Milk Jar - Bridgewater Falls - My milk tea

Milk Jar - Bridgewater Falls

I was visiting Family in Ohio and was not expecting to find a great boba shop. But Milk Jar is…read morejust that, a great little shop. They are located on the back side of the Bridgewater Falls shopping area. Inside is modern and minimalist, but clean and welcoming. Menu in chalk on the walls, plenty of seating inside, I don't believe there are any seats outside, or maybe just the time of year being cold. The girl behind the counter was very nice and made my drink perfectly. I got their standard milk tea with black teas as the base and with boba of course. The tea itself was sweet, not overly sweet though and the boba's were excellent. Soft, sweet with a hint of honey. The Boba can make or break a boba shop. Living in Los Angeles, there are so many places to choose from, but not all are good, sometimes the boba is off. Milk Jar does the drink perfect as well as the Boba, so I was really happy to find a great spot in Ohio to get boba whenever I come to visit Family. I would recommend you trying them out for their drinks and boba. They also have rolled ice cream and shaved ice, both of which I did not try but looked very good. Enjoy!

This place is located towards the back on Bridgewater Falls across from Target. The customer…read moreservice was good. The lady working the front counter was very helpful and informative. They have a great variety of drinks, rolled ice cream, and cereal bowls to choose from. They do offer samples of their teas for you to try. That was nice and it really helped make the decision what to get. The price of the drinks were comparable to other places. The drinks we ordered tasted really good and refreshing. We didn't care for their joke of the day when we were in there. Overall, it's a good place to get boba tea and other refreshing tea or fruit drinks. Maybe one day we will try their rolled ice cream....it sounded good.

What a special place... the ambiance is so wonderful here, I want to come back again and again! We…read morevisited on an early evening as the sun was coming into the old house just perfectly and the leaves were falling outside. There is ample parking and a sweet park right outside (and the homes in the surrounding blocks are just beautiful, would be a great spot for a walk after getting coffee!) The inside is artsy which I loved. There are banding lanterns and stars and little painted details everywhere. Some m if it find it cluttered but it was perfect to me- reminded me of a college town hangout! It would be the perfect backdrop to a coffee date or heart to heart- cozy, refreshing, and peaceful. My husband ordered a strawberry smoothie and I ordered a London fog- both were quite sweet but enjoyable. One thing that piqued my interest was the flavor combos you could add to a latte- the True West, for example had fig and vanilla which sounded interesting! It was too late in the day for a latte for me but I would try that next time. The prices were also great- both of our drinks totaled around $7! The price of one drink at another shop. We sat upstairs- beautiful art on the walls, good views, and plenty of seating. There are 2 easily accessible and clean private bathrooms and a meeting room that it looks like you can reserve. The stairs are a little winding but plenty of more accessible seating on the first level, and they brought us up our drinks! Such a sweet spot! We'll be back!

We recently had a wonderful breakfast with lattes and bagels at True West Coffee in Hamilton, Ohio!…read more Coffee shop vibes are always some of the homiest, creative, and inviting when the personal flair is there. And True West truly encapsulates that laid back, inviting, and relaxing atmosphere, and we'll definitely be going back again when we were in Ohio! We really liked the two floors of seating which was available, in addition to the creative abundance of coffees and food items on the menu. Certainly recommend!

We were seated immediately & our drink order of Morning Meditation was taken while we perused the menu. I ordered Chimi steak & egg hash (over medium) while my son got The B.E.C. and Blueberry lemon cornbread. Our food came out in about 11 minutes & it was steaming hot. I sampled the cornbread & it was heavenly. My food was delicious & my son really enjoyed his food too. He also liked the Morning Meditation which is my favorite. My only complaint is I had to wait in a long line to use the ladies room (4 ladies in front of me, one of them being an employee) which only has 2 stalls. This restaurant holds about 200 people so the bathroom is not adequate.

This was their first week open and management certainly did a great job in making sure things ran smoothly. There was ample staffing and they were all pleasant. As to be expected, there was a crowd for lunch when we went. The inside is country modern with lots of whites and grays. This First watch has a bar area to sit at in addition to tables and booths. We ordered a roast beef sandwich and salmon frittata. The sandwich was excellent, served on cheesy bread and a side of horseradish sauce. The frittata was tasty. Each plate came with a tossed salad. Closing thoughts, I was pleasantly surprised at how smoothly everything went considering this was their opening week. There was ample staffing and they were both, efficient and friendly. The food was very good. This will be a nice addition to the area's restaurant mix.
