I'm lactose intolerant, but at a place like this, you gotta try it with the classic preparation to get the full experience right? And wow, I kid you not, it's probably one of the best matchas you can get anywhere in Cali--super creamy, earthy, nutty, with a smooth grain texture that's not powdery at all. Normally, they include double shots of espresso, which may have tasted stronger for me since my husband wanted three shots, and I usually stick with two shots. The double mango matcha uses fresh fruit syrup so the mango flavor was not too strong and my drink was very creamy due to the signature mango cream on top.
