places were all closed. I only tasted mine, cheese pizza. I liked that they're individual size however i'm not too fond of the prize but i made peace with having to dish out 4X the money i pay in Italy for the same size same kind of toppings pizza. The dough tasted over proofed and it was definitely underbaked. The flavor and texture reminded me more of a pita bread than of pizza dough. the sauce was good and the cheese was average. It was eaten but i won't order delivery from them again. This is mostly to warn italian pizza lover that they won't find it here. I also ordered the cannoli dip. i thought it was coming with cannoli chips, but they were 80% tiny crumbs with 3 large bits of cannoli shell, but maybe it oss supposed to be served that way.

We recently visited Pizza Domenica and overall had a good experience. The staff was friendly and…read moreefficient, especially with how busy everything seemed. We also really enjoyed seeing the pizza being tossed, which added to the fun atmosphere. We ordered three different pizzas for our table of three adults and three kids, along with two orders of garlic knots. The pizzas were enjoyable for both the adults and kids. I had the garlic white pizza, and we also got a pepperoni pizza for the kids and a meat pizza. I do miss when kids used to be able to make their own pizza or garlic knots, since that was always such a fun part of the experience. The first batch of garlic knots came out and were really good. The second batch took a while, and when they arrived, they did not seem fully cooked. The staff did take them back and cook them longer, but they still did not taste quite right. Also, the pizzas came out one at a time, spaced several minutes apart, which was a little inconvenient with a table that included three kids. That said, the overall experience was still positive. The kids ate their pizza, and we enjoyed ours too. With just a little more consistency in timing and food preparation, it would have been even better.

My wife and I are doing a pizza survey this summer just for fun. We decided to try a new pizza…read moreplace every couple of weeks to see which ones were worth all the fuss. Il Supremo stands as tall as the rest and maybe the best although we have not finished our survey. This location has a lot of fond memories for me. When I first moved to Old Metairie in the 1980s, I often dined at Delerno's which served amazing food at this location for over 40 years. It was an old style neighborhood Creole Italian and Seafood restaurant, examples of which can still be found throughout the metro area although the numbers are declining. The owner reportedly was one of the first New Orleans restaurant owners to include crawfish on his menu including a Festival of Crawfish featuring what we would essentially call a crawfish platter, crawfish prepared different ways. You have to love a guy like that. I was so sad when it closed. Anyway, back to the pizza. Il Supremo makes pizza as delicious as any pizza I've had in New York or San Francisco. The crust is thin and crunchy with what appears to be a cornmeal dusting. The crust is baked to perfection, brown and crispy with a few, but not too many, burned areas- just the way I like it. The cheese is excellent as is the sauce which has a bit of a kick but not too much to be overpowering. And the amount of sauce is perfect, not too much for those who like it stingy, and enough for the red gravy lovers of the New Orleans. We ordered the Wooster which was pepperoni, roasted garlic, shallots, and basil. It was outstanding. The garlic and shallots were a perfect complement to the sauce, cheese, and pepperoni. The basil frankly looked great but was not very evident, if at all, in the overall flavor profile. Perhaps it would be were it added after baking. The space itself is decent with only a few tables but crowded and noisy even at 5:30 on a Friday afternoon. It shares space with Super Witch ice cream, so if you want dessert, you don't have to go far. I will definitely be back for more pizza from Il Supremo. NB The website is a little heavy handed and full of rules and caveats including that pickup orders have to be ordered 24 hours in advance. I ordered the morning of my pickup and had no problem. I have no idea why you would have to order 24 hours in advance. Regardless, that is the rule. I guess you could call and ask if you're too late to order but, of course, they have no phone. Such is life in the new millenium. If you called Delerno's, Mrs. Delerno would answer.
