When a customer leaves feeling like they were charged the maximum possible amount for their order, it's not a good look.
I had to laugh (rather, groan) that it's $4 extra to add salmon to a dish, when when I wanted to remove salmon from my vego Eggs Benedict (Florentine), they took off just $0.90 because I said the price should be reduced. Initially they offered mushrooms instead of salmon (it already came w spinach) although I didn't want anything extra... for $0.90 I guess I'll take the mushrooms. "It's in the system that way" clearly doesn't mean anything; if they can take off $0.90 they can take off $4.
Last time I came, they put meat on my vego dish (replaced but no other amends), AND charged full price for the meat dish! This time, I also ordered a juice. They had run out of apples so I changed the combo... they charged me for the most expensive juice on the menu even though it didn't contain any expensive (eg kale, mint, etc) ingredients!
I get that businesses prefer to keep money in their pockets; sometimes it's better to please and keep a customer. There won't be a third time.
The food itself? The food is reasonable, although with some dishes the flavours aren't well matched. read more
