Never a bad time here, just good vibes and lit entertainment. Sitting at the bar is dope because the TVs are there playing the NBA games and the employees are so cool and fun to talk with. Shout out to Andie and the owner for being awesome. Take a shot, ay! We have been going every Wednesday because they have the $1 dollar wings special so it's definitely worth the money. They have a variety of flavors to choose from. We ordered the Cajun wings, Fish Sauce wings, Buldok wings, and Butter Parmesan, and the Lemon Pepper. My favorite is the Butter Parmesan and the Fish Sauce one. Both are packed with flavors and the wings are crispy but also very juicy. If you guys want good wings and tryna drink up, come thru and support the locals! I don't wanna gate keep this spot, but they definitely deserve their flavors.

The flavors here are AMAZING and really stand out from your typical wing spots. My absolute favorites are the Chinese Chili Crisp and Vietnamese Mom's Nuoc Mam--both are packed with flavor and totally addictive. Service is great--staff are friendly, attentive, and keep things running smoothly even when it gets busy. The vibe is great, perfect for hanging out with friends, and the food is always on point. If you're a wing lover, this place is a must-try!

The burger was juicy and flavorful, and I appreciated that they did not skimp on the mushrooms. They were seasoned well and complemented the melted Swiss perfectly. The spring salad was fresh and a nice lighter balance to the burger. Our food came out quickly, which is always a plus when you are on a lunch break. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable, with multiple TVs playing sports, making it a great place to hang out and catch a game. It has that welcoming neighborhood vibe where you feel like a regular even if you are not. The staff were friendly from the moment we walked in and kept my iced tea refilled without me having to ask. Louie's continues to deliver consistently good food and service. Always happy to support a local spot that gets it right. Looking forward to the next visit.

Having spent the past decade in Garden Grove, I've always known Louis on Main as the local watering…read morehole. The OGs know it's been a classic staple on Main Street for far longer than that. At first glance, it might come off as your average dive bar--but give it a little time, gather with your crew, and you'll quickly realize it's much more than that. Whether you're inside enjoying the cozy, laid-back atmosphere or outside people-watching during the weekly Friday night classic car show, Louis captures that old-town Garden Grove charm--even in 2025. It feels like stepping back a few decades, but in a way that's classic rather than outdated. Prices are still refreshingly reasonable for both food and drinks. I personally love their rotating sour beers on tap--the selection changes often. I once came back within the same week and found the previous sour had tapped out and been replaced with a blueberry pomegranate sour, and both were excellent. As for food, the carne asada burrito is a standout: filling, consistently good, and really hits the spot every time. Service has always been solid. The staff is friendly, attentive, and welcoming, and they genuinely don't mind if you sit and linger for a while. They regularly check in without being intrusive, which makes it an easy place to settle in for the evening. And if you didn't know--every Friday night Main Street shuts down for a free classic car show, and Louis is the spot to be. Whether you're grabbing a front-row seat, pregaming, or stopping by afterward, it's perfectly positioned. All in all, Louis on Main is a dependable, community-driven bar with history, fair prices, and timeless charm. Not flashy--but that's exactly the point.
