    Breakfast menu

I really enjoyed my breakfast here. The vibe was peaceful and the service was on point. Asha was great in explaining the menu and showing that the breakfast menu was different than lunch. I arrived before noon so was still in the mood for breakfast. After 12pm they start serving the lunch menu. I ordered the smoke salmon plate and it was a masterpiece! Shoutout to Pepe the chef for presenting an amazing dish. Healthy and filling, I would definitely order it again. Next time I want to try the lunch menu!

The service is okay but the manager is rude i did not like my drink because it did not look or taste like matcha he did not let me get a different drink or get my drink off my bill.

    Alledged Matcha

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Food was mid but edible. Matcha is false advertisement. Got warm milk instead. Manager was uncooperative and rude, and told us it was our fault we added different syrups... Not only that, immediately shifted the blame towards the poor server (who tried her hardest to accommodate us). If you don't know what matcha is, why sell it. Refused to give refund or any other drink that wasn't this dog water. Wasn't looking for a full refund, just a simple swap. The server (blue hair) was the sweetest girl ever. Manager needs to seriously get it together.

I've walked by Cafe La Flore many times and finally walked in for a bite. And what a bite it was! I have always appreciated presentation, food for the eyes. My smoked salmon sandwich is built beautifully and the ingredients are fresh. My sandwich came with soup or salad and I chose the cream of spinach. Service was cordial and the cafe is quietly decorated with art. I ended my meal with a latte. This exceeded all expectations. Will go back to try more.

If you're walking the Crosstown Trail, this is a must stop to rest your weary bones. I had an iced vanilla latte and a smoked salmon sandwich with Kalamata olives. I think it was supposed to be open-faced sandwich but he warned me ahead of time that he only had wheat bread. It had a beautiful presentation which I wasn't expecting and was one of the best sandwiches I've had in a while. Service was quicker than expected since there was just one guy making the food and drinks and cleaning and running the register and I had a big group with me. Enjoy!

Sweet neighborhood hidden gem of a cafe known for their immaculate food presentations, breakfasts brunches and lunches - you'll feel immediately welcome by their pleasant atmosphere and cordial service. I had a Tex Mex omelette and my friend had a Morning Wrap. Their coffee mugs are large fist sizes and the coffee's hot and strong! Great place to meet friends or hang out on your own without feeling like you've overstayed your welcome. Prices are very reasonable for SF.

    Soup of the day!

I went here today for my birthday since I love supporting small businesses, and I was so pleasantly surprised! Not only was the food delicious and oh so affordable, it was plated so beautifully and the customer service is 5-stars! It's now a new favorite of mine and a place I will keep coming back to. You really can't go wrong with Cafe La Flore!

First time trying this cafe. It's a small cafe and wasn't busy too maybe because we came there around 4ish. The staff were very accommodating and friendly so we're happy. The place is tiny but clean. Street parking and you can pay with a card. I ordered a decaf cappuccino and it's really good but the appearance not so since the coffee was sprinkled with cinnamon powder messily. I rather have my coffee without it. Will I go back? Probably not because it's too far

Amazing food. My friend and I shared the Chicken Brie sandwich. Rich and very tasty. It came with a soup or salad and both were fantastic. I loved the presentation of all the food items... Michelin Star quality!!

My brother's friend who lived in SF for 7 years actually recommended this place to us, so my partner and I decided to come here for our anniversary! The sandwiches were absolutely amazing! My partner said it was like he was fine dining a sandwich. We got the roasted beef sandwich and the chicken salami sandwich. The sauces in both sandwiches were so flavorful and the presentation was beautiful. Both my partner's and my favorite was the roasted beef sandwich. I got the soup side with my sandwich and it was so delicious and felt super home-y. The service was also amazing! Super kind, sweet, and patient. I will definitely be coming back here again, and maybe next time I'll bring my laptop to work!

Thank you Mr. Yelp for leading us here after a grueling trip through the DeYoung. It's a tiny little cafe with tasty and well presented food and a charming owner. Just excellent.

I got the breakfast sandwich which was delicious, and my friend ordered the turkey sandwich which they also loved. One thing to note is that they don't allow substitutions or modifications, so just be aware of that going in. It's more of a deli/grocery-style spot, so there isn't much seating, just a few tables and chairs outside. But it's super close to Dolores Park, so we usually just grab our sandwiches and head there to eat. The chocolate chip cookie was also a standout. It's more of a brown butter, dark chocolate situation, rich but really well balanced, and the perfect sweet treat after the sandwich. Since we came right before closing, they even gave us the last cookie for free, which was such a nice surprise!! The staff was friendly and made great conversation. Would definitely go back.

I got the tri tip special with garlic butter and swapped the Swiss for pepperjack. The meat was sliced thin and really tender, and the garlic butter a perfect addition. While I didn't get selected for tickets to the PGA Masters Golf Tournament, that's not going to stop me from making pimento cheese sandwiches at home. Sandy's sells this in a cup, pint, and I believe a quart size. I got a cup ($9) of their pimento cheese, and paired it with milk bread at home, and it was so tasty. Great texture, slightly spicy, really solid pimento cheese. A cup was enough to make 3-4 sandwiches at home. Great staple to have for a quick lunch at home. Egg salad, I got the pint ($16), this was really solid too, although I added some additional salt and pepper to taste. The pint is great for family, easily can make 5-6 sandwiches with the amount of a pint. Honestly a cup order would've been good for me. Egg salad is one of those things I don't want to make myself, so thankfully Sandy's sells theirs lol If you are looking for an affordable way to make tasty sandwiches at home, and like egg salad and pimento cheese like me, definitely worth checking out to satisfy the craving.
