One of the best lattes I had! Haven't tried the food yet but that's next. Coffee/ lemonade is a 10/10. Heard nothing but good things about the food, looking forward to trying it.
My first time visiting here on May 8th, 2026. They had a cool menu of May flavors. So I really wanted to check it out. Nice outside seating. Very spacious inside as well. Clean restroom. Friendly staff that helped me pick a drink. The drink was made pretty quickly, not too much of a wait. I really would try some food next time. Maybe visit for brunch or lunch. Side note, they have music playing. So it's not really a place to have a quiet conversation. Added photos of my most recent visit too.
Honestly one of my favorite cafes in Staten! We have come here several times, and the food does not disappoint. Usually we are here in the morning, thus we order brunch food. You need to order at the counter as they don't have table service. They will give you a number, and they bring out the food to the table. The drinks you need to pick up at the counter. We have ordered the breakfast sandwich, buffalo chicken sandwich, burger, and their lattes. The breakfast sandwich comes with beef bacon! I thought I wouldn't like this, but it's surprisingly tasty! The breakfast sandwich comes with a small salad, so we get the garlic potatoes on the side. These are great. The buffalo chicken wrap and burger are also solidly good. I've only ordered the pistachio latte here because after the first one, I kept wanting it! Soo good! And I am picky about coffee! Currently my favorite cafe in Staten! Please don't change!
Cute little cafe for brunch. We came around 10 on sunday and by 11am the place was packed. The menu had a good selection of items. I ordered the lychee matcha to drink and it was good. Nice matcha flavor and not overly sweet. We enjoyed the meal and would to back again.
Cute place. Food was decent. They have gluten free bread which is a plus. There is no table service. Need to order at the counter and it takes a long time to get food. Coffee was pretty good. Overall, a nice cafe that covers the basics. There was street parking, but no dedicated parking a lot.
This is such a nice spot to eat, relax, chat. Especially if you're catching up with old friends, which was what I was doing. It's pretty spacious so it was just a comfortable vibe. Such a cute place to catch up with friends or have a little brunch date. So many drink options for the coffee lover. Plenty of food options as well, it was almost overwhelming. The atmosphere is so cute, I keep recommending this place to everyone on SI. there's outside seating and a single stall gender neutral restroom. You pick up menus at the cashier and they give you a number for your table. Drinks are picked up at the bar. WiFi is also available although not sure about the outlet situation. Haven't seen many people doing work there, more of a social place.
One and Done We went on a Sunday and expected it to be crowded, which was fine. We ordered at the counter: one avocado toast, pancakes (which had to be plain because they ran out of the other options), and French toast. We were told the wait would be about 30 minutes but could be closer to 20, and that our name would be called when the order was ready. We sat with our drinks and waited... and waited... and waited. Eventually I walked over to the wall of take-out bags and asked if our food was there. It clearly had been sitting there for quite some time based on the look of the bag and the reaction from the staff member. I could look past that -- it was busy, I get it. But when we got home, the food was completely inedible. The French toast was overcooked and rock hard. As we were trying to cut through it, we found a hair in the food. Into the garbage it went. Next were the pancakes -- burned on one side. Also went straight into the garbage. Finally we opened the avocado toast, which was literally half an avocado smashed onto a thick, rock-hard slice of toast. $65 later and every single item ended up in the trash. First and last time there.
This was so good. A nice open spot. Order at the counter and they deliver to the table. It was pretty fast. The shaken espresso was perfection. I got it with oat milk, literally exactly how I like my shaken espresso. I had the French breakfast plate with feta cheese instead of goat. The first thing I thought "wow, there's a lot of mushrooms on here". Ate them mushrooms right up. Every last one. The eggs didn't have seasoning which I prefer. The salad had a light vinaigrette dressing. My potatoes sadly didn't have garlic but my partners did and those were delicious. Highly recommend this spot.
Delicious coffee and breakfast/lunch options with spacious dining room and cute decor! Came here hungry after running a 5k and the food was great! A little slow on service but that's okay, because the food was fresh and delicious. Will be returning when I am in the area. P.S. Try the cookie butter latte, you won't regret it!
This cafe was so cute and pretty inside! The staff was so nice and the food was delicious. Honestly for 2026, the food was fairly priced and the food came out pretty quickly considering how packed it was. The avocado toast and the waffles were absolutely delicious, we also got a side of beef bacon that was also just as delicious ! I would definitely come back here (probably not on a weekend haha)
Stopped in at Cafe Juliet the other day my first impression it's is so quaint and sweet. I loved the vibe there. It's super clean, very open airy. I really loved the cafe . We were getting an order to go so I ordered a maple latte and an iced Caramel latte and decided on a pistachio croissant. They have a ton of options to choose from breakfast to lunch and drinks to snacks. The staff at cafe Juliet were nice and helpful for the short time I interacted with them. I was super happy to have tried this cafe and def will be back to actually sit down and have breakfast or lunch. Parking is def difficult around here.
Every Sunday I wake up and have to stop myself from coming here for brunch. Their drinks? Always a fresh idea that I have trouble finding at other places on the island (ex: their seasonal citrus apple cider and my favorite pistachio latte) Their breakfast plates? The potatoes are always spiced so well, and the citrus vinaigrette on their side salad is something I wish I knew how to make myself. The presentation is also 10/10 every time. Their service? I've never had to wait longer than 5 mins for a table and their food comes out relatively quickly. The one time I did come and they had a wait, the owner started pulling out more tables and seating everyone himself. The ambiance? While the café still gets sunlight in the winter, I mostly come for their outdoor seating on the warmer days. Love that we have such a good local spot that I would usually have to travel to the city for.

Meeting a friend after 7 years who actually came all the way to the island just to meet me was special moment. I ordered my favorite French toast & he ordered a Juliet's BLT . He said it was delicious! I also had the caramel iced coffee, yummy ! Cucumber service was great! Can't wait to come back ! read more
Ok so we were on the Island today Saturday 9/26/26 running some errands in this rainy & windy Nor' Easter; Believe it or not we stopped at Charlie's Café off of 440 we bought breakfast never ate it because my 9:00 AM appointment with Majestic auto detailer got screwed up on their behalf should've known we were gonna bat a zero today.... We were starving like Marvin !! Lol !! So we yelped this Cafe Juliet's !!! What can I say? I could barely give this place a big three stars at best !!! Let's start here; their order system you walk up to the counter and you look at these huge single menus. You pick what you want and then you give your order; then if you're staying you get a number on a stick and you go to a table and sit down and wait for them to deliver your food... but wait; if you ordered hot beverages as we did two large coffees, they'll call your name and you gotta go back up there and pick up your own coffees and bring them back to your table .. Let's start with their coffee; we found their regular coffee to be a little disappointing; my coffee would be more like some kind of a watered down tea with a hint of Cardamom in it.. I asked my wife four times this taste like tea not coffee even she agreed; she went up to the counter and asked the gentleman. What kind of coffee do you guys use ?? honestly a very disappointing cup of coffee in my opinion... So we ordered a stack of pancakes; we ordered the ones with caramel came with fruit, bananas, blueberries walnuts; we both agreed this is the star of the show order the pancakes You won't be disappointed.... Don't forget to ask for butter this place serves pancakes without butter ?? I really wanted an American breakfast. Thought I was gonna get some corn beef hash & eggs ?? Not here in fact the Girl told me she only had two kinds of omelettes on the menu ?? The Wife wanted a simple bacon, egg and cheese on something preferably a bagel; but they only had a plain bagel croissant or a brioche ??? So she opted for a BLT; she ended up getting that on a brioche; not your American BLT for sure. I guess they use some kind of high end organic bacon or something ; Sorry it was just OK.... Found the bacon to be a bit gamy tasting.. I ordered the cream cheese and lox on a bagel with a Schmear; this was also pretty good; the Bagel for me is an epic fail definitely not a real authentic Bagel definitely a commercial Bagel trust me I know I use to own a bagel store so what I did was I just slid the cream cheese and the lox to 1/2 of the bagel and ate half. Take a look at the pictures the food looks incredible; the way they plate it & present it very nice !!! After watching all the clientele that were coming in and going out, we could tell this is for the younger kids, younger generation, the millennials the yuppies and I mean no disrespect by that !! Very big coffee selection cold and hot; as far as the cold beverage selection, just take a look at the pictures; when you look in their refrigerators and you could only really identify two of the beverages by their brand names, Ya just know this spot just might not be for you.... Lol The service was great; very fast and friendly; their dining room room was very clean; just a heads up we were freezing today; mind you I had sweatpants on and a hoodie and I was cold. The door seems to stay open so I can imagine how it's gonna get in there in the colder months... tip; if you don't like to be cold while dining move as close as you can to the kitchen; we watched three tables, get up and move closer to the kitchen because they were complaining about the cold air coming in.... We've been in the food business for years and what we learned is this; KISS AND THAT STANDs STANDS FOR KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID !! we found it works over 50 years in business, maintain consistency, and integrity. It will never fail you... Would I highly recommend this place? Honestly, no.; would I come back again yes no maybe if I was in the area. would I drive out of my way like I did today 20 minutes to get here? Definitely not. Oh, one more thing let's not forget about their prices $$$$ $58. Bucks plus a $10. Tip For semi table service we for it to be a little pricey. What can we say? 06.20.26 @11:36am Walk-in and first thing first is to place your orders on the counter then you get a tab number and find a sitting. Have sitting inside and out. The drinks we got were good and freshly made. It took about 20-30mins for the food to come out. read more

For my first visit coming to Café Juliet I immediately noticed the lively and loud ambiance. However, upon entering, the extremely busyness made the customer ordering process feel unstructured as I wasn'tsure what to do or expect. My husband ordered fig apples and grilled cheese, while I ordered the avocado toast. Food took an average amount of time to arrive and both dishes were excellent. I love my white chocolate mocha, while my husband did not care for his cappuccino. We would definitely recommend to friends and come back again. read more

This is such a cute spot! When you go in, you order at the counter. They usually call your drinks from the bar and then deliver your food to the table. They have an extensive menu of food and drinks, but we tried the honey cinnamon and vanilla lattes, which were pretty sweet but tasty. I had the spicy eggs and potatoes, which was a huge portion and super satisfying, and my friend had one of the breakfast sandwiches, which she also enjoyed! read more

Their French toast is a standout perfectly fluffy on the inside with just the right amount of sweetness. It's definitely one of those dishes you keep thinking about after you leave. The pastrami sandwich is just as impressive. It's packed with flavor, with tender, well-seasoned pastrami that hits the spot every time. You can tell they don't skimp on quality. One thing I really love is that you can add protein to their salads, which makes them super filling and a great healthier option without sacrificing taste. And don't skip the drinks their Cosmo and Wanda latte with oat milk is so good. It's smooth, unique, and a perfect little treat to go along with your meal. It's very spacious with lots of seating but it does get packed up on the weekends! The staff are very welcoming. Another breakfast at Juliet's, this place never disappoints, today I tried the Juliet's heart seasonal coffee and it was absolutely amazing. I also tried the bacon egg and cheese breakfast croissant for the first time and It was absolutely delicious. They were very busy today but the service was very polite and welcoming as always and the atmosphere inside never disappoints. I still have to say this is the best place to get brunch on the island if you want a cute intimate spot with creative meals! read more
I recently stopped by and I'm always impressed. The eggs were super fresh and delicious. The pancakes were fluffy, flavorful, and perfect for sharing -- they're so big you'll want to split them with a friend! The roasted potatoes were crispy on the outside and perfectly seasoned. The presentation on each plate is aesthetic and scrumptious. It does get pretty busy on weekends and weekdays, but the wait for a table isn't long at all. Even with the crowd, the service was quick and friendly. Plus, they offer a fantastic gluten free menu for those with dietary preferences, which is a big plus! A really nice café with a spacious and clean environment. The ambiance is welcoming, making it a great spot to relax or get some work done. The pancakes are decent but pretty basic--nothing too special. However, the rose petal latte is a standout, offering a lovely aroma and a delicate floral flavor. Worth a visit if you're in the area! read more
I recently stopped into this restaurant on a Sunday morning, and it was gorgeous, clean, and all the food tasted exceptionally. We had the cardamom pancakes and we each got different sandwiches and two different kinds of coffee. We really enjoyed the service and we really enjoyed the cleanliness space and the fact that no one ever rushed us because we spent a good amount of time catching up as friends usually do when we haven't seen each other in a long time. Here it was very nice and friendly and I would definitely like to return because they had specials and I can tell they rotate that quite often. read more

I visited Cafe Juliet for a late lunch on a Monday afternoon! There is only street parking available, but it wasn't difficult to find. The interior was very cute and there was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. You order at the counter and the food is brought out to you. It also seemed like a good place to get work done as they have free wifi available. I ordered the french breakfast plate and my boyfriend ordered the avocado and egg bagel. I loved my french breakfast plate! The buttered toast was nice and crispy, the potatoes were well-seasoned, and the salad was surprisingly good. My boyfriend also enjoyed his avocado and egg bagel and noted that the orange slices were surprisingly sweet and ripe. The food was presented nicely as well and I enjoyed my overall experience at Cafe Juliet! I would definitely return to try more things on their menu! read more

Great little cafe, recently opened in Staten Island next door to a diner for folks who stick to the classic diner omelette and sausage. But if you're looking for a fresh take on breakfast look no further than this little gem. They do not have serving staff yet besides a cashier who takes your order up front and the barista that is up there making all types of warm/cold drinks. All very interesting and unique. So many great veggie options as well. You can't go wrong with anything on this menu. We tried the banana pancakes and the plate came beautifully decorated with rose petals. If you're looking for a fancy girls brunch, look no further! read more
My initial impression is that the items are quite pricey and the wait was a bit extensive. For example, a sandwich costing 15 bucks and waiting half an hour for our food to arrive. So given these two complaints, which is it still a 5 star review? That comes down to the quality and preparation of the food. It became evident that the long wait and the higher price tag was due to how much effort the chefs put into constructing the dishes. One by one we saw how each dish came out consistently beautiful and plentiful. The accompanying salad had just the right amount of dressing and paired perfectly as a sweet and tangy contrast to the savory main course. I got the world's best pastrami sandwich and although it could've use one or two more slices of pastrami, it was very delicious nonetheless with plentiful of avocado and egg to enhance its flavor profile. My wife got the crispy egg and brioche and the brioche was so buttery and soft with a generous amount of avocado slices. Both were very delicious and my wife even chowed down the salad when she normally NEVER eats salad. I also got the iced latte that I found a bit burnt, but that could just be my own preference. Overall it is definitely a great brunch spot and it's becoming more and more popular compared to earlier reviews. It's spacious but all the tables can be filled on the weekend. So come early or come during the weekday when it isn't as crowded. There's a lot of people here so be prepared to wait at least half an hour if you come on the weekend, it's worth the wait.
