Their Level One restaurant offers $10 steaks seven days and is a good (and popular) place for corporate lunches in Ashfield, claiming most of the lunch hour business from Annandale Civic Centre's employees. There's a nice balcony coming off the restaurant, great for work Christmas parties, as is the restaurant's adjoining lounge area. The lounge is also the venue for the Croc's Monday night trivia with Emily, their bubbly trivia host. The renos here include an impressive giant crocodile, apparently a prop from Crocodile Dundee 2, entombed in a glass tank in the downstairs bar. The walls of the hotel are decorated with plasma screens and lounges sport faux crocodile skin upholstering. The ground floor is your typical front bar and gaming room. Drinks are pretty cheap and they've got a decent cocktail list, with cocktails that aren't short of alcohol. One feature that sits a little uneasily with me is their early morning happy hour from 9am - 10am, but having worked graveyard shifts before, I can understand the wish for a drink when you knock off at 9am. If you're into gambling, the Croc has heaps of pokies (30ish) and TAB and Keno services, and clearly aims to keep its pokies crowd happy with free soft drinks and heaps of free food for pokies patrons, from sandwiches to salt & pepper squid and other low-brow canape style foods. This place is open late and has 10 tap beers, as well as a bunch of imported bottled beers. If you're around, check it out - if only to see if you believe the Crocodile Dundee claim.

They do a great steak and their home cut chips are fantastic and addictive!! If you're in Ashfield and looking for a place to get a decent pub meal and a beer, this is the place for you. The service is decent as are the prices. I've had weekday lunches here roughly 15 times and it's been a consistent experience.

It doesn't taste anything like the real thing. But it's nice in its own way. The pork strips was nice, the pork patty was strange and the pork chop part was a soy based patty which I've eaten at plenty of other places. There was also this egg which wasn't a real egg,I liked this! The outer white part of the egg was Crispy,it's like a wanton egg My mum had the hainan chicken which was not like the real thing and was fried. It was a little burnt and hard to eat The missus had this rice dish, not much taste to it but still ok. Prices are resasonable, food came out at reasonable rate It looks like what you order is how you will enjoy your experience here

The cheesy fries and the heart attack fries are a must get as sides and don't forget the dawgs - a steamed dog topped with bacon and melted cheese!

Modern, comfortable, clean and well presented. Most, if not every drink, is on tap. Beer, wine, cocktails. Just one pull of a lever and BOOM there is the cocktail you're ordered. Their burgers are master pieces of beef and bun, with three different styles of bun to choose from, including a potato bun. On their dining boards you'll be presented with your burger, fries, sauces, and a slice of pickle which looks like a murder victim which has been thrown out of little car. The only issue I had here was deciding what to order, you know you've found something good when everything on the menu sounds great. The food didn't take long to reach us and the staff where very polite.

Walking in, this restaurant is really nice, and a lot bigger than expected! The restaurant has a very modern, well lit vibe. With tons of beer, wine, and cocktails to choose from, this is a solid spot to enjoy happy hour. We came here for dinner, and dang was it good! They specialize in utilizing their rotisserie to slow roast and crisp up juicy chicken, brisket, and porchetta. With lots of sides to choose from, a variety of other appetizers large enough to share, and other main course dishes to try, there is something for everyone here! I highly recommend trying their super crispy porchetta, and their special nachos platter specifically. I would definitely come back again whenever I'm in Sydney, Australia again! We were visiting from Texas, USA, and we were glad we gave this restaurant/bar a try. It's the perfect place to come with friends for a fun happy hour and delightful dinner, enjoy!
