The food was fabulous. Such a quaint place. Had decor as if we were in Marrakesh. Bright and comfortable. Service was excellent. We had garlic wings that were awesome. The prices were very reasonable.

The restaurant is located in a driving range. So you may think you are in the wrong place. Once inside the views of the mountain are great and we caught a beautiful sunset in this evening. The restaurant is decorated nicely with bright colors and Moroccan decor. We started with the wing appetizers. They were crisp and delicious with flavors of lemon and garlic. For mains we got one of the lamb shank tagines that had apricots and prunes. It was served over couscous. The lamb literally fell off the bone and the sweetness from the dried fruits was nice. It was supposed to have a bit of spice but that was absent. I expected it to be served right from a tangine but alas it was not. It would have been a nice touch to see it served that way. The other main we got was the kafta meatballs in tomato sauce with eggs. It reminded me of shakshuka. The sauce was very flavorful but the meatballs appeared to not be homemade but rather like those pre packed mini ones from the grocery store .This was disappointing as the texture was not the best. This dish was served in a tagine and was bubbling . The tagine was fun to see. . They do have beer and wine and sodas. They also have many hot teas and coffee. I got the mint tea which was flavorful with fresh mint. It was served in a traditional Moroccan cup and pot with homemade sugar cubes. Desert was flourless chocolate cake which was like eating a dark chocolate candy bar. Very rich and served with a raspberry sauce which I would have preferred they strain so you don't get the raspberry seeds which het stuck in your teeth.. A dollop of whipped cream would be a great addition. Overall it was a nice meal and a great way to try a different culture's cuisine. The hostess/waitress was very pleasant and open to any questions you might have had. It's worth the t

We stopped in to hit a bucket of balls at the driving range and discover this place yesterday. Food was awesome, service was great. We had the Chicken Wings, Fries and a Moroccan Coffee. Owner came out to make the coffee, super nice guy. We'll definitely be back. Awesome little hidden gem and definitely a great change of pace from all the other restaurants in the area. They also sever beer and wine so good date night or lunch spot.

Paprika's Paprikas Moorish Grilled Wings $19.95 (Yelp menu price), Lamb Royal $25.95 (Yelp menu price), Nzaha Lamb $25.95 (Yelp menu price)

Yay finally had a chance to visit this place recently. There is free street parking in front of the restaurant, making the pickup process easy. It is a takeout only place for now. I originally tried my order on its website, but you cannot pay online. I then tried my order via the Yelp app. Unsurprisingly, the prices from Yelp order is higher than its website. It's common practice (higher charges on a third party platform), so I was fine with it. The Yelp app gave me an estimate on the order time, but didn't provide completion updates. By the time I got there, my food was already ready and waiting for me. The owner (I think) greeted me warmly. The food is very good! The price isn't "cheap", but you are supporting local businesses. I have to say the entrees are on the sweeter side. I don't normally have Moroccan food, so I'm not necessarily used to the taste. The Paprika's Moorish Grilled Wings were so so good! Overall, very good quality food! Highly recommend it!

This place is a hidden gem . To start we love the 'Moorish Grilled Wings'. The owner recommended the 'Salmon Tagine' for my husband the first time we went & he has gotten it every time since + I love the Chicken Parm! The meal wouldn't be complete without a slice if the delicious chocolate cake & a cup of one of the best coffees I've ever had

Great food! Three of us order different dishes and all were wonderful. Attentive service. Tasty desserts. A gem for Bridgton.

This was our first visit on a Saturday evening and we were glad we made reservations as it was packed yet still maintained a great atmosphere. Our male server Burak was very attentive, professional, and very friendly. We ordered the Lavash with the mixed appetizer - tabouli, Mediterranean salsa, hummus, and Haydari. Chicken and Beef Kabobs as our entrees. Their signature cocktail Istanbul Peach Martini and a glass of Autorotas Sauvignon Blanc. As always the Lavash was amazing as was the Kabobs. The Kabobs came with a scoop of white rice, potatoes and a great salad with no lettuce, just marinated tomatoes. Cucumber, onion with herbs.

I had the mixed app platter with lavash bread, cheese rolls and a cocktail (the name escapes me). The gigantic lavash and spreads were definitely the star of the show here! The bread is a perfect blend of soft and chewy with perfectly toasted bits, and the spreads were mouth watering. The haydari was our favorite, but they were all very good. We really enjoyed sitting on the outdoor patio- the cool artifacts from the old train station are a great touch. The waitress was easy to chat with and knowledgeable... I'm not certain if this is a family-run business but that was the general vibe- warm and friendly with an obvious desire to share good eats. We don't have many Mediterranean places in the area, and Anatolia really fills that void nicely. I immediately came back the next day to buy a gift card for my dad for Father's Day. I think he will really enjoy it here too!

My falafel wrap may be one of the best meals I've gotten in Portland, solely based on food-to-price ratio. The falafel was perfectly cooked, and the wrap was quite yummy. It came with these deep-fried "chips" (I'm sure they are something else) and a side of delicious hummus. I paid about $10 for the whole thing, including a soda. You just can't beat that. The menu was extensive and included a mix of sandwiches, salads, and plates. Would I go back to Mazzat? If I'm in the area, yes, but I probably wouldn't go out of my way to make it there! In my opinion, this is more of a takeout spot. I did dine in, but the vibe is pretty much nonexistent -- a mix of about eight tables inside without much going on. All in all, I'm glad I tried it!

Service was very polite and patient, and the food was awesome. They've got two vertical spits going for shawarma. The kebabs are displayed in the fridge and then cooked, so flavorful and interesting. There are several tables to sit and dine in if that's your vibe. It was torture driving home with the delicious smells. Don't skip eating the pickled veggies, they're unique and delicious! The portions pack a punch for the price. Next time I'll dine in and enjoy everything hot and fresh without the wait. The desserts also looked really good, next time!

To get to the point, this place is a hidden gem in Waterville. I came here for lunch last week…read morewhen I was in town to visit the art museum. I selected Opa because of the other great reviews and I like Mediterranean food. I was greeted with a warm welcome as soon as I came in and sat at the bar. I initially got a Greek coffee which was made to order, hot and delicious. Ava, the bartender, was professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. I couldn't have asked for more. I ordered the falafel dish and was quickly brought a plate of warm bread and olives in oil. Both were outstanding! Looking over the menu, I noticed they had a few Greek wines so I asked Ava about one interesting one that had hints of fig and tobacco. She immediately poured me a sample to taste and it was delicious so I got a glass. My meal came and it too was really outstanding. Every bite was delicious. To add to my experience, Ava put the Bob Ross channel on the TV above the bar so I got my art experience too. Later, the chef came out and talked to me for a while about travelling to Greece to really study the cuisine. He was clearly continuing to immerse himself in the culture to further perfect his already highly skilled craft. I would highly recommend Opa. What a wonderful total experience.

We also ordered spanakopita. We opened it up tonight -- Triangle shaped individual with JUST spinach -- the feta cheese was spread out UNDER these triangle spinach thing (4) super tiny like appetizers- not a meal - no salad either like really? We expected when we drive 1 hr to this restaurant get great food at a place that almost has 5 stars. I can understand we aren't in Astoria Queens NY but come on - this wasn't hard at all. I waited a whole year to drive back & I really wanted to give a great review but the food was just awful. Very are very disappointed . . .
