Spinach bagel with roasted red pepper cream cheese

Walked up the street with a friend today to try the highly anticipated new location! Hadn't previously been, but now it's going to be my go-to. Bye, Dunks. Ordered the spinach bagel with roasted red pepper and garlic cream cheese. Oh my goodness. Absolutely delish! Christine and Dan are so friendly and welcoming. So very happy to have you in our neighborhood!!

We get bagels from here almost weekly and usually enjoy a couple of their other fabulous treats as well! They have great muffins, cookies, scones, cupcake - you name it! They are always testing out new bakes and I am more than happy to partake! Today I got a lunch special that was very tasty and perfectly fall - turkey, Swiss, apple slices, and fig jam on a ciabatta. Delicious and well priced as always!

Stop in for ice lattes and had to enjoy a sampling of fresh baked goods. Rich molasses Hermit cookies, an Almond Joy cookie that sweeten my latte naturally. I just couldn't leave without a fresh baked blueberry muffin for breakfast .The owners, the atmosphere all friendly and comfortable! Highly recommended for a morning to meet up with a dear friend!

Bottled drinks, fresh coffee+espresso, homemade baked goods!

But she was so helpful and kind, not annoyingly so, a great customer service person. I tried the seasonal cinnamon/vanilla latte iced. It was very smooth, not too sweet but was indeed sweet. I also LOVE and will always support a coffee shop with house made syrups so it was great to find out they have them.

The inside is small with only a few tables and some counter seating, but I really like the design choices they made. The plants mounted to the wall and natural light are nice. The baristas are super friendly as well. For food and drinks, I ordered the iced black sesame hojicha latte and I added ube cold foam, and the sausage egg and cheese biscuit breakfast sandwich. I really enjoy the drinks here. The hojicha latte was quite tasty, not too sweet, and the nuttiness of the sesame came through. I have also ordered a hot latte on my first visit, which enjoyed a lot. The milk was steamed nicely and the espresso was smooth. Something to note, is that there are no ceramic mugs here, which is a bummer. The big thing for me that was a disappointment was the breakfast sandwich. It really felt and tasted like a frozen sandwich that was popped in the microwave. The biscuit was soft and limp, the sausage was that processed patty, and the egg was a premade flat circle. Overall, I think the drinks and lattes are really good and I would totally stop in for a pick me up any time, but definitely skip the food.

*GLUTEN-FREE ALERT*…read more I'm just now learning what a Guatemalan quesadilla is & I want one every day for the rest of my life. Thankfully, we have Cafe Ava for that. A Guatemalan quesadilla is sorta like a cornbread or a pound cake or a piece of actual heaven. It's got a thick but soft texture, it's a little bit sweet & a little bit savory, & it's topped with sesame seeds. My mouth is watering just writing about it. Cafe Ava makes their Guatemalan quesadillas with rice flour, so they are gluten-free. GLUTEN FREE PERFECT LITTLE PIECES OF HEAVEN. Anyways, I know where I'm going tomorrow for breakfast.

After ordering my child was fussy and I went back up for a chocolate chip, banana bread muffin. The empanada was so good. I loved the guava and cheese combo. I never knew they paired so well together. I also really appreciated the flakey salt added. I also had The Goat with turkey bacon added. That was also so good. I love goat cheese and I love avocado toast so it was a great pairing. I snuck a bite of my son's banana bread muffin and that was also so good, I really liked how there was a good amount of chocolate in the muffin. The Banana Bread latte is a seasonal special apparently. I think that is a HUGE mistake. It should be a year round drink. Superb. No notes. I NEVER finish my coffee. I drank every single last sip. Easily in my top five favorite coffees. I truly hope this makes its way onto the menu. I will absolutely be back!
