Raspberry danishes, almond-chocolate croissants, rhubarb and strawberry foldeovers and much more. They also do sandwiches, quiches and I've seen meat pies too, so even those without a sweet tooth will find something good to eat. The main attraction is the cinnamon, sugared chocolate coated twists. It reminds me of my time in Spain. The service was lovely and the husband and wife team do a great job chatting with the customers. Apparently this is the first Aunt Lil's in Sydney where it is a chain in Melbourne. This place cops a bad rap for the appallingly rude staff - and this true. The little old lady is the nicest, but the two younger ladies often have a bit of attitude. But you can be like that when your cakes are this great! And in saying that as much as I dislike rude staff, I will continue going here because they're good.

They accept credit cards with a minimum of $20 spend and a 2% surcharge. To eat in we had a Mocha and a Latte to drink. Coffees were nice and hit the spot. For our sweet treats we had Zuccherati (custard filled doughnuts) which were plump and fluffy filled with their delicious custard, Hazelnut Puff which had a nice choux pastry filled with the same yummy custard and topped with chocolate and hazelnuts and the star Cannoli Siciliani (Custard) which has a wonderful crispy outer shell and that great custard they use in many of their desserts. In their pink cake box to takeaway we have another Cannoli Siciliani (Custard), Cannoli Siciliani (Chocolate), Tiramisu Cup (With Coffee Liquor), Crema Puff (custard puff), and Strawberry Tart. It's light, fluffy and a perfect blend of whatever they put in there that makes it so dang good. And I don't even like chestnuts! I heard the taro cake provided similar reactions, but I'll have to try that and let you know. Anyways these people take their time and create quality cakes, so you'll have to put down a order ahead of time, not like 85C or Breadtop where you can just take it and go. But that's why it's called quality :)

If you have not yet given them a go, you really should. Terrible experience with Raw Passion Desserts. DO NOT BUY!…read more I ordered the cake at the Raw Passion on the 1st Aug and scheduled the delivery on the 14th Aug to my partner. Raw Passion failed on delivery and accused me not providing my partner's contact number so the driver couldn't reach him, which is totally a lie. As I provided it during the booking and sent a screenshot to Samantha at Raw Passion. Samantha's reply was slow and her attitude was terrible. I asked her if they can redeliver it on the 16th as they are not working on Sunday. Samantha replied that if they can't make 16th they will redeliver it on the 17th (email exchanged on the 14th Aug). However I haven't received any update from her And had to send another chasing email on the 17th Aug. Samantha got back to me and said they can deliver it on the 19th which is 5 days after my original deliver date and the cake has been sitting in the freezer during this time. The cake supposed to be a nice birthday surprise for my partner. Raw Passion failed in delivery and messed up with their order system, and blamed customer for their own mistake- not providing contact number which is a lie. Then they tried to ask my partner to take a cake which had been sitting in the freezer for 5 days! I asked Samantha to either remake it and deliver it on the 19th Aug or process the refund. Samantha got very angry and rude with me and my partner and still tried to send the old cake to us on the 19th, which we made it very clear on the 18th Aug's email and text, that we won't take it. As a customer, I have my right to receive the promised product (not a 5 days old cake!) and decent service from the vendor. I requested for a refund on the 19th Aug and chased Samantha serval times but no reply. This leaves me no choice but to comment it on the review and to warn the future customers: DO NOT BUY your cake at the Raw Passion!!!

If you arrive and don't find a queue out the door and down the sidewalk, you've done well. Those people aren't waiting for a table inside for a coffee and cake; they're waiting to get takeaway sweets. When the line moves and you finally make it in the door you'll see it: the glass display cases, 6 or 7 metres long I'm sure, filled with such beautiful and sweet-looking baked confections that you'll find it impossible to make up your mind. So let me make you mind up for you: get the cannoli. Any of them are good, but the ricotta cannoli are so good you would climb over the bodies of the innocent for them. You would sell your child's kidney. You would attend Latin mass for the rest of your life if that was the only way to get them. Dear sweet mother of all that's holy, they're good.
