Ricotta and Berry Hotcakes
Marlene F.

This place is amazing. After reading so many great reviews about it, I decided I would go for the drive and give it a go. After all I'm on the hunt for great coffee near me. Hallelujah!!! this cute little hipster cafe did not disappoint! I was lucky that they weren't busy when I got there which meant I didnt have to get take away and I could wheel my pram in their little dining area and sit down. The staff were amazing and the coffee was even better. The menu looks awesome, i had the ricotta pancakes which were nice but next time I will have something else, perhaps the breakfast board.....

Came here for lunch, had an angus beef burger which was pretty good considering I'm not really a burger fan. The lunch menu is quite limited compared to the breakfast menu. Staff were ok, could be friendlier but at least the food cooked fast. Friends had the pasta bake which she rated 6/10 (said it was too salty) and the chicken con.. which she gave a 7. I'd love to try out breakfast and hopefully next time have a better experience - or maybe my expectations were just too high

A little hard spotting this place from the street but after walking in, the trendy hipster feeling kicked into gear. The atmosphere, food and coffee created a pleasant experience. The friendly staff start you off by walking you through the open kitchen. The seating area is outdoor and small but didn't feel cramped. After taking our seats, we were glad the gas heater was lit as it was cold. Looking through the menu, we noticed that the breakfast period had just finished. To our delight, the waitress happily told us that it was all day breakfast today. We ordered our coffees and everyone on the table received theirs fairly quickly except me. Most on my table ordered the big breakfast. Presented on a wooden board, mine came out with two beautifully poached eggs, pancetta, spinach, mushrooms and a truss of tomatoes. The only downside was the pancetta bacon had shrunk to finger size and was simply disappointing. Stacking my bread with the different ingredients, I was utterly satisfied when cutting into both my eggs that the yolks oozed out. Unfortunately, the rest of my table didn't have the same effect as they were slightly more cooked. My meal was great. Liverpool does not come to mind as an artisan centre but this restaurant definitely makes me want to reevaluate.

Found this little gem and it was a good vibe with decent food and coffee. I ordered the big plate and it was that BIG! Tricky to eat in a small plate but was good food. I think adding salmon for $4 is a bit much and in hindsight I think I didn't need to add this.... it was bigger than I thought. Think I'll be back particularly for the coffee, bit of a campos fan!

I was here for Breakfast. I ordered Egg Benny with bacon. Really delicious. Nice poached eggs, sour bread. Some surprising tastes in the background like lime. Really surprising to me. Wish I had something like this in Belgium, where I live. Crowded on Sunday morning. Other days I don't know

This is a very cute, trendy, hipster like cafe in Liverpool. Outside on the street serves tasty campos coffee, and inside is a little courtyard with tables and chairs to sit for lunch, or even bring a laptop to do some work in. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. This cafe serves breakfast and lunch. The menu is simple but executed well. I ordered the chicken panini which was full of flavour, toasted to perfection and the bread was fresh and delishious. Prices are reasonable too for what you get. They also do specials which change regularly as additional options.

I think I've found my favorite breakfast place in Liverpool City! Very outstanding and pretty looking food. Service is good also.

Fig, grapes, mandarin, passion fruit and lime sorbet accompanied and blended harmoniously on the bowl. Burrata & Jamon $15 Another sexy flavour and beautiful presentation. Italian Burrata Cheese, cured Spanish ham ( Jamon), autumn stone fruits, hazelnuts and olive oil. This was a nice salad! Chicken & Waffle $14 The most let down dish among 4. Waffle a little eggy ( maybe a little under cooked and soggy) and fried chicken wasn't crispy-either. Mapple Hollandaise also way to little to be enjoy as a sauce to accompanied the whole dish. Note: doesn't taste the Mapple on the Hollandaise! Hangry ( yes, Hangry!!) I would said, the most complete dish; fat, carb and protein, with portion of fruit and vegetables. Yes, people... tomato is a fruit, not a vegetable! I wish everything was perfect today, I would give a full mark, 5 Stars!

Now....the pasta...looked great when it came out and smelt good but oh boy oh boy was it salty. You may think it's fine but I found it to be way too salty, I still ate some of it but I could not finish my food. The pasta was well cooked and not overcooked at all, so I cannot falt that. As I mentioned you may all find it delicious but it wasn't for me. The place is always busy so do not expect to get table without a booking, you will be waiting a little while but the staff do try their very best to find you a table if you do not have a booking. Bookings are super easy, I did mine via Opentable app and got me 100 points just for making a booking. Plenty of parking as the cafe is inside Flower Power.

We came on a Sunday around 11:30 am and she'd made a reservation. Reservations are recommended on weekends as the cafe had a very long line when we arrived. The staff seated us immediately after arriving and were prompt in giving us waters. Menus and ordering are done with QR codes. My husband got the açaí bowl while I had the halloumi salad. Both were very delicious and servings were generous; I was only able to finish half of my dish. Would recommend coming if you're local to the area.

Not overpriced and really rather yummy brunch & lunch options. Seating inside and out. Heaps of free parking and genuinely pleasant staff mean that I dare say we will be here more often. Having just opened before Christmas it's the new kid on the block at Woodville Road in Villawood. Right across from the epicentre of Bunnings, AMF Bowling, Skirmish, Indoor Rock Climbin, Cross Fit and Real Estate agency, it will be impossible for this place to not become a local favorite! So much familiarity with dishes like the old salmon and capers combo we love, and The Woods Pantry (TWP) is really clever not to rock the boat too much, addin little touches like the dill caper cream cheese topping, pickled onion and lemon preserve. Such minor changes with powerful flavour sensations overall in the dish. Much is the same with the Vanilla French Toast which combines caramel and passionfruit - genuis!!! Adding pistacchios into the mix we maintain the Mediterranean touch that seems to appear throuhout the breakfast, lunch and dinner menus. Again this is done with the old CLT which is jazzed up with lemon marinated grilled chicken breast smothered with a layer of hommus! For me, the definite favorite was the Breakfast Mezze with the many components to play with making every single bite different and better than the next. Your flatbread fillings include eggs, lebanese beef sausages, potato rosti, haloumi, marinated mushroom, labneh, and the fresh crunch and zest from cucumber, olive and tomato. Nice modern fitout with wide open spaces with a view into the busy centre complex, it's great casual hangout space that you'd definitely come back to regularly!
